(You already rolled one perception roll in your post, was mostly asking for the rest of the party. You would get 1 more roll for advantage to go with the original roll, unfortunately your first one here is a 7, which doesn't help)

The party doesn't notice anything out of the ordinary as you walk into the a ravine. After walking a short ways, you reach an area where the trail winds through a gap between two outcrops. As you continue, you suddenly hear a thundering sound. Looking around to see what's causing it, you see boulders tumbling down one side of the ravine, having been pushed down towards you by more raiders hidden amongst the rocks above. These raiders look noticeably different from the others you've faced so far, looking less ragged, and wearing similar (though not identical) black leather tunics with flared, black mantles. One of them wields a heavy crossbow with 2 swords strapped at his waist. 2 more hold simple clubs, and the rest are each carrying a couple spears.
(Need a dex check from everyone, DC11. 12 damage on a failed roll, half that on success. Then initiative rolls! The boulders make up the surprise round for the raidres. Their initiative: 2. If you get higher, feel free tot ake your first round. There are 7 raiders in the rocks above where the boulders came from, positioned about 15 feet up the side of the ravine. No roll needed to get to them, but it's difficult terrain, so requires double movement. Due to the height advantage and the rocks they're hidden amongst, they have 3/4 cover from ranged attacks while you're on the ground level.)
Due to his many years teaching at Beeftown High, Pops has the Alert feat which means he cant be surprised and hidden creatures do not gain advantage against him. I take it that means Pops can act during the surprise round?
Dex Save: 11
Pops sees the rocks falling on his team and he casts Silent Image making a thick cloud of fog cover his teammates. Due to the nature of the illusion everyone in the party can see through the illusion granting advantage on all attacks and disadvantage on ranged attacks from the goons above.
Once the ritual is complete let’s press on to follow.

Can I use my climbing speed to negate the difficult terrain?
(Yah, I'd let you use climbing speed)
Dex: 12
Initiative; 13
Dawn will climb 20 feet up the opposite side of the ravine from the raiders.
If after 20 feet I have a clear shot, I will shoot one of the raiders Attack: 18 Damage: 9
If I don't have a clear shot, I will dash until I have a good position (not sure if I can dash using climbing speed, but I assume so. Max 40 feet)
(I might hit a barn door with that roll, but not a whole lot else)
( You had advantage shooting from the Silent Image)
I got alot a doods
It's only got an area of 15 feet, I moved 20 feet.
I had forgotten about the advantage, or I may have shoot before I climbed up the ravine
