Phil leans down to the remaining civilian, and waves his hand over the goblins face reminisant of the Jedi mind trick. He casts “Suggestion” at level 2, and whispers-
“Stay here, and answer our questions to the best of your ability.”
Phil turns to his companions and says “Unless the magic fails, do NOT hurt this Goblin.” He turns back to the goblin and continues-
“First question, tell us the interesting facts about the floor we’re currently on. Anything magical, treasure, any potential threats to a party of invaders.”
Phil reaches out and retrains the goblin before he can slap himself. "Listen, I got him good, but literally the smallest shock to his system could possibly break the hold my magic has on him. Very powerful, but very fragile. You can continue asking questions, but leave physical requests to me please."
“Okay buddy, I’m gonna give you some charcoal and paper, and I want you to draw a map of the floor, and any below that you know, marked with points of interest. After that, and maybe one or two questions you’ll be free to go.”
Phil turns to the others and says “Watch the doorways. The other goblins might notice these guys haven’t checked in or something, and send some people. Don’t let anyone escape.”
"Let's not get off topic people. What do these two X's mean? Is there anything else, anything at all you would think to mark down? Could you maybe label the rooms in this map, give a general impression of what might be found inside?"
“Okay, you’re feeling pretty drowsy and overwhelmed right now, why don’t you just go to sleep.” He closes the commoners eyes for him, and once he’s sure the goblins asleep, he turns to his companions. “He’ll be like that for the next 7 hours. Bal, I know you’ve got beef with goblins, but try not going full genocider on us, I’d like to get some decent nights sleep after this adventure.”

“This bacon smells a bit crispy!” Balrog remarks with a chuckle.

WOW.
"We work for Belak, powerful Druid. Trying to tap magic from very big tree deep in cavern. More goblins and bugbears on this level."

It's funny, I either roll REALLY bad, or REALLY good. Can't explain it.
"Anybody else got any good questions? I got him under my thrall for a quite a while, so no questions a bad question."
Balrog asks, “any treasure down here?... oh and slap yourself in the face for being an ugly goblin!”
Judas asks "What are Belak's weaknesses?"
Last to know and first to be blamed...
As a free action, can I regret my life choices?

The goblin doesnt know the answers to those last questions.

Balrog just grumbles in response to Phil. He wanted to see a goblin hurt itself for once.
The goblin draws an X in the south central chamber, and a very large X on AREA 56.
Ugg looks at the goblin and then feels his stomach growl. " where is the food? I'm Hungry"

"Plenty of fruit on the tree!" he says, nervously.
“Tree... underground?” mutters Balrog, “Only dwarves can manage that!”

Sleeping quarters, he indicates. Other than that, he does not know. He is not allowed ahead of this immediate area.
“Uhhh... probably some sort of a magical tree in the big one..” remarks Balrog offhandedly.
