All - Near the entrance to the keep you see the elderly kobold Kashak, speaking with a floating ball of red light. The rest of the kobolds are strung out behind it along the precarious approach to the keep, looking around. After a moment, you see the elderly kobold bark an order at two of the well armored subordinates and they stand watch outside the entrance to the keep as the others begin filing inside behind Kashak.
Please make Stealth checks to see if you can sneak past the lookouts to the cover of the waterfall.
“Looks like the rope may not be necessary if we can sneak past these guards. The owl says the Dragon was wounded in the fight with the elves and still remains in the keep.” Thelan pauses as he looks at the group in front of the keep “There is that ball of light we heard about, now it is talking to the Kobolds. Interesting.” He shakes his head and moves lightly to slip past the guards unnoticed. Stealth: 23.
Yasmina nods and follows cautiously, first creating a distraction for the kobold guards as the image of a deer appears some 60 feet away in the treeline.
Silent Image, Stealth: 24 Another roll if distraction gives advantage: 23 Perception to spot threats: 13
Seeing the illusion, Neela grins and casts her own spell [Minor Illusion] to add the sound of chewing grass to the deer to make it appear more real. With that, she hurries to catch up to the others and whispers to them. "Hey what if the Will-o-wisp is the spirit of an enemy of the elves and that is why it is working with the dragon and the kobolds to take over the Keep? If the rumors of lycanthropy are real, it would make sense the elves would have enemies. Anyway, that would make a great story. Boy, I'm so excited to see what we find."
(I see you already rolled Stealth for me, thank you)
Sinak nods to Neela, saying quietly “Something strange is certainly going on here. We need to find the children certainly, but I think there is more we will need to uncover along the way.” You see a twinkle in his eye, the cogs turning behind them.
(Second stealth roll for advantage if allowed from the illusion):

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
All - You manage to cross the open space between the trees and the waterfall without attracting the attention of the lookouts. Behind the keep the roar of the waterfall is deafening and the barely discernable path is slick. You have to move in single file along the rocky ledge, stepping among the large rocks as you go. The roughly hewn passage behind the waterfall is carved from the stone of the butte and is interspersed with crystalline formations. You follow the upward winding of the passage for a bit when you begin to hear a sound echoing downward. It sounds like the frustrated roar of a beast and is punctuated by banging.

"Let's continue."Yasmina whispers to the others, moving quietly up the stairs. Assuming she reaches the locked door she starts by putting her pointed ear to it and listening, trying to determine what could be behind it.
Perception: 8 Another roll if Razul can help out: 8
She then seraches the door for traps.
Investigation: 5 Another roll if Razul can help out: 22
Assuming she doesn't find any traps she tries to quietly open the door with some slender tools. Thieves tools: 22
Yasmina - You notice a cleverly hidden pressure plate on the ground a few feet in front of the door, pulling Krugh back just before his foot settled upon it. After gently testing the plate, you see that weight of more than 10lbs will likely trigger the trap, but there are no obvious ways to disarm it. It appears that it'd be best to step over it and leave it be altogether. The door is made from heavy steel that has rusted over, but the lock mechanism is surprisingly well maintained. Your tools make quick work of the lock. All the while the bestial and banging sounds emanate from beyond the door.

Yasmina makes sure to point out the pressure plate to her companions, shaking her head at Krugh, then motioning to make clear the door is unlocked, ready to follow the others inside the room beyond.
Stealth to surprise the banging creature beyond the door: 21

Sinak sneaks forward, asks for blessings from his Lady, and holds his breath as he moves forward, watching out for the pressure plate as he moves. He holds a finger up to his mouth in a "shush" manner when looking back.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
All - Beyond the door is a small but grand gathering room. Strangely though, this room seems to have been used recently, you can hear the sound of growling and shuffling from within, and arcane and alchemical implements cover the wooden shelves. As you get farther in, you notice the source of the growling. Trapped in a silver cage is a ferocious half-elf, half-wolf hybrid. The werewolf throws itself against the bars of the cage in frustration, then howls in pain as the silvered bars sear its skin where they touch. You also see that the beast's body appears partially decayed, as if it were raised from the dead. Most of you manage to file into the room without making any noise, but Krugh walks face first into a thick spiderweb with a plum-sized spider on it. He instinctively backs into Thelan who stumbles backward and steps on the trapped pressure plate! The sound of tons of falling earth and stone drown out the howls of the undead werewolf as the hidden passage is completely caved in. Thelan manages to dive into the room without being caught in the collapse, but the beast in the cage begins howling in earnest. Long, mournful howls that reverberate loudly in the small space. In addition to the deafening cacophony from the cave in, you're pretty sure the element of surprise is now lost.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Sinak searches the arcane and alchemical implements, looking for anything of note, also searching for any journal or descriptions of what is going on here.

Yasmina calls Razul to her side now, instructing him to scout ahead and to report on what is the cause of the frustrating roar and the banging.
Razul perception: 7
(Suggested marching order: Sinak, Krugh, Thelan, Neela and Yasmina?)
Yasmina - Razul reaches the top of the stairs and finds a locked door. The noises are definitely coming from beyond it.
