Felmar - Based on your knowledge of medicine, you're confident the man is fine and any limp is mostly for show. The halfling blinks a few times, his head bobbing as Kor walks, "Not so good." He wipes his hand down across his face and looks at it with a confused expression, "Mushrooms huh?" The halfling looks around, then wipes his hand on Kor's armor, "I'm Larby. Larby Large-lunch. D'ya mind settin' me down? Feel like I could spew-" Larby projectile vomits an impressive distance, and you see that it is much less purple now.
"Ack! Oh c'mon!" Kor immediately swings the halfling around and him on the found. "Not on me clothes, you galoot!"She tries to turn around to inspect the damage on her back, cursing as she tries to wipe away some of the vomit off her.
Kor - Most of the vomit arced out and away from you but there is a small amount on your shoulder. Larby looks up at you from where he's sitting and says, "Sorry miss..."
Felmar - Larby squints and looks confused as he says, "I went a little nuts? How do you mean?" Larby lifts an arm and gently prods his side where you struck him, "Feels like I got kicked by a cart mule then run over by the cart."
The ‘shroom drove ye mad and ye attacked the stupid-arse that gave it to ye. Ye reminded me o’ a rabid bunny. I gave ye a whack to put you out til it wore off. Sorry. Now that yer awake, we’re headed back to yer village. Ye and yers can judge this one for his actions. Not sure if any o’ your neighbors got sick.

Felmar - The halfling man listens then slowly gets to his feet, "Huh. I must've had a bad reaction to them. I hope everyone back home is okay. Where did you say we were again? My village is about a stone's throw from the Northdark Wood if you've ever heard of it. We do a bit of foraging there. They have the best berry bushes along the Sword Coast! Speaking of berries, I'm famished! I wonder if that peddler has any more mushrooms left, I could eat a dozen or more right now." You then hear Larby's stomach growl as if on cue.
We know if the Northdark. We were headin’ that way when this happened. More of those may be a bad idea. Methinks we are fairly close to yer village, this idiot is to be leadin’ us there.

Felmar - Larby looks down at his one-shoed feet then up at you and shrugs, "Yeah, I'll be fine. It'll be about time for first-dinner when we arrive anyhow."
All - You travel about another hour 'til you reach a fork in the road. The right path leads off into the distance where the Northdark Wood squats on the horizon and the left leads to the halfling village of Hupperdook. Larby leads you into the collection of small, thatch roofed buildings where you see smiling and curious halfling folk watching you all as they go about their business. You are approached by an elderly halfling woman who introduces herself as Greta. Larby explains the situation and Greta thanks you all for helping Larby. She turns to the elven man and says, "It looks like justice was served already on the road today sir. You are very lucky that more of our people weren't affected so poorly by your stolen wares else I'd have made Larby seem a playful kitten by comparison." The man keeps his eyes on his shoes and says nothing. Greta scoffs and turns back to you all, "I've no interest in keeping him around here, but I'm ill inclined to let him leave and take advantage of other good folk. I say we keep his things as recompense for Larby and send him on his way with no more than five silver. Thoughts?"
Yer the ones he wronged, not us. We leave his fate in yer hands. Now, me friends and I have business in Northdark Wood. Is there some’ere with a roof we can sleep tonight. An’ maybe a meal? We can pay…

All - Greta laughs and says, "Of course! We'd love to have you." She looks at Kor and Doc and says, "We might have to slide a few beds together to accommodate you tall-folk, but we'll make it work." She motions for a burly and bearded halfling, and he walks over, "See to it that he leaves and doesn't come back." She indicates the elven man with a thumb over her shoulder as she leads you all to one of the cottages. You spend the night in Hupperdook eating and drinking your fill. You see that Larby lives up to his surname, eating what you would think impossible amounts of food for someone his size. Greta refuses all attempts at payment and wishes you all a good night. In the morning you're treated to an equally impressive breakfast and sent on your way with a basket of warm hand-pies filled with meat and potatoes, bright red crisp apples, and blueberry muffins.
After roughly two more hours on the road, you find yourself nearing the edge of the woods. The trees of the Northdark Wood stand tall behind the remains of a burned-down farmstead. The blackened timbers of the farmhouse claw at the blue skies like a skeletal hand. A Dwarven woman paces next to a well in front of the farmhouse. She sees you and starts jumping while waving her hands and calling out to you. She then leans over the edge of the well and yells “Help is here honey! We’ll get you out of there!” before running as fast as she can toward you. She reaches you out of breath and teary-eyed. “Help me please! My son was playing here and fell into the well!” she says with her hands clasped in front of her.

Doc -
You thought you may have seen movement in the remains of the burned down farmhouse, but it's hard to say.
Kor is up!
