Having noticed the brief, sour smell with the others, Aino whispers to Storm: "Be ready to cure poison or disease with your laying on hands, holy warrior of vengeance. We all smelled something foul there - might be dirty tricks afoot."
Kikeprat steps to the front beside Storm. "We have the eye of the tiger"She screams and walks out with 'Last Quip' gleaming with its Tourmaline jewels, in her right hand..
History check to see if I recognize the smell: 16
Initiative: 18
(OOC: I have Last Quip in hand, I will use her non-lethally unless otherwise noted to knock people out)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
The party finishes their final preparations and line up at the portal to the arena. You step through and find yourselves in the arena.
With the 22 performance the crowd is chanting your names. You now have 231
Dm: gain enough fans and some food will happen.
Each of you are on a separate platform. Each platform is a 20 ft circle roughly 10 feet off a lake of green water. Across from you is a large man (picture a sumo wrestler) and beyond him is a bridge that leads to a central ring where the 15ft Honda waits stretching in anticipation of the fight.
DM: your order in the Initiative is what Sumo you are across from. Casey= 1,Kileprat = 2 ect.
(Casey gets an 11 on the save, which is good enough! In log)
Casey looks at “her” sumo wrestler and strums a discordant note at him- casting dissonant whispers for 10 HP psychic damage - a DC 15 wisdom save for half. If the guy almost makes the save, she will use cutting words to subtract 3 from his roll. (Bardic inspiration feature).
if he fails, he will use his reaction to move as far as he can from Casey- hopefully toward the central platform.

Dm: these guys surprisingly are wise. 9 but still fails. He moves to the edge of the platform just before the walk way. Something seems to keep him from going any further.
Kileprat will charge Charge Sumo2, She will Pummel him with Last Quip in the head with the flat of the blade. "Sorry for you, but you got the wrong platform." She laughs. "You don't want to fight me fat man, go ahead and jump off the platform and save us some trouble"
Thumbtack flies by and takes the help on the sumo who faces Aino, flapping her wings in their face before flying back up out of reach.
Certainly a disadvantage being split up like this, thinks Aino. We had counted on Storm and Kileprat being the frontline for grapple.
Staying on the center side of her platform, she moves to attack the sumo non-lethally with Booming Blade and her Rapier, +1, attacking with advantage as provided by Thumbtack. (And keeping the best of 3 d20s instead of 2 due to the Elven Accuracy Feat).
AinoRapier, +1: To hit: 17 Damage: 10 magical piercing (non-lethal) Booming Blade: extra 6 thunder damage if the sumo moves voluntarily before Aino's next turn.
She decides to learn the sumo's tactics. She takes a step 5' back towards the center of the platform with no disengage, provoking an reaction attack if the sumo wishes. But now, to reach her on their turn, the Sumo would have to move and take the 6 thunder damage from Booming Blade.
Sumo 3 is hit. Does not seem to take any damage. With your passive you notice it's knees buckled for a second before regaining it's balance.
As you move back Sumo 3 will attempt to attack. Dirty 20 miss. It goes to slap you as you move but you only feel the wind as it's arms are not quite long enough.
Push make a dex save DC 13. On a fail you are pushed 1d6 feet. Since you are on the edge of the ring you would be pushed off.
Sumo 2 will attempt to slap Kileprat twice
Slap: dirty 20 for 6 damage.
Slap 2: 19 miss.
Sumo 3: will charge Aino. Taking the damage. It causes it to stumble stopping his momentum. Unable to finish it charge it will attempt to grapple you. Make a dex or str check to beat a 17
Sumo 4. Will also charge Storm. Make a dex or strength save DC 15 or be knocked prone. On a fail it will attempt to pin you.
Storm raises his shield up to brace for the blow, and heartily stands his ground. He grins and looks over his shield "You'll have to do better than that!"
Athletics Check with advantage from Enhance Ability: 22
Kileprat will get an oppportunity attack with 'Last Quip'
Attack w/Advantage: Nat 20 + 10 Damage: 18(doubled with bonus), with no resistance. All in gamelog
(Hell yeah, I Iike this sword)
Kileprat spins as the sumo hits her and brings her sword around in a long flat bladed strike against the back of his head. "I tried to tell you... Arrrggg"
Last Quip reaction: while you hold the sword, you can use your reaction to make one melee attack with it against any creature in your reach that deals damage to you. You have advantage on the attack roll, and any damage dealt with this special attack ignores any damage immunity or resistance the target has.
Everyone please roll Initiative. :-)
“Eye o’ the tiger team!” Casey says. “Let’s take em!”
24 (natural 20) initiative. (Hope not my only nat 20..)

Storm looks out at the crowd and the arena and becomes slightly distracted, slowing down his attention once combat starts.

On his turn Honda will stretch his legs, and lock eyes on Cassie trying to intimidate her.
Please make a Charisma save DC 9
DM: You can't not pass a DC 5 unless you get a nat 1 lol. What a crappy roll. Also sorry for miss spelling your name. I edited to fix.

Based on what happens Casey will move..

Kileprat is up Casey can still move if she wishes
Kileprat will charge Charge Sumo2, She will Pummel him with Last Quip in the head with the flat of the blade. "Sorry for you, but you got the wrong platform." She laughs. "You don't want to fight me fat man, go ahead and jump off the platform and save us some trouble"
To hit: 21 Damage: 11
Bonus Action: Rage
“Hmm.. whot’s wrong -ya don’t wanna go across the bridge?” Casey says as she backs up, to just on the far side center of her platform.
Sumo 2 gives you a stupid grin as it shakes of the blow to its head. The attack seemed to hurt it but was not as effective as it could have been.
