"You have to talk to the guild about pricing," Gary says. "I'd be better off you killing me then divulging that info. He gave me instructions in Unthalass."
He thinks for a moment then says.
"When it was done I was supposed to meet him up north. Place called Peltarch."
Jan remembers Bigge mentioning Unthalass as a port the ship had recently been to that lies across the gulf from Gheldaneth. She can't put her finger on it but something to do with catacombs twigs a memory too.
She knows Peltarch is a town in the north. She's pretty sure it sits on the edge of a lake but the name of the lake isn't coming to mind.
"Oh, hey, ya. You can do waaay better than a description of Doc Owens. Show us exactly what he looks like."
After taking a good long look at the face he'll answer Gary,
"Noon gets you. Pretty shit move to put all the Lintoll's reputation at stake. You didn't need to get itand Noon's folks blended into this. Seriously man, shit move."
His features then change, morphing and melding into the shape of the person, Owens, that he just described. Watching it happen in real time is somewhat surreal.
After a few moments, the face and limbs begin to shift again.
Sitting in front of you now is Autumn Noon.
"The Lintoll would not be in any danger of having its reputation ruined unless you lot decide to ruin it."
"Do you know anymore about this prophecy? What did information did he ask to get from us? How would you know when the job was done? And why did you pick Hammerdasher to copy?" Ava couldn't help the last question, she was just curious.
She stares in absolute wonder as his face changes in front of her.
"I don't know anything about the prophecy," Noon-Gary says. "And now, given you've already said you're handing me over. There doesn't seem to be much point continuing this conversation."
Avaria gets right in his face and growls. "They said they were handing you over. I haven't decided if I am just going to kill you or not after what you have done. Answer my questions. As you can see... I am not drunk."
"No I can tell that," Gary says. "Though I'm not sure why that would make me think you're more violent. Plenty of drunks get quite aggressive."
Gary stands up.
"We should get going before the afternoon crowd starts arriving." Gary says. "The Lintoll gets busy in the afternoon and it might be awhile before you find the headmaster. I might be the only Noon you see again today."
Gary smiles.

He takes a breath then holds his empty hands up.
"What next?"
Jan fuzzily tries to place those names.

"True."

((Martin wouldn't have told Gary he was being turned over when he turned into Noon, but would probably guess it.))
"Well if you're done being helpful... Easier to carry him if he isn't struggling Dave."
If you're doing anything more than threats, we'll need initiative rolls.
(Ava is just waiting for him to respond to her threat)
((I think I cross posted with kq, same drift though!))
The raven vanishes.

"Nah, nah, you aren't walking yourself, and certainly not looking like that. Sit down or you will be sat down."
Martin's dagger is now ready, he presumes the other two are ready as well.
"Now."
If there isn't immediate compliance she'll club him with the hilt of the dagger.
