((Not running, running gets attention, but moving with purpose. Once we get to an alley, Jan will shroud them in quiet shadows and keep moving away from the building.))
Until Jan says something to the pair, she's not going to know how well her spell worked. While the one twin looks somewhat neutral towards, Jan, the one with the scar, however, looks just as suspicious and angry as she did when she first burst through the doorway.
"Where the hell is the other one and who are these two?" Scarred Goliath says as she continues towards the party.
The one without the scar approaches as well but focuses on Avaria and Ethel.
"What are you two doing hanging around out here?" she says. She looks at Avaria first but then shakes her head and focuses most of her suspicion on Ethel, perhaps dismissing the idea that Avaria could have magicked her way into a safe.
"There was an older woman needed help, so he left to lend a hand, these two said they were solic- sol-... that they was asking for a donation for some sorta cause. Was just tellin' 'em it wasn't a good time for it, and was turning them away.", Jan-guard murmurs, showing proper deference to his angry, scarred boss.
Attempting to use Jan's ruse as a diversion to the situation, Avaria acts like this is her cue to ask the real person in charge. Walking with purpose up to the unscarred goliath, "Why yes ma'am, we're here to raise funds for the Peg legs for the legless sea legged sailors. You see, as you know the sea is such a wild and unknowable place and the amount of sailors that lose their limbs out there is astronomical! Why, my uncle Bill used to bring home fish all day long, but after his leg was taken off by one of those massive swordfish? He couldn't work and now he makes my sweet old auntie work the mines! Can you believe that? Well. I sure don't want it to happen to others! So we're taking up a collection if you're willin."
The one without the scar looks like they might have almost been willing to buy Avaria’s story but a stern look from her sister and Jan-Guard’s intervention shakes her out of it.
”You two get out of here,” the one with the scar says To Avaria and Ethel. Then she points at Jan who she seems fairly convinced is the guard. “No one. Not a soul goes in, or it’s your head.”
The pair begin checking around the edges of the office, arms out as if they expect to touch something unseen. The one with the scar keeps an glancing over to make sure Avaria and Ethel are actually leaving.
Ava scowls at Jan and remarks, "I hope your legs don't get bitten off by a swordfish!" and she ushers Ethel away, heading back towards the closest alley to be able to watch how Jan fares.
Missy Marrin has to head only about half a block east to find the closest tavern to the docks, though calling it a tavern might be generous. This place, The Silver Fish, relies on its proximity to the ships to bring in business over cleanliness, charm, chairs, or good service. It's more or less one dank room with a long bar and little else. A few sailors stand at the bar drinking what appears to be ale. The two guards happily order the same for themselves and Missy.
The nearest alley is not far, just across the main frontage of the docks, but it's also quite visible from the stevedore office (are Avaria and Ethel looking to hide or just remove themselves from the local area).
While Jan-Guard does her best at impersonating the stevedore guard, she can see the twins are agitated.
"I can see taking your ring, but why on earth did they take my lunch" the one without the scar asks the other. If that is the engagement ring, the one with the scar then is presumably Vovia.
Vovia slams her fist into the wall of the office in response. Jan notices a slight crack appear in the plaster finish.
"I don't care why. When I find who did, they'll wish they'd never got out of bed this morning."
Vovia looks around the docks then comes back to Jan-Guard.
"No one else came by except those two panhandlers?" Vovia asks. "Has to be them then."

Cyrus, even with his anger making him difficult to charm still ends up smiling at Missy (no Silvery Barbs required).
"Oh well, if that's the case, I guess we can make an exception this time," Cyrus says to the guards. "Just don't make a habit of it."
Cyrus continues down the dock towards another ship.
"Thanks to yeehs Cyrus! Ye be havings a fine day!"
She calls after him.
Looking around at the work done she announces,
"Missy's thirsty boys, let ol' Missy buy ye a drink as thanks and ye can get back to yeehs spot."
She'll then head to the nearest place to get booze with the pair.

As Jan starts away from the office, and presumably Avaria and Ethel follow along, the door bursts open behind them.
"Yo, you lot. Stop right there," a deep voice shouts.
The pair of large goliaths tumble out of the doorway.
Avaria stops moving with Jan and Elthel, shuffles to get inbetween them as she turns towards the goliaths. "Yes?"
Jan, who still looks like one of the guards, mutters while turning and curling her hand.
