((Okay - the group is huddled in quiet conversation in the toilets for now. Is there a plan of who's going where? Guards returning to patrol? Going up the tower? Watching for the Hargroves?))
((Sorry was waiting to see if you had anything specific you were planning. The entire party is currently in the Privy (top leftish). The guard crew were in the middle of patrol duty. Are they returning to that, or are the deviating and heading up to the barracks? Avaria did learn that the warden's offices were somewhere up the tower on a level above the barracks. If the other group are watching for the Hargroves, is there somewhere they want to go specifically? From what you've gathered they are coming from the dock (at the top of the map) to the elevator and will be coming through the entrance between the hospital/infirmary and the guard room. Though there has also been a lot of activity of guards heading to the rear entrance to near the stables))
((Yeah, I think Ava and Marrin (disguised as Jan) should head back to guard duty and continue their patrol. I'm not sure what Jan is going to do now? Is she going to try and get the ledger with K or what's the plan there? As for the Hargroves, just trying to keep out of sight from them, I'm sure they will be on the lookout.))
Ava, Marrin (looking like Jan), Soren and Geffroi head back out on to the route as guards, going south down towards the stables where they start to hear significant commotion and shouting. Arriving at the corridor that leads to the exit, they see a standoff. The corridor has about 10 prison guards in it. The door to the outside is partially open and a number of black armoured men, hints of some sort of red insignia on their chests, shout to be let in.
"You want in, the stables are right there," one guard shouts.
Is team guard sticking around or continuing on their way?
At the other side of the prison, as Jan (now looking like Marrin as Martha), moves with Ula, Hammerdasher, and Ethel around the perimeter corridor, they see the warden, along with the head of the prison guards, as well as two other guards by the elevator doors.
The elevator arrives at the doors, and they open. They open slowly enough for Ula, Hammerdasher, and Ethel, to step past the corridor heading towards the outside courtyard, and not be seen by the occupants of the elevator.
As Jan/Marta slows her step, she does get a look at three familiar faces in the elevator - the barrel chested, and barrel bellied, bald and bearded William Hargrove, the fiery red haired, dual longsword wearing Gillian Hargrove exit the elevator first, followed by the very pale, tall, bald, black robed Godrick Hargrove.
The warden greets them but the group can't make out the words from where they are. Jan/Marta can make out that clearly the Hargroves are being asked to hand over their weapons, the same as the dwarf team were asked to do when they arrived. The Hargroves don't appear to be resisting the request.
Godrick does look down the hallway and sees Jan/Marta but there's no indication of what he's thinking at the sight of a dwarf watching him.
For Jan/Marta to get up to the warden's office, the only route she knows is that of going through the Surveillance Hub in the middle of the prison, up the stairs of the tower, past the barracks and up to the next level where Avaria had heard the offices were. Is she heading for the surveillance hub now? As Marta?
Jarrin looks around at the rest of her guard crew, especially the more veteran guards to see what they want to do. If they want to move on with the patrol, they move on. If the veterans want to/have orders to join in the show of force she follows their lead.
She does ask those guards,
"This ever happened before?"
She gestures at the black guards trying to force their way in.
The shifter tries to see past the guards to the group to see if she can see anyone she knows, but can't tell by the commotion in front of her. Deciding that even if she is spotted, it isn't like she's a fugitive on the run from the law - she escaped a terrible experience and honestly, if she is spotted, she hopes the Hargroves go pale with fear.
These thoughts bolster Avaria and she stands tall with the guards, putting her hand on her weapon, ready to draw and looking like it.
As Marrin talks to the veteran guards, she can be convinced to move on, but she would rather stay here and keep these awful people out.
Avaria doesn't see anyone she recognizes among the black clad armoured people trying to push their way inside the prison. There's something about the red insignia that makes her think of the Emperor of the Waves (the undead infested ship). Is is a red hand?
One of the prison guards turns to Marrin/Jarrin and shakes their head.
"These lot are an entitled bunch of pricks." the guard says angrily. "We've got them for now. But if they decide to get violent about this it's going to get ugly. We can probably hold them here. It's a natural bottle neck but I don't like the idea of anyone on our side getting hurt."
Unless the real Jan indicates otherwise, the 'dwarf' team continues down the corridor, trying to decide where they can best observe the Hargroves. It's likely the Hargroves will be led to the same meeting room where Team Dwarf was taken when they first arrived - on the far western side of the prison. The dwarves find themselves in the corridor on the eastern side, near the entrance to the courtyard.
Continuing their patrol route will bring the 'guards' around that same corridor, allowing for the dwarves and guards to bump into each other again in that eastern corridor.
Lots of loud voices can still be heard from the southern entrance.
Jan will move through to close to the point where folks might not otherwise have cause to go, before going invisible and seeing to make her way up to the Warden's office. She has K with her, and is making use of their tremorsense to avoid encounters or interactions with other guards. She's not wearing her own face or appearance, if there is someone who is not that well liked by most of the guards that she's encountered enough to have picked up their voice, perhaps?

Jan will need some help or patience. The only entrance she knows is to go up the tower to get to the Warden's office. That requires first entering the Surveillance Hub in the center of the panopticon jail. The entrance there is through a closed door, that is always closed except for when guards are entering and exiting.
If she's trying to piggyback on guards coming and going she will need a Stealth roll (at disadvantage - as she will need to essentially be right on the heels of someone else). Though if she comes up with a plan with the others that could help her get through the doors and into the tower more seamlessly the Stealth roll would then be with advantage.
((Hmm... Could she have sent K to scout likely offices from the outside? Wide open windows are unlikely given the cold, but openable windows may provide access?))

K easily slips outside, choosing the doorway that is currently still open at the southern entrance. They fly quickly and discreetly above the troop of black clad soldiers outside. If counting was something that interested K, they could count them all but unless directed to do so, K dislikes the idea of counting. However, at a quick glance they can tell it would take awhile to do so, which Jan would understand to be at least two dozen.
Flying quickly upwards, complaints about the cold being delivered back to Jan along the way, as well as the wind, K circles the tower. At the first level, about 100' above the prison roof, where K (and Jan) know the guard barracks to be, there are mostly just removable glass covered arrow slits. K could likely push one of the glass covers inwards easily, but that was not the mission.
Continuing upwards, now 120' above the prison roof, they find the second floor has several actual windows;.
On the west side, there are several narrow windows which allow a clear view of the inside. Though they do not have any way to open from the outside.
A long, slightly curved table with eleven chairs takes up much of the room. The middle chair has no special adornments, while the others have banners hanging over their high backs, each one emblazoned with a crest, presumably of a different Lord or Lady. Banners hanging on the walls display a single emblem: a golden crown on a red field. The room has three doorways, one in the center, likely to the central staircase, and two more on the eastern wall.
Flying around to the eastern side of the tower, another set of narrow windows gives view to what appears to be a bedchamber. A large four posted bed dominates, a fire burns in a fire place, a large desk with bookshelves line one wall, and a large chest sits on its own. One doorway provides the only entrance or exit.
The other room, again with narrow windows, none of which look like they open, reveals a heavy desk standing in the middle of the room with parchment, quills, and ink at the ready. Five heavy wood cabinets line one wall opposite the doorway. Like the bedroom, there is only one doorway.
Not finding any access, K continues up the tower, arriving at the roof. The flat rooftop is 140 feet above the prison roof and 300 feet above the level of the lake. Three 6-foot-high walls to the north, southwest, and southeast provide limited cover, but much of the rooftop is exposed to the elements.
A lowerable wooden drawbridge stands raised near one of the exposed edges.
In the middle, down a short set of steps is a doorway, likely leading to the central staircase.
K huddles there out of the wind for a moment before heading back down to relay what they've seen to Jan.
((So stairs to a doorway down, where does the drawbridge connect to? Does it seem the doorway down connects to the a hallway if the bedroom and study only have one door to access them?))

((The rooftop is at least 20' above the level of the warden's office and bedroom. The short set of stairs down at the top likely just lead to the same curving set of stairs that run up the center of the entire tower. The door is still at least 15' above the warden's level. The drawbridge connects to nothing that K could see. There are no other towers, or pieces of land remotely close enough. The drawbridge would go straight out from the tower, maybe 15' at the most.))
