"The Doomvault... Probably full of unicorns and rainbows." -An imaginary quote
Gordon will continue to run forward (30 ft), and throws what appears to be a scimitar. If it hits, however, fiery handcuffs will lock around the mummy's hands. (the target takes an extra 2d6 fire damage, and it must succeed on a STR saving throw (DC:13) or be restrained for 1 minute. While restrained by the shackles, the target takes 2d6 fire damage at the start of each of its turns. The target can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, banishing the shackles on a success.)
Attack: 18 Damage: 9 plus 5 fire damage.

"The Doomvault... Probably full of unicorns and rainbows." -An imaginary quote
The apparent scimitar flies from Gordon's hand as he races toward the undead, and--it connects! While the mummy's jolt from the strike seems weakened, the magical shackles of fire that appear around him cause the moaning equivalent of a roar! The creature jerks and writhes furiously as it attempts to break free.
As the mummy continues flailing, it's clear that it is now bound by Gordon's magic. Numerous strips of cloth from its body begin to alight despite the bitterly cold wind, and the air quickly fills with the smell of burnt cloth and flesh.
The undead's moans are now loud and long; it is clear the accumulated damage is taking a toll on it.
By now the undead is completely alight, its flames dancing wildly in the wind as it is consumed by the fire. However, with a snap of it's head, it turns to glare at its closest opponent--Gordon. The fighter sees two points of light blaze from where the mummy's eyes should be, and feels an ominous dread threaten to overwhelm him.
ACTION: The mummy turns its Dreadful Glare onto Gordon, who must make a DC 11 Wisdom saving throw
Failure means Gordon becomes frightened until the end of the mummy's next turn. Failure by 5 or more means he is also paralyzed for the same duration.
As it glares, the mummy makes one final attempt at breaking free of its magical shackles.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
With it's longest roar yet, the mummy triumphantly steps forward, breaking its shackles and causing them--and the flames--to vanish in a flash. However, what used to be identifiable as an undead now looks more like smoldering animated charcoal as it resumes its movement.
*Thwip!* *Thwip!* *Thwip!*
Three more arrows fly from the treeline; Redoff tries to target one of the archers, but finds they've moved too quickly to get a bead on them. Those who were able to get a good look into the forest ahead, notice that the wind doesn't seem to be penetrating much past the treeline; it seems clear that they'd be safe from the biting wind if they could only make it there....
Darbakh has not yet advanced forward; he is still 150 feet from the treeline. Redoff and Evan are 30 feet in front of him. Whistler is 30 feet in front of those two, and ten feet off to the left. Aeron and Gordon are both 30 feet in front of Whistler. The mummy (now unrestrained) is 20 feet in front of those two. The treeline where the goblins are sniping from is still 40 feet behind the mummy.
(( Don't forget to continue making your DC 12 Constitution Saving Throws at the start of your turn to avoid 1d4 cold damage. Those who were unable to spot the goblins can try again with another DC 15 Perception check at the start of your turn--Aeron and Gordon get advantage on the roll. ))
As Evan continues racing across the clearing, he targets one of the goblins and again summons his eldritch energies. A magical bolt flies into the treeline, and the goblin who was peeking out from behind his tree doesn't even have time to react before the blast literally blows his head from his shoulders.
The laughter at the treeline stops, and after a second's pause, is replaced with howls, angry chatter and what can only be Goblin cursing.
Aeron moves forward, before using his channel divinity to turn undead. Mummy makes a wisdom save i believe
