Grimaldus dashes through the hallway and into the main temple room, greatsword at the ready. He was the big stick...maybe Luna would be the one to speak softly. (Move and dash to cover 60' towards the tiefling.)
As the sharran acolyte seeks a non-violent resolution, Luna reveals herself, gracefully stepping into the dark inner sanctum in all the glory of the Moonmaiden, her staff held in front of her and magical crown of stars shedding a brilliant starlight around her. "Then tell us quickly acolyte why your goddess has sequestered her sister in the Towers of Night. What does she seek by this move on the divine chess board?"The white-haired half-elven maiden asks in a commanding tone.

"The Nightbringer does as she wills, and rarely does she stoop to reveal her plans and purposes to her followers," she answers plainly as she averts her eyes to avoid the abrupt moonlight.
Then, with a bit of a sneer, she adds, "It seems I serve the Lady of Loss, but you serve the Lady who is lost."
The tiefling's answer seems truthful, but it is dripping with rancor.
"She doesn't reveal it to you, you mean." Katar corrects. The radiant elf steps into the hallway as he stands beside Luna, his white boots clinking on the stone floor. He crosses his arms in front of his chestplate, already looking behind her. "I do hate to waste time. Isn't there anyone more important we can talk to?"
Zephyryn takes the hit full in the chest, the force pushing him back a step and exploding the air from his lungs. He shakes his head, unhappy that his spell had not had the desired effect.
Moving into the moonlight, he frowns at the acolyte, taking a deep breath.
"To call for peace after such an attack is not honourable. If you do not wish to fight in the temple, I respect that, but request you step outside so we may continue", he says matter of factly. "I will allow you to find someone more senior first, so that they may talk to my friends and make arrangements for you".
From behind the full-faced and horned helmet, the group hears a chuckle at Zephyryn's matter-of-fact challenge to the acolyte. He follows this with a laughing comment to his new companion, "Don't be sore - she bested you that round! Besides, there is no honor in combat - only victory or defeat."
The tiefling is unable to disguise her annoyance with the party's presence in her temple, especially now that she realizes there is a total of four of you. "Charming. All of you are quite charming," she mutters sarcastically.
Then, with her arms folded across her chest, she approaches you slowly and says, "I am Sorcerer Priestess Avaza, and I am the highest authority here, the highest authority in Luskan for that matter. Yes, I sense your disappointment, dear intruders. Now, what can I do to assure your departure from here as quickly as possible?"
"If it is as you claim that you know nothing of your goddess' plans then you can start to try to apeace us by turning over the ones that plagued the city and attacked and defiled the temple of Selûne this night, and don't think we won't return the favor should you not comply." The white-haired half-elven maiden says with a cold voice, her blue eyes glaring at the priestess as she keeps following her to envelope her in the bright starlight from her crown.
"Plagued? Attacked? Defiled?" she responds in mild shock. "I know nothing of this."
Luna sees through Avaza's lie.
Avaza then motions toward the northern stairwell and says, "One of the temple monks is within the room at the top of the stairs. Allow me to bring him before us and determine if he knows anything."
She then turns away from the party and begins to walk toward the stairwell...
Grimaldus will attempt to step up next to the acolyte of Shar and hold her arm, just above her elbow, firmly with one hand. He will attempt to harm her - this is a controlling action to prevent her from darting away or completing any magic that requires somatic actions.
"Thank you, we can go and see him ourselves, you just stay where you are!" Luna says coldly and with a motion of her white staff the priestess is suddenly is caught in a starry net.
Moving forward as necessary and cast flavoured Web, Dex save 19 or be restrained
The Sorcerer Priestess makes it to the bottom of the stairwell but no farther, for she finds herself simultaneously locked in Grim's grip and restrained by Luna's web spell.
A stream of foul language--in Infernal--trickles from her mouth before she responds with resignation in Common. "So be it."
(Grim's arm, from the elbow down, is within the web, but he is not affected by the spell).
"Let's look upstairs then shall we gentlemen?" The white-haired half-elven maiden says with a quick smile, motioning for mighty Grim to take point again up the northern stairs, her winged boots carrying Luna after him and Zephryn.
Grim pulls his lower arm out of the web in one clean motion, tearing as little of the surrounding webbing as possible. "Be a good girl and sit tight...we'll be right back," he says to the priestess as he moves to the point position again. He will attempt to be quiet as he ascends the steps...
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Katar gives a soft laugh as he hears Grimaldus talk to Avaza like she's a misbehaved little girl. "She does have terrible manners." He says as if she didn't offer tea on their arrival, not hat she greeted them with magic missiles. He follows the others up the stairs, looking back at the priestess to make sure she hasn't escaped the restraining web.
Zephyryn passes Sorcerer Priestess Avaza and frowns.
"It seems we will be waiting to conclude our business. I am certain you have means of escaping, but I do hope you do not use them. We shan't be long I am sure", he says to her and takes up his position with the others.
As he moves, he whispers in Primordial and channels some magic through the Emblem on his shield, ensuring his own movement cannot be restricted.
With the frowning Sorcerer Priestess secured in the web, the four of you make your way up the stairs. There is no lock on the door, and upon opening it you behold a small, simply furnished room. There doesn't appear to be any other entrance to this room. Standing approximately 20' from the door, shoulder to shoulder, are two shadow monks, each with their shortswords drawn. They are trusting their invisibility will prevent them from being detected, but, of course, Grim's Devil Sight and Luna's true seeing have revealed the monks' secret.
The monks, unaware that they are seen, remain still and quiet, hoping the party will close the door and walk away...
"Don't think you can hide from the eyes of the moonmaiden." The otherworldly white-haired half-elven maiden says in a cold voice, uttering a soft word in celestial and unleashing four beams of moonlight from her staff in quick succession towards the shadowy servants of Shar.
Failing to detect that Luna is aware of their presence, the two shadow monks become easy targets for her. The gloomy little room blazes brightly with the light from four separate eldritch blasts which rip the remaining life from the monk they strike.
Moments later the room is engulfed in light as the second monk is struck by one of Luna's magical stars. The servant of Shar lives but the radiant damage has clearly taken its toll on him.
Grim, Katar, and Zephyryn may act in any order; the remaining wounded monk is approximately 20' from where everyone stands.
