As you move past the traps, you see the corridor take a turn to the right. On the left wall of the corridor, you see a mural of several wombats cavorting playfully in a field. You also see above your head, a trap door, probably the other end of the tunnel you found earlier.
Has an hour passed since our confrontation with the elementals? Pyroctopus will disappear after one hour. If he's still around, Fuego will send him ahead again to scout out the corridor.
Pyrotopus has another 20 min or so of time left, so he checks out the hallway. It curves back around to the southern before disappearing around another turn.
Fuegosees no traps, but he hears, from around the corner to the south, the sounds of animals snorting, snuffling, and grunting. They sound almost exactly like the wombats you encountered outside the village.
Resting sounds like a good idea... Andre would be more than happy to ritual-cast Alarm a ways in front of our camp and a ways behind it to make sure that if anything tries to sneak up on us we'll know ahead of time.

Unhappy that the market got rid of individual purchases for one-off subclasses, magic items, and monsters?
“Ok, let’s rest here, if you can set up an alarm. We need to figure out this idol, it is strange… Morty, can you have a look?” Marnoa sits down and takes it out.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
(Yeah... Andre could cast Detect Magic to try to get some general idea of if it's magical, but that's about it since he doesn't know Identify... even though it is on the Wizard spell list. I really should have known that we would need that spell... oh well).

Fuego peers into the dimness. "I spy, with my little eye..."
"Given the number so far I'd say anywhere between zero and Infinity" Morty says trying (and most likely falling) to be humorous
