Dark:

"By Angharradh, what is going on with them now?"  Leojym mumbles to himself before approaching his two dumbfounded party members.

Wisdom Save (if required): 15

Darnell

"Don't go over there!" Darnell cries. He stays back, himself.

Mara moves back as she sees this, stepping away from it until she is back with the halfing.

Leojym rushes to his compatriot's aid and feels the same numbing feeling as if something incredibly cold has just penetrated his mind. He slimps to the ground beside the other two.

Leojym:

While Darnell and Mara watch from a distance, the blackening eye seems to contort slightly, then there is an unexpected crack along the black visage as it seems to shatter. The 3x3 area of tiles then seems to rumble as it slowly begins to move, as if the tiles were wrapping around one another to create a cube.

(Will describe what is on the other side in a bit, but giving Mara and Darnell a chance to react first)

Darnell

Hands shaking, Darnell puts a bullet into his sling and starts swinging it in a circle above his head.

"Stay back!" he shouts at the...thing.

(Still on vacation but wanted to jump in for this)

Killian who has been standing towards the back sees the three fall to their knees, standing with Darnell and Mara. Dannel swinging the sling ready to attack. Killian starts to pull his magic from the air and create a firebolt in his hands to attack the cube like tiles after Darnell throws the bullet from the sling. 

Attack roll: 9

Damage roll: 7

The cubes complete curling up and they fall to the ground, showing a path behind where they were. There is a figure in the passageway.

Do you wish to use your readied actions to attack the figure?

Darnell

Darnell keeps his sling ready, but does not use it on the figure yet.

"And who are you?" he calls, voice shriller than intended.

Mara will ready herself for a fight as they see the figure, her hands moving so that she is ready to cast one of her spells. "If they seem hostile do not hold back Darnell...." She says to the halfling as she was not going to take any chances that they would be attacked.

Killian will stop his spell, and step in front of Mara and Darnell, “be ready to attack you two” as he walks past them he will call out to the figure, “we mean you no harm, we are not hostile but we are very capable if pushed. What do you want with us?

Intimidation: 7

Coming out from the gap in the wall is an old crone. She appears to be a human in her twilight years, her hair a ragged grey mess, and her eyes have a dullness to them, like one who has seen too much to be comfortable with. She is garbed in an old tatty grey dress, and seems to have a couple of bone rings on her outstretched hand.

"If you want to help your friends, bring them this way, quick!" She says with a withered tone, gesturing for the others to join her in the passage through the wall. "It won't be long before it  closes." She holds up a lantern, bullseye and lights it.

(I'm back from vacation now) 

Killian turns to Mara and Darnell, "seems better than just letting them sit there, I'll grab Leo, Darnel you grab Rumble, Mara you grab Dark let's see if we can pull them into the opening. If you need help with the big guy we can assist after we get the others inside."

Strength check to pull Leo into the opening. (Athletics and acrobatics are both +1)

With a strength of 10, Darnell can drag up to 300 pounds

Darnell does his best to drag Rumble.

As Darnell draws close to Rumble, the earth genasi begins to... sing? It's hard to tell as the he'll occasionally switch to the gruffer tones of primordial during the song. Either way, he doesn't fight being dragged, though Darnell will have to contend with a wandering hand touching his face.

Mara moves tomfollownas she watches the okd woman carefully, ready to cast if she does anything that seems like it will be hostile towards the party.

Rumble begins to slur unintelligibly as he is dragged into the opening in the wall. The old woman there gestures for them to hurry, her lantern light swinging slightly as she does so. (INT 1 is effectively brain dead)

Ahead, the group can see that there is a stone passageway, more refined and cut than that of the caverns the party previously went through. About 20 feet ahead, it begins to turn into a flight of stairs. "If you can get them to walk, this may be easier." She says. "We should leave before they begin to look for you." With that, she begins to lead the way towards the staircase.

After Killian quite easily pulls Leojym along for a distance (he is tall but very light), the dead-eye'd elf stumbles to his feet and begins trudging along mindlessly.

Killian holds onto Rumbles hand and guides him along directly behind the woman, "who is 'they' and why do you offer us any help?" Looking back at the rest to make sure everyone is following along without to much trouble. Catching eyes with Mara darting his eyes back and forth to the old lady giving her a look to keep a keen eye on her.
