Some of the group (Leojym, Mara) rush ahead towards the door, disregarding the need for stealth as they begin to try and open the door by moving the large iron bars. They feel they are too heavy to raise themselves.
The rest of the group attempts to go quietly together, but their cover is blown. The hulking form of the golem seems to acknowledge the group's attempt as it slowly turns and advances towards the group. They begin to work on raising the bar (note: there is only space for three people to be working effectively on forcing the door open). The crone rushes up behind it and attempts to strike its leg to get its attention, but it seems fixated on the group for now.
(We'll go into a pseudo-initiative state. It'll be party, then the golem. It's pretty slow, but looks very strong.)
INITIATIVE: ROUND 1
Darkwing Darnell Leojym Mara Rumble Simmeat
Gretta Hallens Crone
Golem
Scenario: The golem is around 30 feet away from the door. Leojym and Mara are at the door, while the others are about 10 feet away from it (20 feet from the golem). The crone is behind the golem, attempting to divert its attention.
As with the rest of the labyrinthine area, the ceiling is open to a dark stone gap higher than the ceiling in the grass room. However, you have been advised not to draw attention (which may include flying up and being seen by sentries).
All checks will need to be made based in initiative at this point. New rolls will be required.
After biting his tongue trying to call out to the others (those that rushed ahead), and then hearing the groan of the golem's turn to face them, Rumble shakes off the pain long enough to bark out for folks (namely Mara and Leogym) to step aside as he approached the door. Throwing both strength and buried rage into the effort, he will try to get it open.
"Don't... s'pose you.. wizards.. have any spells.. keep that /thing/.. occupied?" He asks during the effort.
(Since Mara, Leojym, and Dark are already attempting to open the door one of them will need to move out of the way for Rumble to take his spot. Since Dark has had his turn either Mara or Leojym will need to move out of the way to let Rumble step in, less his check be useless.)
Mara will move when she sees that Rumble is ready to try and get the door, she will move out of the way and look towards the golem. Since it already seems to be after them she will ready herself and cast a cantrip. She tries something different and cast Sacred Flame on the golem.
Killian sees the golem turn towards the group and Rumble give aid to the door, Mara casting a spell towards the golem. "Well this turned to shit, Rumble get that door open!" He says as he thinks about what he can do to slow down the golem.
( 16 initiative roll if you need it)

Mara moves out of the way to allow Rumble to use his unrelenting strength. Between the trio they manage to lift the first bar and slide it out of the way (one down, three to go).
The golem, a slow and lumbering creature, barely moves to avoid the sacred flame. Dexterity Saving Throw:15 The golem doesn't seem to dodge, but it is almost as if the divine fire just bounces off of its body.
Simmeat sees the great lumbering creature and panics, deciding that being hit by it would probably mean his death. He makes his way over to the door and faces the creature, prepared to Dodge if it should get close.

Seeing the sacred flame having seemingly no effect. "Shit shit shit shit....." he keeps saying, seeing the metal beast slowly trudging closer and the crone not having much luck herself he runs up to the golem and casts Shocking Grasp
Leojym uses his might to work alongside Dark and Rumble as the second bar slides out of the way. They then notice that behind it appears to be some sort of lock at chest-height made into the door (originally obscured by the metal bar. 2 bars down, 1 to go...)
Simmeat adopts a defensive position between the door and the golem, ready to evade any attacks that come his way.
Killian rushes forward and with lightning rippling through his hand, he reaches for the golem (for future purposes, it counts as wearing metal armour for the sake of Shocking Grasp). However, the spell falls short, incapable of running the current through the hulking golem's frame. Killian now realises that they, the caster, is now face-to-knee with the huge metallic monster.
(Darnell's player is currently away, so taking over) Darnell, seeing the lock, will attempt to squeeze through and reach up with the makeshift thieves' tools from the bone shards to try and trick the lock so it's ready to go as soon as the final bar is released. Thieves' Tools:22 There is a click noise, indicating the halfling managed to work his magical fingers.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
NPCs' TURNS
Gretta and Hallens seem to keep close to the group, Simmeat being an actual meat shield currently as they somewhat cower at the enormous golem ahead of them.
"What are you doing!?" The crone yells at Killian. She rushes forward and strikes at him and the golem with the staff. It is struck by a swift and powerful blow by the crone. Dexterity Saving Throw:9
The crone managed to sweep the leg, as the golem collapses backwards.
The golem stands up, then it returns its attention to the crone. There is a creaking noise as a blast of a poisonous cloud unleashed at her (and if Killian does not get knocked back, him too!) DC 16 Constitution Saving Throw, dealing 25 poison damage on a failure, or half as much on a successful one.
Crone's Constitution Saving Throw:5
The crone manages to resist the poison, but it doesn't look good.
Mara will fogo the stealth and run ahead towards the door, doing her best to be there in time with everyone else.
