"Don't touch anything else. This place looks like a crypt. See the slabs? Those look like urns to me. You want to bring the spirits down on us?" Simmeat says to Killian, backhanding him on the thigh to get his attention.

"Oh uh yeah, guess that would be bad, ghosts and spirits and such" Reacting to Sim's slap to the leg, "Lets get the hell outta here and get some distance between us and whatever is on the other side of that door, Orianna last chance to follow us out" Killian will call out to her again half knowing she has made up her mind to stay

With the decision not to touch anything, the group makes it to the next door. Pulling it open shows an intersection corridor, which all branch off into the darkness.
There is a KRA-KOOM that echoes from the way the group came from. Sounds like Orianna's held it off for as long as she can.
(Just so people know, I've deactivated Orianna from the campaign for the meantime. She is currently in status: MIA.)
Hearing this sound Mara will look back and decide whether or not to even bother telling the others to run as it should be obvious that they should do so.
Before it descends into darkness, the corridor splits into three branches (left, centre, right). They all look near-identical, with the old stone style of the initial corridor.
"Let's take this path." Simmeat says, indicating the path that leads more in the direction that the "newer" segment of the tiles was in the previous room.

Killian follows Mara down the hall to the intersection, his heart beating fast, heavy breathing he asks "Uh Left... Right... Keep going straight I can't see anything else beyond here."

Based on Simmeat's deductions, the left turn is the wanted turning.
The group heads left down the passage, their light keeping central to the group as they hurry down the hallway. The group can hear the methodical marching of something heavy thudding and echoing from the way they came.
(Can I get an Athletics check from everyone as they run down this hallway)
After the short escapade in the other room and hearing the final boom of the creature, Rumble trailed behind the others in the fringes of whatever light they had going so far. Every now and then, he glances back to see if Orianna was catching up; only to look forward with this conflicted look about him. "Y-yea, whatever. But one of yaw'll hit the light again?" He asks tersely.
Simmeat pants as he runs down the hallway, completely unused to this kind of cardiovascular activity. His tiny little legs pump as fast as they can, but he is already out of breath and heaving.
The group follows the trailing corridor this way and that for several long minutes, the THUD noises getting somewhat quieter as they sprint. Ahead they see that there is a great brass gate at the end of the tunnel, beyond which seems to be into more caves.
(Those who rolled less than 15 on the Athletics check take 1 point of exhaustion)
Killian reaches the gate checking to see if it is locked in anyway and if it has any signs or markings on it that would give him clues as to which way they were going.
Investigation4
OOC: Yup its a gate, pulling on it as it is a push gate, yup its locked HAHA
Though he had half a mind to try barging straight through the gate, Rumble slowed with the rest to join in the search for any signs of getting through. Or, at the very least, make it easier for them to break through using a bit 'ol elbow grease.
This gate appears to be large and ornate, with thick brass bars blocking passage. There are twisting pieces of the metal that depict floral patterns. The gate appears to be locked with a large brass padlock.
For Darkwing:
The padlock appears to be superficial. Based on how it is attached it does not provide any method of locking the gates together. There is, however, is a smaller lock on the actual gates. It looks like it could be picked with some base skill, or perhaps broken with some excessive force.

Used to such runs from his time in the army, Darnell is barely breathing hard.
"Is it locked?" he asks, not able to see the door with all of the taller people blocking it.
"Hmm..." he continues, "if it is, I could unlock it, but I'd need something like a lockpick."
And that's all I have to say about that.
