Oreus manages to clear the curtain and move around Tyris flawlessly, attacking the skulk with his greave and then reversing the strike hit him again with the shaft.

Oreus continues to rotate his glaive, attacking the foe in front of him, both with the point and with the rear of the glaive, willing to knock him down without killing it.

To keep things running a little more smoothly. Initiative order is a little more flexible than normal. If there is only 1 type of enemy those with a higher initiative can act whenever then the monster(s) then the whole party can act.
"That door leads down a flight of stairs and a tunnel, we didn't do so much exploring the last time we were here, more concerned about getting out with our hides intact"
Oreus searches the dead skulk and finds a rapier, a light crossbow/20 bolts, a dark clock, and a potion of healing engraved with the seal of St. Cuthbert.
Keygan comes over to Alben and thanks him and all if the group.
"Thank you all for helping me, but these horrible creatures are holding my familiar, Starbrow captive and forcing me to help them, by threatening him. They are keeping him starved and someplace dark. He is afraid!!!.
They forced me to give them 3 different sized skeleton keys that can open almost every lock in the city. They come in two different sizes "tall ones", like that over there. And "short ones". The tall one cone and go at all hours in groups of 2 or 3, and leave the shop wearing dark cloaks. Their gray skin can change color to match their surroundings. The short ones are sinister creatures with pallid skin and soft black hooves for feet. They both speak a language I don't understand. If they have a leader I haven't seen him.
They seem to have reclaimed the old gnome fortress Jzadirune, which was was abandoned 75 years ago after some sort of magical plague call "The Vanishing". The disease caused several of Jzadirune's residents to slowly fade away into nothingness. I have been the guardian of the fortress for the last 20 years after my uncle died. I have never been down to the fortress. About a month ago a couple of short ones came out of the secret door there and took Starbrow. Since then they come and go, and I pretend not to see them bringing people down there. What happens to them after that I don't want to know.
My uncle said that Jzadirune's doors are pear-shaped and designed to roll yo one side or the other. Many of them bore traps that only the gnomes of Jzadirune could safely bypass. I have a map of the fortress upstairs, I can give you if you promise to save Starbrow."
Laladak listens to Keygan's story and is moved, "I'll take care of it old man." He turns to the group. "Anyone else think this might be connected to the missing kids? I don't know about you but I think we have to head in there now. I don't think we have alot of time."
Tyris' eyes furrow as he listens to Keygen. "How are they keeping your familiar captive? I can't say I have any personal experience in the area, but from what I've heard I thought familiars could be dismissed and resummoned?
He nods at Laladak's statement. "Seems like the logical connection that if they're taking people through the secret tunnels, and people are disappearing, that the two are probably related.
Keygan replies to Tyris "Starbrow is a rather special familiar. He was a normal rat here in my shop, one day when I was preparing to summon my familiar for the first time, Starbrow became inhabited by the Rat Spirit. Since he is normal rat I can't dismiss him and summon him at will. He has become more important to me than any familiar should be. He is like my twin soul. Please rescue him."

The Skulk is looking kind of ragged, but ready to continue the fight.
Everyone except for Laladak acts before he does in initiative. Good luck.

Oreus' last attack leaves the skulk teetering. The next blow should put him down or out.
Tyris smoothly nocks and launches another arrow at the skulk.
Attack: 9 Damage: 7
The skulk never recovered from landing on the BB's and died, not really sure what happened to him.
Laladak looks around, "That's it? The way you guys were talking it sounded like there were more."
I got alot a doods
Oreus wanted to interrogate him but an arrow pierced him and killed him.
He looks at the sky and then back at whom with a bow: it was his old friend Tyris.
He doesn't know if it is the case to get angry at him but in the end the paladin decides to be above that.
"Poor pawn, he cannot talk anymore, let's see if he has something that can talk for him"
And so goes to inspect his belongings.
Then at the locksmith:
"come on, man, how many persons should we expect?! We wanna free you, remember?!"
(Arrows aren't the best weapon for subduing people :P)

"Thank You, young man. I'll be back in a moment". So saying Keygan heads upstairs. About 5 minutes later he comes back down and hands Laladak a map.
