Paxalim pulls out a wooden chisel and carved a few quick marks in the haft of Oreus’s glaive, whereupon light begins to glow from the blade, emitting bright light for five feet and dim for five more.
"Allright, let's do this; where are those goblins? What have you seen the first time you were below there?"
To answer this question, as I don't think any of the players will. The last time the party came down here, Shadow started walking east (note that west is down where south normally is) until he got to D14. In D14 he caught a unseen tripwire that sounded a alarm. Over the next 5 rounds a lot of goblins poured out of the doors at D11 and D8. These goblins were armed with Morning Stars and Javelins. Also six Goblin Sneaks (first level Rouges) started coming in from the south, but the fifth or sixth round they had made the big room to the south as a stronghold. Another three Sneaks came out at the door at D3. The Sneaks are armed with Shortswords and Crossbows. The party got divided into two groups, with Oreus and Shadow battling goblins in the small room ti the north (D11). There are at least two more rooms through the door at A12 (which I realized I should have used that map which is newer than the one I actually used. In that map the hallway is on the K column instead of the D column.). Rellahne, Vuntuk, and Irena (she disappeared fairly early in the Encounter) were trying to deal with the Sneaks in the southern room. After about eight rounds (by that time roughly 50% of the Goblin's were dead) the party was pretty beat up and decided to retreat.
“Perhaps we should avoid what you’ve seen thus far. The enemy may be on high alert still.”
Pax reaches into his bag and pulls out a thin, metallic bracelet attached to a rod, and slides a wooden token into a slot on the bracelet. Those who look closely might see an icon on the emblem of a group of small stick figures surrounded by a bubble.
Pax holds the rod in the same hand as his bracelet, and nods to the others. “I believe I’m prepared to help keep things on a level playing field if another attack were to happen.”
Vonnir stands in line, greataxe at the ready to hack of any goblin heads that come in his path, he already feels the rage building up of the goblins that attacked his hometown. He will let the other's workout were they will be going, as he is new to the group, and also, hasn't been with a group of people for a long while.

Oreus briefly recounts what happened in the dungeon, with a piece of paper, writing down a sketch of what he remembers:"
Paxalim, Vonnir, see: we killed many goblins but many others we left alive and we had the sensation that there is an entire flock of them down there.
Moreover, that really is a confusing dungeon and we have been attacked from the front and the rear: we were in trouble at that point."
Then he passes to describe the rooms:
"The corridor is a nasty business because there were plenty of goblins throwing javelins while there was space to fight only one by one in melee. The big room on the right we don't know where it leads, the small room on the left neither but me and Shadow are sure there were also other goblins trying to brake in (from A12)"
"So I think that what we can do, once we enter, is: go quickly to a defendable point: we could skate all together in that little room (B8/C10) and seek for goblins from that door (A12) until we are sure that, at least from westward, there is no goblin left alive. Only at that point we can turn back and face the next step. What do you think, does it make sense?"
Oreus offers tea and his proudly baked biscuits to everyone before leaving to the bathhouse.
ooc: Oreus's description is on the first pages, could you please describe the outlook of your character briefly?
Paxalim is a high elf’s high elf: long, smooth, shimmering blonde hair, a thin frame and androgynous face with long ears pointing high on a height of about 5’11”. He dresses like he thinks an adventurer is supposed to look like, with a leather breastplate that nearly glistens from all the buffing, but his gloves are soft and thin. He wears shoes instead of boots, which are pointed and delicate, looking more like a performer’s than for mucking about in cellars and tunnels full of goblin tripe.
His belt is one of the few items of function that look used. He tries to hide it beneath a cape, but he’s got several large hip pockets on a belt which hold a number of small tool boxes. There are weapons he carries openly on his back but they don’t look like they’ve ever been used. They’re like show pieces.
His demeanor is… refined? But not necessarily pleasant.
Vonnir is a 4'6'' Mountain dwarf; you can clearly see he is a strong an durable fighter, but also quite lean. He has brown eyes and hair and wears a variety clothes, but all are clearly self made from animal skins. He hasn't been around people a lot, so might sometimes be a bit unused to humanoid behavior; living in the wilds for such a long time. But once he did live in a society of some kind for many years, as he is 89 years old. Finally he is a fighter that uses his inner rage to fend of his enemies, he fought many a beast in the last 2 years and his experience has made him able to take quite a lot of damage, especially when his rage comes out and his spirit fights with him to protect.

Vuntuk is regarding Paxalim with a good portion of scepticism and responds to his warnings.
"Ha! If those damn goblins wahnt ta come back for ah second round, don't ya worry, mah Urgrosh is waiting for 'em. Ah few of us unlucky bastards don't share ya soft skin and can protect ya, am ah right Vonnir?'
Paxalim looks decidedly annoyed at first but seems to think better of it and smiles. “Well, I’m just glad you’re ready. I’ve not gone an adventure like this in quite some time.”
Wasnt there something we thought we discovered about the bottom of the map? it maybe being a chapel or something and no goblins where coming from there? maybe we go check that out first and if its clear and possibly defendable we have a place to retreat to and secure just in case? Then it seemed like most of the enemies were coming as reinforcements from the very top (east? the map is weird with north not being the top :P) so i think we go up to the top of the hallway, maybe just checking that room oreus and i were holed up in on the way.

Shadow decides to lead the party west first looking for a possible retreat point. The first doorway is to the south (right). Looking in you see...
Four stone pillars support the ceiling of this square room. Half of the southwest pillar has broken away and collapsed into a heap of rubble. Rows of one-inch-diameter holes are bored into the walls, and a few contain splinters of wood. Across the room you see a closed door.
Do you enter the room and investigate the closed door or continue west to the next room to the north?
Shadow leads the party to the end of the hallway. There is a closed door to the north, he opens it to reveal...
Four pillars support the ceiling of this room, each pillar carved to resemble a dwarf warrior clad in full plate armor. At the far end of the room stands a decapitated seven-foot-tall statue, its stony hands raising a massive warhammer. The statue probably represents a dwarf, but its head is nowhere to be seen. An ornate stone brazier stands before the altar. The walls are carved with bas-reliefs of dwarf artisans at work, but they have been defiled with excrement and crudely painted images of goblins stabbing the dwarves in the back with spears. There appears to be a closed door, that is barely visible from where you stand in the doorway. That door leads east.
Vuntuk (possibly Vonnir as well, you don't have a faith listed) recognizes that headless statue as being Moradin. This appears to be a chapel dedicated to Moradin, however it appears that the goblins have defiled the chapel.
Let’s check that door to the east and see where it leads, it’s a good sign this room is clear, we want to find a defensible location to fall back to if needed .
