We'll just do the standard rolling double the dice, just because the dice roller is set up that way. Where possible I will provide an additional effect or advantage for the party.
Looking into the cave you can see green glowing moss that provides dim light (disadvantage on perception checks that rely on sight).
You can't see any movement and the croaking seems to have stopped. The cavern has a 10ft wide stream coming out of a hole in the wall and flowing out of the cave forming the waterfall.
Grimbald scouts ahead. Sees the next cave which is lit with dim light from green glowing moss on the walls. A stagnant pool of water fills a corner to Grimbald's right (a ripple indicates something living in it) and near it there is a small cage on a ledge on the wall with some winged creatures enclosed inside. A thick patch of multi-coloured fungi grows atop a pile of offal near the middle of the cave. Two bullywugs crouch in the shadows towards the back of the cave, watching the cave entrance. Like the bullywugs you saw out front they wear poorly fitting armour made from leather and carry spears.
Grimbald detects movement where something lurks just out of sight on the tunnel to the left and the tunnel straight ahead. Probably more bullywugs.
The dwarf ranger is detected, the bullywugs in the cave croak out warnings and threats. They seem to be holding little sticks in one hand and their spears in the other.
Grimbald waits for the rest of the party to come back him up, otherwise he looks like he might retreat.
The only cover is around the corner of the first cave, because of the river Stryke and Grimbald are both taking cover in the same area.
Stryke's thorn whip missed, but Grimbald's crossbow bolt found its mark. Its... hunters mark. :) The bullywug lets out a croak of distress (funny how you are starting to differentiate the different croaks) and is bloodied.
Grimbald and Stryke have taken their actions. Steve gave me permission to run his character so Augustin runs into the room, yelling furiously, charging at one of the bullywugs, his sword poisoned to swing.
The bullywug he is charging raises the small stick he is carrying to his lips, which looks like a hollow pipe. The bullywug blows through the pipe and a globule of liquid flies out.
The bullywug drops its blowpipe and ducks out of the way of Augustin's swing. The other bullywug backs away rather than attacking, its spear in one hand and blowpipe in the other.
There are two bullywugs in the room, and probably two more waiting around corners. One bullywug is bloodied.
Augustin is the only one in the room, Stryke and Grimbald are around the corner of the first cave. Vakiel is on the ledge with Esa next to him. Vakiel and Esa can act now if they so choose.
Esa will fly in and position herself behind Augustin and cast from over his shoulder, and cast Chromatic Orb at the one who isn't bloodied. Attack: 13 Damage: 14 (first time using the dice roller on PC so I hope this works), and I'll make it lightning damage
Esa hovers at the top of the ledge, waiting for the others to join her while keeping an eye out for anyone emerging from the cavern.
Stryke joins Esa, I will watch the tunnel if you watch the other way?

Esa agrees to this and hovers a little higher to give her a better view of the surrounding area while she waits for the rest of the party impatiently.

But the globule of sticky liquid splats on his chest. It doesn't seem to have any effect however, and Augustin completes his attack.

As Vakiel runs in the bullywug who hasn't fired its blowpipe raises the weapon to its lips and shoots at the barbarian.
Vakiel tries to dodge the viscous glob. 3
Less than a second later Esa's chromatic orb engulfs the bullywug in a sphere of lightning and it dies quickly.
Vakiel's swing chops into the already injured bullywug's body and it crumples to the ground.
Vakiel also has a glob of this goo on his chest armour.
Two other bullywugs step out from behind the tunnel corners and one uses its blowpipe at Esa.
Esa makes a dex save with advantage because she's flying and small.
