To Sildar : 'I fear that your friend may already be lost if he was investigating around the manor. It seems these redbrands are causing alot of trouble and another wizard encroaching on the black spiders turf would have seen him taken out quickly lest there true activies be discovered.
We have a few leads for this castle and rest assured we will find Gundren and bring him back alive.
To the party: Your right titus there are too many connections between what happened to gundren and this band of thugs. If we can cut the head off this snake now, we should take the opportunity to do so. We will set things right. what time should we meet at the outskirts of the alderleaf farm? I think capturing the thug guarding the back door is our best chance of taking them out, he can give us a layout of the base and tell us what kind of fight we have on our hands, how many guards there are, if they have any pets or traps waiting for us.

'I must admit that I'm not used to fighting as a team, I have always dealt with problems on my own. That being said I would like to let you know how I plan to fight when we clash with the redbrands and get your input on our best stategy fighting together. In the goblin cave we seemed to fight quite well together and I feel that I can trust you all enough to tell you what I can do.
For our fight tonight i plan to send 10 minutes before we enter the cave casting detect magic a ritual as our adversary is a wizard I'd like to know about any magical traps he may have placed before we stumble upon them. This means it won't affect my spell casting later on. When we first start fighting if the enemy isn't too great I plan to throw the magically imbued stones that were so effective in the goblin caves but if Kargan gets into trouble or we find ourselves up against either a very strong foe or a lot of foes at once I am confident I can shape shift into the Dire wolf again and assist Kargan on the front lines so that both Titus and eedim can fight from afar.
If the situation calls for it I also have a couple of spells prepared for battle. A spell to calm animals, a spell to entangle our foes, a spell to create a cloud of fog should we need it and of course a healing spell just in case.
As you talk among yourselves making plans for the forthcoming raid on the Redbrands Manor hideout, a young boy with a proud and serious look on his face runs up. He tugs a forelock and says, "Beggin' your pardons sirs but Master Hallwinter requests your presence at the Townmasters hall when convan...convena..convenient!"He strugles with that last words but finished eventually with a look of surprise and pride on his face.

He describes the mage as quite short for a human, about five foot three, having a thick voluminous dark beard and a nick missing from his left ear. Sildar tells you that he lost the piece of his ear fighting goblins a few years ago on Lords Alliance business up north.
"He is a good agent, smart, motivated, and loyal, I hope you find him alive. But from what I am hearing about this 'Glassstaff' I suspect the worst."
He opens a small chest on the desk in front of you and takes out two vials with a viscous red fluid in them. "This should help, if it comesto blows, as these things often do."
I follow Titus towards the outskirts of town ’here Titus take one of these, just incase...’ I hold out one of the potions then continue to follow his lead
I will act as the bait if you guys like, i will pretend to be walking through the woods and hold his attention on me so that you guys can get the jump on him to knock him out.
You all make your way to the Alderleaf farm and head to the woods over mossy foundations of the old ruined stone walls. Moving into the woods and along the game path shown to you by carp the day before.
