Looking for a game that fits within your tight schedule? Well, I've got the one for you! Recruiting 5-6 players for a Play-By-Post game on my discord server. Stats will be rolled in Discord. PHB Races only. The party will start at Level 3. Once selected, you will receive a discord link which will have the campaign information and details of your adventure.

1. Musashi 2. Blue Dragonborn 3. "Monk"-really leaning in on RP for a "Muay Thai" type Martial Art as opposed to more stereotypical "fantasy monks" 4. To become "The Mugen Bahamut" (backstory): basically reach Enlightenment through being at the top (think Omega level character) 5. Chaotic Neutral
Male human wizard (school of conjuration), chaotic good
Rhadamanthus sees himself as an agent of progress, wandering the land in search of long lost knowledge in the hope of using it to improve society as a whole. He'd take interest in any quest if he senses an opportunity to rediscover some ancient secrets. It should be noted, however, that his pragmatic mind often favors solutions that some would find morally objectionable, such as summoning demons to aid in construction labor.

Purpose or Reason to Quest: As a child, during his first hunting trip deep into the forest of his home region, his father was killed by a venomous snake, leaving Bruin alone in the unfamiliar wilderness. He quickly learned the laws of the wild, surviving for a week before he finally found his way back to his village. His sudden return when they assumed him to be dead, as well as his feral appearance and behavior, led the townspeople to suspect him of being a fey trickster or demon. They accused Bruin of killing his father and the "real" him, and chased him from the town. He spent several years in the wilderness before finding and joining a band of mercenaries. Bruin now wanders from town to town, looking for work.
Purpose or Reason to Quest: Zane grew up on a farm and developed his fighting skills helping his best friend defend the nearby halfling village from constant threats. Everything changed one Autumn when his friend was killed, the halflings suddenly moved their village, and his family decided to sell the farm and move to the city. After helping with his mother and uncle get settled in their new home, he set out on his own looking for work doing odd jobs, unsure as to his direction in life.
Purpose or Reason to Quest: Born to a family of great magical power and renown, Trill was destined to be the heir to a magocracy. When he developed an an ancient cursed malady, he was exiled by his clan and now wanders searching for a cure before the demonic curse consumes his soul.
Alignment: Neutral Good

Purpose or Reason to Quest: The Mother Mountain was the cradle of the dwarven clan Canarius, and it was Toryk's entire world for many years. Whatever troubles plagued the luckless folk of the Outside World could not touch his people within the stoney deep. Yet the deep had troubles of its own and they soon gripped the young dwarf.
The mines ran dry. The food grew meager. A withering plague consumed the weak. All these troubles would undoubtedly pass in time, but survival demanded sacrifice, and so it was decreed that many dwarves were to be sent from the Mountain to seek their fortune elsewhere until circumstances improved.
Toryk, son of Taryk the Stout, was trained in the art of rune carving, but he was not as skilled as his brothers. His father said he was not useful enough to remain, so the young dwarf was packed up and pushed out of the mountain. Now Toryk seeks to better himself, earn a good living, and return as a hero to his struggling clan.
I have been gaming off and on for more than 35 years (more off than in). Interested in getting back and PbP seems a good way to ease back in given my life schedule. Here is what I am thinking:

3. Paladin (oath of vengeance)
4. My mother was a developmentally challenged human who was sexually assaulted by a gang of orc. I am the result of that attack. My mother would not given me up and raised me the best she could. Several years ago, human villagers blamed me for vandalism and destruction in the village. My mother refused to turn me over. She died when the villagers torched my home. I escaped. It is my sacred duty to protect the weak and defenseless.
Purpose or Reason to Quest: Jessiva (goes by Jessi) is an abnormal rogue. She's not a traditional assassin or thief or sneak. Rather, she's spent most of her life studying the anatomy of humanoids and monsters, focusing on the weaknesses (hence the rogue/assassin abilities) and the types of poisons created from/used against specific creatures. She wants to adventure to learn conduct further studies on creature weaknesses and poisons.
Alignment: CG
