Paladin kneels and gestures to the symbol of the Silver Flame on his head. 

"I swear on my honor, that's what happened. We just happened to be at the right place, a little too late." 

Someone shouts from a window, "Glad you're here, officers! Get it over with!"

Everything is under control, now! The Watch is here, go back to sleep!

"So you were attacked by this warforged, uhn? I see that two of you are hurt" he gestures to R4G3 and Bryn, fixing his eyes on R4G3 with a look between the distrustful and the curious. "You don't look good..., sir, you might want to stop by a Jorasco enclave to get that sorted." With that, he crosses his arms and asks for you all to show some ID and state your names for the officer behind him.

Bryn pulls out his ID - not his real one, but the identity he usually assumed here in Sharn - Bryn Stafford, half-elf merchant and entertainer - and shows the guards. "Thank you, officers." he says quietly as they check his papers.

R4G3 lowers his hands and points at his wrist as means to identify themselves. Attached to their forearm plating is a slate that reads, “R4G3”, and he shrugs.

The female police officer checks and holds the ID and documents that have been presented, clearly waiting for her next orders.

The dwarf shouts to the two other officers, "The murder should have some weapon, look for it, hurry, I want to move out from this rain still today if you don´t mind!" Then, he turns and takes one step toward R4G3 with his eyes fixed on him. And even though he is less than half his size, the officer in all his robes and insignias has a presence as imposing as his gaze from below. "Where are your papers, my boy? You seem to be far from home! What brought you to Upper City?

Brother Coltinar comments, "Here are my papers sir.  The warforge are under my tutelage and protection.  I can vouch for them personally, sir.  My temple has asked me to help reintroduce them back into society after the long war."

"Arr, perhaps you dropped your papers somewhere or misplaced them along the way.  Do not worry we will figure it out and get new ones, if needed."

Brother Coltinar looks through his stuff in case he forgot to give them to Arr.

“Why would these paper identify us better than something that is part of us?” R4G3 asks genuinely surprised, and picks up their pack to sift through it in hopes to produce the papers that are required of them.

"Because it's in keeping with the law to have such papers. Laws that help each of us to enact justice and to be shielded under its umbrella, as well. If you have no papers, you are just as easily a nothing. No one. Only miscreants benefit from such a status." Paladin nods approvingly to the officer

Braxiel hands his ID linking him to the university, he will look at the dwarf giving all these commands untrusting.

 R4G3 digs through your package and finds nothing that looks like a document. In fact, they have no idea what they are looking for, because they don´t even know what a document should look like.

Brother Coltinar adds, "Paladin is correct for the most part, Arr.  While not having papers makes life a challenge for you in the city it doesn't mean you are nothing though.  The ID is a means for the authorities to quickly verify you are who you claim to be.  In case you were trying to be someone else, and your papers didn't match that.  The watch is responsible for checking these things.  That should help you understand the need for ID, Arr. "

"Perhaps the watch can escort us as we move towards the University or Jorasco enclave to help with Arr's injuries.  The assassin can be handed over to the watch for their investigation.  We would like to assist possibly, if the group is interested."

"Exactly!" He says as shifts his gaze towards Paladin and Coltinar. "Do you know this citizen?" The officer asks both. And he looks back at R4G3: "Are you a citizen of Sharn, my boy?"

Braxiel approaches untrustful to show his ID and realizes that the officers are from Sharn's Watch.

At that moment, you see a light approaching the bridge. It's a Skycoach with the Sharn's Watch crest and two more officers appear.

One of them addresses the dwarf. "Good evening, Lieutenant Dolom, we received your call. Whom should we take?"

“I… don’t… know,” stammers R4G3 in response to the first officer. “How… how would I know? I’ve always been here… as far as my memory works that is.”

"Officer, my friend here is a bit strange, but many veterans can say the same. He's a fine man, and... His origins are a bit nebulous, I admit, but he's got everything a citizen of Sharon should, despite some misplaced papers." 

Paladin seems on a roll for talking, like he's about to just ramble for the next hour at the least bit of encouragement.

Brother Coltinar, "Sir, as a Priest of the Light you should know we shine light on corrupiton and would not abide by lawlessness.  Arr is with me and has been a good friend for some time now living here.  I'm sure his papers must be misplaced or lost.  I ask that you allow him to remain with us under my responsibility.  We will attend to getting new papers for him at the government building.  They'll have his paperwork there.  Your work here has been very good."

Rylia had been going to grab the bag she saw amongst the assassin's belongings.  But she thought better of it as the watch arrived and simply let it stay put. 

At the request for her papers, she digs them out of a pocket, a bit wrinkled, and hands them over.
