"Well then... prepare yourselves to be wet..."says the druid as he closes his eyes and calls forth the power of the rivers once more. As the water washes over the burning ceiling more parts of it fall down to the hall. "Well, I think that' should do it" says a now completely wet elf.
The rush of Magic water runs over the ceiling. The flames of the ceiling are extinguished as it comes in contact with the water, hissing and evaporating some of it before getting overwhelmed by the wave. Cracking sound is heard as some of the burnt wooden pieces of the ceiling are broken off by the force of the water and fall down to the wet carpet below. The cold water pours down from the ceiling, now effected by gravity and falls on the party in the form of a flash of heavy rain, drenching everyone but otherwise not doing any harm. Where the fire was is now a hole that shows part of the stairs leading from the 1st floor to the 2nd
Deva climbs the stairs. Both the left and right stairs leading up from the 10ft balcony seem to connect together to a small platform and then a larger set of stairs lead from that to the 2nd floor. Sadly, it seems the platform has been burnt away by the fire, leaving in it's place, a hole that drops down to the wet carpet of the first floor.
Crude "Map" To show how the rooms connect. Does not indicate actual distance between rooms.:
Devarus looks between the gap and the next stairs over, and mulls things over for a bit before finally giving up with a muttered curse under his breath. "While I'm sure it would be amusing to see me try to stick a landing, I don't suppose some of you have a better means to get to the next floor that the rest of us might be able to ride on your proverbial coattails, as it were?" He called down to the others with a hopeful look in his eyes.

"I don't know. I feel as if it might run into a similar problem as my grappling hook. But, if you wish to give it a shot." Devarus trails off there to unlatch his rope, and toss it down when Valwaryn seemed ready or in need of it. In the meantime he tries to stay on alert for any of teh tall tale sounds of metal boots and shifting metal that might suggest an armored patrol being on their way to the area.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
While Devarius is trying to localize any more of the animated armors, Valwaryn ties the rope to one of the arrows and he aims for the other side of the hole whit the rest of the rope at his feet.
Firing arrow: 18
The arrow, due to the rope attached to it, flips in the air and doesn't hit anything. With a sigh, the elf recovers it and tries again.
The shot was a tricky one and Val's first arrow fails. However, due to the nature of this plan the elf could simply keep trying until he succeed. Success didn't take very long to come as the second arrow hits its mark. The arrow sticks to the wall. However will it be able to hold the weight of someone climbing or swinging on it? It... seems a little iffy.
"Hold this for me will you? " he says to his friend "Just make sure it stays tense but do not pull too much. Anyone has another rope? Thanks" he said when they give it to him.
With that, the elf shifted to the form of a mouse and, with the help of Elsara, he climbed up to the rope and walked over it to cross the gap. Once in the other side, he turned back to his elf form and looked for a good place to tie the rope.
Once that was done, he threw the other one towards the rest, so they could tie it on their part and use one to put their feet and the other to grab with their hands and so cross the hole.
Rat-Val climbs the rope held tight by Runt. Before long he goes past the hole and on to the second floor. He takes the arrow out of the wall and steps on to the second floor proper, mostly because there's a handle next to the third floor stairs which would provide the perfect place to tie the ropes and also that the stairs that connected the second floor to the first is now a bit precarious due to the large hole that was burned in the middle of it. When he does step on to the second floor though, rats begin pouring out from the walls and form two sizable swarms of rats on either side.
Valwaryn makes a disgusted gesture and moves to put the rats between him and the hole ( if possible). Then he opens his arms wide and slaps. A thunder can be heard instead of a slap and the magical energy hit the rats with force.
( Thunderwave lvl 2. CON 15 or suffer: 12 thunder damage and be pushed 10 ft away from Val. On a success only half that damage and no pushed, hopefully they fall the hole )
(Oh I missed that. Well in that case Val Will move to F4 and will hold his action until a swarm appears on G5 and then release the spell. That should do it )

Bump. What are you going to do about the hole in the stairs?

Deva keeps an ear out for the sound of heavy boots. Though he does not hear anything troubling nearby.
Alright back to the hole issue. Whatever you decide to do, do and I'll let you know how it goes.
