The two horrible hands of Ring Undead can't jump high enough and hit the barbarian only on the massive thighs, bouncing as if against a rock, but the head, with a sudden jerk, points to Ilwythe's neck... who only by raising the shoulder with a reflex movement avoids the worst. The bite on the shoulder hurts a little, but the worst is that the barbarian feels some of his life being sucked away.

Meanwhile, Barakor continues to growl, eager to join the fight, but this time obeying what his mistress has asked of him and Snakehairs Undead approaches, positioning himself patiently behind Ganshing Undead.. of which only the straight claw remains. ..

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Clas stands firm, his shield poised as a protective bulwark against the looming threat (OOC: protection for first person within 5ft who is hit by a critical, so long as I can see the attacking creature). As the situation unfolds and attacking with his trusty longsword Ale becomes less viable, he doesn't hesitate to adapt. Swiftly, he sheathes his sword with a practiced motion, seamlessly drawing a hand axe from his side. His movements are efficient and determined, a testament to his combat expertise.
With a quick, focused gaze on the adversary known as the Gnashing Undead, Clas calculates his move. He draws his arm back and releases the hand axe with precision, aiming squarely for the right hand of the creature. Ale Attack: 6 Damage: 9
As the hand axe sails through the air, Clas's thoughts turn humorous, a mental chuckle echoing in his mind. "I'm going to need more hand axes. Hahahaha!" he muses, a wry acknowledgment of the unpredictable nature of their adventure.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Never underestimate the power of a finely crafted barrel, my friend! It is both a vessel of strength and a symbol of resilience.
Nim reaches his free hand forward and presses it against Ardana’s back and hums a calming tune. Doing this sends a warm tingling sensation along his arm and into Ary’s back, spreading quickly throughout her whole body. Nim’s cure wounds spell works wonders and the steady flow of deep red blood seeping through the cracks in her armour ceases.
(OOC: Cure wounds roll 4 + 4 for 8pts of healing for Ardana.)
Nim’s stature slumps slightly and he seems out of breath.
”I hope this goes well, I don’t think I have the energy to cast any more spells of this magnitude today.
Gnashing Undead's hand tries to avoid Clas's thrown handaxe in a desperate leap, but her blade catches it in midair, splitting it in two. The weapon rolls down the stairs along with shreds of rotten flesh. Gnashing Undead is no more.
Nim's magical cures to Ardana seem to visibly revive our heroine.
Ilwythe meanwhile directs his attention (and his handaxes) against the head of Ring Undead, of which he has already had experienced the bite - an experience that he would prefer not to repeat.
Ring Undead's head tries to duck, but the barbarian's first blow hits its temple, slowing it down enough for the second blow, coming from the opposite direction, to hit as well!
Now the floating head is disfigured by two nasty cuts in the rotten flesh… it hasn't fallen off yet, but it's visibly battered.
The press of bodies around the staircase entrance and the larger body of the shapeshifter Daisy make any hope of additional shortbow shots questionable to Tarysaa's mind. Uncertainty with a target is the same as a miss in her mind. Stowing her bow, she pulls forth her rune covered staff and stands ready to assist (if and when possible).
While those who cannot attack other enemies prepare for when they approach, Ardana swings his greatsword and strikes Ring Undead square in the forehead, whose reflexes are perhaps slowed by the two blows Ilwythe has just suffered. The floating head splits open with a disgusting noise (and smell), then falls onto the steps and rolls down.
But the undead's two hands still remain determined to fight and they leap at one at Ardana and one at Ilwythe, locking fists at the last moment.
Left Fist strikes Ardana with inhuman force in the solar plexus and not even the armor, while cushioning the blow, manages to stop it completely. The paladin quickly catches her breath to continue the fight.
Righ Fist is less precise and even if the violence of the blow makes the barbarian stagger, he is hit on the abs which he tensed seeing the blow coming and the incredible resistance of his body does the rest - the punch falls to the ground without causing serious damage consequences.
Snakehairs Undead arrives, thirsty for blood, but Daisy is ready to receive it and she bites him on the head, near her ear, leaving it comically dangling, attached to a thin strip of rotten flesh.
Despite the cover provided by the angle, the Left Fist, with an unlikely arc path, manages to hit the transformed heroine in the side, on the ribs, while the rest of the bites and scratches of the undead are avoided by the agile altered beast.
Now Round 7 starts! All characters can act! Any order!
Elated both by the fact that Ring Undead is now reduced to just his hands, and because Snakehairs Undead, even if it has arrived, has focused on Daisy, Ilwythe makes his handaxes dance, trying to eliminate the residual claws of the headless undead.
Round 5
