She focuses on the room; trying to take it all in at once in the hopes of seeing 'something' that would give a clue OR confirm Ardana and Clas' theory.
It is difficult to discern details well, given the distance and the imperfect reflection; nevertheless, Tarysaa acute elven eyes can spot something purple behind the low wall! One or more of the so coveted purple flags, most likely!
Nim squints hard at the mirror at the other side of the room and struggles to see.
”Hmm I can make out something vaguely purple I think. Let me try to get it.”
Nim tries to lodge the polished armour against the gap in the walls so it shows the object and (if it works) moves the hand awkwardly using the reflection the grab what lies behind it and bring it back to Clas.
Nim has only a very vague idea of the location of the purple objects... but with Tarysaa's patient guidance ("Further to the right... No, more to the left now... I said left, Nim! Further down now, further down... Right... No, a little less than that... Left...") in the end the hand manages to grab something...
...and when the 'something' comes to you, you see it's a flag, very similar to the Yellow Kylth's Flag you already own, only purple in color. And this too, once held, burns with a flame without heat like the yellow ones...
Do you intend to invest some time and continue with the maneuver until you recover all the available flags?
Well... it's a task that requires time and patience, but since you lack neither... in the course of about 40 minutes you manage to recover 4 Purple Kylth's Flags - and you are reasonably convinced that there are none left behind the wall.
So much for the so intimidating nine squares!
(OOC: I'd say Nim and Clas can get Inspiration for the accomplished feat - I do not remember if you have it already... if yes, it does not stack, so ignore what I said).
"Oh well done nimm. I do think we should explore more on this level before we descend. There was that door in the northern corridor along with all those near us now. Maybe we call it a day after this exploration. I can open doors in case there are more flaming spheres I still have resistance to fire."
Hahahaha! Ardana, let’s press on, and get as far as we can before we must rest. Time is of the essence, mostly time to drink ale, but still essential! Hahahaha!

Never underestimate the power of a finely crafted barrel, my friend! It is both a vessel of strength and a symbol of resilience.
Tarysaa looks at the party, "I suppose we can keep exploring for a while. HOWEVER, we can not afford to have Clas or anyone else die in these traps. I believe going slow and being cautious should be the rule from here on out." ** Stares with emphasis at Clas and Nimblestep **
Hahahaha! Nim and I have been nothing but cautiously adventurous! Hahahaha! Come on! Let’s head for the stairs and see what else this place holds for us. Why retrace our steps now? Onwards! Hahahaha!

Nim’s excitement and curiosity at what lies below peaks, yet is at odds with the diminished state of the party and the danger of carrying on without more provisions or rest.
”Well… we did promise Lady Martha we’d get this done in time. Perhaps we should carry on cautiously and see what lies below. If we run into anything dangerous we can retreat quickly and take a proper rest before trying again. Who here is the moray adept at spotting and disarming traps? I believe you should take the lead.”
(OOC: If the party heads down the stairs with the newly acquired purple flags Nim will carefully inspect the halls and then the first room they come across for danger. Rolling now as I will be busy. Perception roll for halls/stairs = 8 Perception roll for room = 7 )
Tarysaa recalls what Elky, the illusionary greeter, stated not long ago...
Remember that each yellow flag can protect up to eight people who hold hands, as long as at least one of them is holding the flag. And don't tell a wrong password... if at the last moment you have a memory lapse, look at the keeper on his forehead and the word will come back to you for sure. It is just a single word, after all... Oh, and If you are headed to the prison itself, at Level 3, remember to also get a purple flag, before going down. Once in the other alcove, remember the old saying: 'Leave loneliness, later; remember lore, really! And be constant'.
"We do have the purple flags now, however, I believe our time would be better spent exploring the rooms on this level first rather than the prison below. We can always take a good rest before going even DEEPER into this chaos of a maze. What say you all?"
(DM: While the others took the 40 min working at retrieving the flags would it have been possible for Daisy to take a short rest?)
"Good job,!"Daisy offers those that worked at getting the purple flags. "I have to say I had my doubts."
Daisy rises from the corner where she was keeping an eye out to make sure nothing was following. "I would really like to get this over as soon as possible - not only for Martha's sake, but my Gare is getting further away." The dwarf is clearly doing her best in fighting the urge not to just leave the group to their own devises and find her way after her missing husband.
"If the figures in the purple flag room are images of the prisoners below, perhaps one of them holds the key to Dobbian's revival, so we must free one of them? We would know more if we can find more of the mage's papers somewhere in this maze."
Hahahaha! It never hurts to discuss options, but let’s go. We can learn more just by jumping into it! Best way to know a barrel is to get in it! Best way to know an ale… drink it! Hahahaha! Clas heads for the stairs, presumably with those who have agreed with him in pressing on, Nim, Daisy and the wolf. I’ve heard too many stories about slick stairs with spiked pits at the bottom. I’m tying a rope around all of us, mostly so there’s enough of you to keep me from slipping to my death! Hahahaha!

Ardana turns to Tarysaa "It seems like we are outvoted, let's follow and rescue them when the boys step into more than they can deal with."
Tarysaa sighs and nods agreement with Ardana. "Boys will be boys, I suppose."
"Clas, if you will allow me, I can try one of my little fire 'sparks' to clear out some of that webbing... IF it behaves like normal spider webbing, that is."
Tarysaa attempts to fire off her Fire Bolt cantrip and watches as it sputters and sparks as it leaves her fingers. [ Fire Bolt to hit: 7 Dmg: 2 ]
Seeing such an abysmal failure in a basic cantrip, she tenses up and fire off a rapid succession of bolts... all spilling down the stairs like a shower of shoddy fireworks... none with the results she had hoped.

Tarysaa lets loose a string of elven curse words.. which come out sounding very elegant and fluid... followed by a hissing shout, "It is a BASIC cantrip, for Mystra's sake! Why is it not functioning properly?" Her body as tight as a bowstring, she turns to look at her companions' faces. Some are looking owl eyed at her. Clas ever has his mirth filled expression. None can lock eyes with her as she drops her head in embarrassment and failure. "I am sorry my friends. While I learned so much at Silverymoon, as you can see, my practical use is lacking."
(( OOC: I had hopes of at least ONE good hit & a solid dmg roll since >> A flammable object hit by this spell ignites if it isn't being worn or carried. ))

Hahahaha! Unless we want to all be holding hands in one long string of barreled kippers. Let’s get as many as we can. Good job you two! Hahahaha!
