The wolf this time is hit in the face by one of the desperate, almost random blows of the animated armor. The force of the impact blasts him backwards, where he collapses to the ground, bleeding from his head. Might he still be alive? For sure, he is out of the fight, for now.
Quite Glossy, seeing the beast fall, does not scruple to trample it with its own shod boots and, from its new position, tries to punch Daisy; maybe it's its way to say her 'thanks you' for the enchanted stone just received!
"Great work, Ilwythe!" Clas exclaims. With admiration he turns towards Ilwythe, a smile of camaraderie on his face. Clas' tone taking a slightly more serious note but his smile never ceasing. "Keep an eye out for any more of these baddies sneaking out from that fog."
With a firm pat on Ilwythe's shoulder, Clas pivots his attention to a small rock wall to the east. Curiosity piqued; he moves over to search. His steps are purposeful. "Let's see what we've got here," he mumbles to himself, examining the wall, his fingers tracing the rough surface.

Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Never underestimate the power of a finely crafted barrel, my friend! It is both a vessel of strength and a symbol of resilience.
Clas immediately finds some small flags of yellow fabric, with the usual crest embroidered (the symbol of two wolves facing each other on opposite sides of a horse with particularly elongated legs). The flags were simply propped up behind the low wall, not hidden... There are four of them.
Since finding them is so easy that it doesn't require a real action, Clas can at this point also do something else with his action of the turn (like pick up the small flags - if he dares to do it - or move or... whatever you can usually do with an action)
OK, Ilwythe has a free hand at the moment, so he catches the flag in mid air... and the barbarian and the warrior see that a flame, equivalent in brightness to a torch, springs forth from the flag. The effect looks like a regular flame, but it creates no heat!
But Clas needs to (at least temporarily) put away either the sword or the shield, if he wants to carry the other flags... (All of them, by the way, behave the same: as soon as Clas decides wich hand to free and takes them, they all become non-burnig-flame-torch-flags).
Another thing Clas notes, rushing into the fog, is that the fog there is no more!
(OOC: For him there is no more... All the characters outside the room keep seeing the fog as usual)
Seeing the suit of armor swinging away at other members of the party, she mutters 'Haalvut' as she drops to her knees at the armor's feet; reaches out and touches the animated armor.
SHOCKING GRASP (( rolled with advatage AND having to use the bardic inspiration )): TOUCHED: 19 Dmg: 2 lightning
also, >> the target can not take reactions until the start of its next turn.
Tarysaa then twists and rolls away in a disengage move to put distance between herself and sharp metal being swing about.
"No!"Daisy shouts as the wolf falls. However, with her cry, comes a sound more beastial.
The dwarf lets loose a roar and goes down on all four. Daisy's shape begins to change. Her limbs and torso expand and grow, gaining a coat of messy fur, much like the color of the mane of brown hair the she has atop her head. Hands and feet become paws ending in claws built for raking. A snout soon protrudes from her face tipped with a round, black nose. Below that emerges a snarling maw filled with teeth ready to shread.
A large brown bear is snarling at the suit of armor that took swing at Daisy. The bear strikes out with a swipe her claws and then a bite to remove the shiny armor standing atop Barakor.
Seeing an ally fall, even if not a humanoid one, inflames the tiefling paladin, who with a devastating slash at the waist hits Missing Scales in full. The heavy blade shatters the metal at the point of impact and the self-moving armor finally disintegrates into a pile of scrap metal that clatters across the mosaic surface.
Meanwhile, Tarys manages to touch Quite Glossy with a hand charged with electricity and a sinister sizzle is heard as the animated armor is shot through and a few scales melt. The metallic opponent seems to stagger in confusion and the elf wizard takes the opportunity to get away.
Daisy, at the same time, releases the beast she has inside and begins to bite and scratch the unfortunate armor. The metal screeches from the brutal treatment, but resists for the moment.
Ilwythe reappears from the room... The barbarian holds his rapier in one hand and a small flag of yellow fabric in the other. The flag shows the usual embroidered crest (the symbol of two wolves facing each other on opposite sides of a horse with particularly elongated legs) and seems to burn like a torch, with a flame that springs forth. Not lost in explanation at the moment, Ilwythe kicks away some remains of Missing Scales and attacks Quite Glossy with a lunge to its back.
Quite Glossy doesn't even see her blow coming which, with unexpected power, crosses her scales from side to side, first on her back and then also on her chest. Without a cry and without emotion, her armor collapses in on itself with a clang of wreckage.
(OOC: End of combat! Gratz! You are victorious! You can act out of turns now. Just remember that Barakor is still on the floor in a pool of his own blood...)
Missing Scales ends up attacking 2 (1 = Ardana, 2 = Barakor, 3 = Nimblestep)
