Unfortunately for the guardian, Clas isn't taken by surprise: Barrel is quickly lowered and all that the self-moving armor manages to cause is a loud thud.
Missing Scales, seeing the sudden end of Dented Helmet, tries to slam Ardana's arm, perhaps hoping to prevent her from using her fearsome weapon.
The animated armor actually manages to strike while the paladin is bringing the Greatsword back to the guard position, after her lethal blow. Her blow numbs her arm for a few moments, but by gritting her teeth the paladin pushes back the pain and puts herself on guard again.
Barakor then tries in turn to attack Missing Scales while it is busy hitting Ardana! The feral fangs snap towards the armor's arm!
Missing Scales has just landed her blow on Ardana's arm, that Barakor savagely bites the armored arm! The entire forearm guard is ripped off and, in the rush, the self-moving armor is dragged to the ground (OOC: Missing Scale is prone now).
Quite Glossy then steps forward and tries to kick the wolf away.
"Nice try!" Clas exclaims with a hearty chuckle. Clas turns to Ilwythe with a wink and a grin. Then, without missing a beat, Clas shifts his focus back to the fight. Gripping Ale firmly, he follows his instincts and goes with what he knows best. He swings Ale towards the enemy, tried and true. Hahahaha!
Ale attack 9 Tried and untrue! Hahahaha!

Never underestimate the power of a finely crafted barrel, my friend! It is both a vessel of strength and a symbol of resilience.
Ale is an excellent weapon, but also the armor that opposes it is of good quality... This time the edge of the blade can't cause more than a long scratch on the scales of the self-moving armor.
The agile halfling exploits the ability to strike from above towards below to exploit its full weight - and thus manages to penetrate the curtain of scales, damaging several of them. By now even this self-moving armor seems almost useless...
Now Round 5 starts! Ardana and Ilwythe are up! Any order.
The greatsword crashes heavily on poor Missing Scales, but the animated armor manages to turn and the metal, hit at a too wide angle, deflects the blow.
Now Ilwythe, Tarysaa and Daisy are up! (I did forget Dented Helmet was dead, sorry). Any order.
Entry #820 >>> Seeing the orb splash against the armour; metal showing signs of bubbling and smoke arising from the acid/metal interaction, Tarysaa steps 10 ft to the south to clear the path for Nim and anyone else coming down the stairs.
If Tarysaa still has a line of sight on "Quite Glossy," she will speak the words and gesture to create a frigid beam of blue-white light which will streak toward QG.
Ray of Frost >> Ranged Attack: 17 >> 5 cold damage, and QG's speed is reduced by 10 feet until the start of Tarysaa's next turn.
"Keep up the pressure and press the attacks! We have no idea how many more animated guardians are lurking in the mists!"
Tarysaa has indeed line of sight on Quite Glossy, but the need to avoid hitting the many allies in the fray makes it really difficult for the elf wizard to aim... so the frigid beam of blue-white light only grazes the fine armor, with no practical effect (OOC: Remember you have Bardic Inspiration, Tarysaa... You can add 1d6 to an attack roll you make, even once you see what you have rolled - if I still did not declare it a miss or a hit. So, you know that with a 17 you barely miss... Next time you roll a 17... you can use your bardic Inspiration and add 1d6 to the roll, if you like. You might turn a miss into a hit).
Daisy blesses another handful of stones. Unable to to get a good shot at the one on the ground, Daisy takes aim at the shiny suit of armor. "Looks like this one just came from the smithy!"
(Move: Step one space to south. BA: Magic Stone. Action: Throw stone at Qg - 22 to hit, 6 damage.)
Quite Glossy, apparently confused by the large number of opponents, turns towards the dwarf (did it understand what she said? Or did it just react to the noise?) and receives the enchanted stone that she threw at it right in the chest! Some scales twist and others fall off, due to the force of the magic-enhanced impact.
Ilwythe, in the meantime, hoping to score the decisive blow and close this sub-fight, tries to uproot the last scales with powerful rapier lunges.
Using the sharp point of his weapon with savage determination, the barbarian manages to shear off enough scales to render the armor completely useless. The guardian collapses to the ground with a clang, in a cascade of ruined pieces.
Just as the guardian falls, Missing Scales (by now, the name Missing Many Scales would be more appropriate) rises, swinging its right arm wildly now at one enemy, now at the other.
