Kalhala nods at Berkarak's words and after saying good luck to the former prisoners, he follows Berkarak to the southern passage, but looks a bit confused. "Wouldn't it be easier to see what's down there if we actually walked down there?"
Berkarak lets out a belly laugh and then catches himself, whispering, "Fair point, friend. I'm not as spry as I was in my younger days when I got up in the face of monsters and showed them what-what," and on each "what" he shadow-boxes at Kalhala. "Go on, I'll blast any threats with deadly magic... from behind you." Berkarak puts a hand on Kalhala's shoulder as he passes and casts Guidance on him, in case he can use the blessing from his patron in the next minute.
Grymar has been quiet, walking along, taking point when needed or 2nd in the marching order, at times putting his hand on the walls, closing his eyes, as if the very stone could speak to him. He sees all of the bundles, the boxes, the makeshift signs of an encampment, an invading force. He closes his eyes, imagining this as a bustling town, dwarves walking here and there, no cluttered passages, no cobbled together cages. He walks along, occasionally murmuring or laughing at a joke that only he and bees know. He gets to the room with the pool and he walks over to it, using his walking stick to stir the top of it, absentmindedly. He sees the others head to the tight southern passage, he lingers for a moment, then follows them.

Lehmani begins following the others towards the southern passage but lingers a moment when she sees Grymar stirring the water. She holds where she is and quietly addresses Gyrmar to get his attention, trying to mask the concern in her voice about what he might stir up in that water."Grymar..."
As he starts following, Lehmani hangs back to address him. "Are you alright? For a moment, you seemed... somewhere else."

Grymar looks up and gives a half smile to Lehmani. “I dunno. Buncha stuff mixed up in my noggin. This place, I canna put my finger on it. It’s like it is deep in my bones, somethin stirrin.” He kicks a small stone, looking back at the water and walking up to Lehmani, a confused look on his face. He scratches his beard and the top of his head. “I feel like this place is speakin’ direckly to me. My family and friends all think I’m nutterz, just cause they can’t hear the sounds and meaning behind my bee frienz, the beetle, or even the unspoken language of the lowly ant. I think they’re fascinatin. And for the last 20 or 30 odd years would much rather be outside, walking through a forest than in such a place. But after what we’ve just observed…. I dunno. This place… it speaks to me.” If it were possible for his face to flush, you think it would, but the ruddy appearance of his skin and his bearded, hirsute face hides any changes that could be occurring, he hurries along, wanting to see what the others are up to, uncomfortable with the most “sharing” that he’s done in at least 50 years…
Kalhala pats Berk on the back as he shadow-boxes him and laughs. "Now that's the spirit! Looks to me as though you're as spry as they come!"he tells Berk amicably, then turns and heads down the tunnel, listening for anything that isn't them as they go.
Perception 2 (nat 1, he's still laughing with Berk to notice anything)
Berkarak - The uneven passage jinks back and forth and you can't see much beyond Kalhala's large frame. You do notice a smell that gets stronger the further you go, it reminds you of... incense? The passage ends in a small opening that allows you some room to get a better look at your surroundings. You happen notice a seam in the eastern wall, indicating a secret door of some sort.
Grymar - The dark water in the murky pool swishes as you stir it. You see yourself reflected in the surface, stretching and compressing as the water ripples.
Kalhala - The passage is a tight fit for you and as you take care not to scrape your weapons on the walls, you fail to notice the spider web in front of you. It envelops your face completely and you feel something scurrying across your neck that turns out to be a plum-sized spider.
Lehmani places a friendly hand on Grymar's shoulder and gives him a smile. "Then, in many ways, these filth-strewn orc-spoiled halls are something of a homecoming for both of us. I'm glad we're both here to help liberate these hallowed halls. Whether they sing our song or not one day, at least the lot of us can go to our graves knowing the great good you've done for your ancestors."
She gives his shoulder one more hearty squeeze then pushes on, following the others until she sees them clustering in the narrow passage. Then, she stops and calls out. "What are we seeing in there, friends? Dead end?"

(edit to add: in response to Lehmani asking if it is a dead end)
"It would seem so, but take a look at this," Berkarak whispers, running his hand down the seam in the wall. "A little secret passage, perhaps? I smell incense. Perhaps this is a chapel of some kind?" He mumbles some words to himself with his hand on his chest and tries to find a way to open the door. (Investigation + Guidance 13+3 for 16) If successful, he tries to quietly open it a crack and peer in to see what might be going on. (Stealth 7)
Berkarak - The secret door pivots open to reveal a narrow passage of finished stonework. The passage ends in a room that is cluttered with crude furnishings, and the air is hazy with the smoke of a small brazier burning various aromatics. Dozens of yellowed skulls are suspended from the ceiling by fraying ropes strung through holes punched in the bone. To the north is a door with a key sticking out of its keyhole.
"GAH!!! It's a spider, a spider! I canna see it and I feel it and my face and axe are caught up....yeccck!!" Kalhala overreacts to his find and makes way too much noise over a plum-sized spider.
Finally removing the web from his face, he looks with wide-eyed panic to each of you, "Is it gone? is the spider gone?"
He then realizes his friends are actually busy doing something and he follows them through the secret door. His mouth hangs agape at the skulls hanging from the ceiling. "What in the hells?"
Lehmani - The spider nimbly leaps from Kalhala and onto the wall before scurrying away. Kalhala manages to dodge the flame as well though that being more a product of his frantic overreaction than actually trying.
“Whaaaa. What manner o foulness is this. Doesn’t smell right, I tell ya…” He claps his hand on Kalhalla, “Or is that me? Hah!” He walks forward, down the passageway and into the room, saying mostly to himself “Everyone loves their own brand, don’t they.” He walks into the room and looks at the desk, checks the bed and the bedside table, looking for clues.

Grymar - In a jumble of sacks next to the bed, you find two greasy leather pouches, both containing 160sp each. You also find three flasks of Alchemist's Fire on the desk.
Lehmani - The moment you press your ear to the door, you're startled by the sound of Grymar suddenly breaking wind next to you. Between the incense and flatulence, the aroma in the room is beginning to make you feel a bit light-headed.
