"Yeah, perhaps, this isn't the most pressing issue at hand. Let's first finish our exploration of this place. It wouldn't serve to get all worked up and then be ambushed by a couple of jellies when we are tired." argues Tryn when he hears of Rayce's discovery of another set of doors. "Who knows, perhaps one of these hidden hallways leads to the other side anyway." Then he approaches the door at the Northern side of the room.

Sorry, I'm beginning to enter a vacation period and while I will try to check-in at least daily, I cannot promise that I will always be able to do so. From September 1, I should be back to normal.
There is a chamber with 3 stone bed frames behind this secret floor. and nothing more of interests other that other doors, that open up to a tunnel which connects to the main altar chamber. After securing The place you feel safe to conduct rubble removal. Work takes you about 9 hours and it is getting dark outside. Within that time you cleared the rubble enough to reach chamber behind it. (there is a pause for eating included in that time so please remove 1 of your rations). You may benefit from a Short rest in that tie if anyone needs it.
You enter a chamber with two alcoves. An alcove in the south wall holds the rubble of a shattered statue. An alcove to the north holds a statue of a dwarf with horns, which stares greedily at a glowing green gem in its hands.

(Tryn has 6 rations left. Sorry, I'll post Tryn's actions for like half an hour in game time. If anything happens before he arrives to the end, please simply disregard what would have followed.)
Tryn's lights up when they are finally able to pass through the half collapsed hallway and arrive into the new chamber. Hungrily, he wolves down a ration and readily starts to cast Detect Magic as a ritual, "To me this chamber smells like magic, traps and treasure."
If nothing reveals itself, he will look for traps and secret doors (Perception: 9) and if he can't find any, he will use the Wand of Secrets to make sure he didn't miss anything.

“I agee, I’m not too sure about touching this gem. Might be better to leave it to the dwarves to choose”. Goraseth will start to look around for any signs of traps.
Tryncaryn detects magic coming from Statue with glowing gem. Upon concentrating on it he sees a magic aura other than any he studied. It is hard to identify it but if he had to call it somehow it would seem somewhat alike to some combination of Abjuration and Evocation magic. Definitely looks like a doing of someone or something else than your typical spellcaster.
Goraseth upon thorough investigation feels like a place is entirely safe.

“No traps here it seems. Still my gut feeling tells me to leave the gems for the two dwarves. We’ve done our job, we could report to them, have a good night sleep and leave early morning.” Goraseth’s stomach makew large noise, confirming it is time to set up the camp.
Tryncaryn explains his findings to the best of his abilities (see spoiler above) and warns against touching or manipulating the gems. “I think Goraseth is right. These are best left untouched or left in the care of someone who understands the implications. I think there is powerful magic at work.”

Tharanau agrees with the others. "It was hard work and I had hoped for some exciting treasures. But if you two are already too scared to touch this statue and gem, I am not going anywhere near it." "Let's go outside and tell the dwarves. Then we can have a rest. With Rayce saying that the dragon has been seen more often, we should make sure the escape plane for the people can be executed. It's our job to do the preparations."
So you set the camp for the night. Dwarves are thankful to you and give you a pair of sending stones. You can benefit from long rest. After the night you can decide where to go next.

Tryn advises the dwarves about the statue and the gemstone in the back of the temple and reminds them that the ruin is in poor condition. Several hallways have collapsed and surely the presence of the jellies didn't help matters. That said, there is always the chance that there would come more, he warns.

"I have heard of the old fortress of Axeholm nearby. Perhaps that should be the next place we go. If the dragon attacks all the people around here could use a place of refuge. And i think i heard talk of a reward when o passed through town."
Tharanau nods in agreement:"Yes, Axeholm is our next destination. I really hope we get there in time. Then we would like to return to Phandalin, we have started the process to acquire our own homestead that can be used as a base for our explorations. After that there'll still be a few errands to run, as laid out on the job board. Yes, there will be a compensation for our troubles. It would be nice if you stayed with us, Rayce!"
You wake up a little later than usual, after all you were throwing rocks almost all day yesterday. It is still early when you get on your way. After a 2 hours stroll you see the base of the mountain. Thrust out from the base of a dark gray mountain is the entrance to the dwarven fortress — a dark, fifteen-foot-wide passageway flanked by forty-foot-high bulwarks of smooth, seamless stone. An iron portcullis covered with rust blocks the entrance. Arrow slits carved into the bulwarks are dark, revealing no hint of occupation.

--- before leaving, during the evening. around the camp, Goraseth would have ask a few questions to the dwarves. Do they know anything about Axeholm ? -- He would also question a little bit the new member of the team. "Rayce, you do not look like the usual wizard, no spellbook. How did you learn to master the arcane magic ?"
Once arriving to the fortress, Goraseth asks his companions how they want to go forward. "I know some of you prefer to be subtle and I understand this."
Dwarves know about Axeholm. They were of course interested in that place as well, but in Dwarven tales Axeholm is cursed. It is cursed by the presence of a ghost who brings other beings to the undead life. It's origin lies in times when Axeholm was inhabited by dwarves and The now cursed spirit was originally an elf who was spiteful against dwarves and died trying to do them ill. His antipathy of dwarves could not be extinguish by death, and his relentless in harming dwarves even after death eventually lead dwarves to leave this cursed place.

"I would like that as well. You three have done more for the people here than anyone and i would like to see you succeed. So i offer my help if you will have it. The people here deserve better than loosing their homes and perhaps their lives to this dragon. But you say you plan to acquire a homestead? That sounds marvelous! How are you going about doing that and where is it?"
Responding to Goraseth.
"There are many ways to magic as I am sure a holy warrior such as yourself is aware. I have traveled far and i met a teacher of such things. While i am no arcane scholar, i have managed to pick up some spells. What of yourself? Are you a priest of the platinum dragon, does he grant you some of his powers? What brought you to these lands?"
Since the party has taken her in she will let them know that she has 14 rations with her since she came well supplied from Neverwinter and is happy to share.
Rayce is worried about confronting undead she has few powers that are useful against such creatures. She searches her memories and her time reading books either in Neverwinter or in the Djinn's library for ways to fight ghosts and other undead.
"Progo thinks undead shouldn't to to hard. They died once, they can do it again."
"Perhaps the dwarves woukd like to accompany up to Axeholm. We clear the place, they get their ancient scholarly knowledge or whatever they hope to find in such places. Progo would not mind a second sponsor for explorations, especially if We were gonna do it anyways!"
@ Rayce: Goraseth proudly holds his pendant in the palm of his hand. “Yes, I am following Bahamut precepts. I am not a priest per se, but more like one of her champion. I don’t know why I was chosen. I like to think she saw in me a fearless warrior that would grow into one of hier lieutenants.” In his hand, the amulet shines a faint silver light “Her power does flows through me and I can heal the hurt and bane the evil.” He replace his pendant around his neck. “I will show you in time.”He adds with a large smile, showing white sharp teeth.
To the group he explains: "If undead it is, Bahamut's power might help."

Rayce mostly encourages the people digging but doesn't actually do much work herself and takes time to rest.
Once we are through she goes back to her regular tactics trying to stick to the shadows and using an illusion for distraction.
She has a copy of Progo mime taking the gem.
Once it is safe she helps in looking around.
