"No treasure?! What good are these orcs anyway? A good orc is a dead orc, I always say." she deadpans, as she retrieves her arrows from the dead corpses. "Let's go back and explore further into this cave ... those human prisoners mentioned a very large ogre, and possibly more captive villagers as well. My arrows are rather enjoying getting polished with orc blood!" Luthien says, while pointing back into the cave.
Luthien walks back across the bridge (Acrobatics check): 17
"I think we should have one you stealthy like folks go take a peek and report back on which way looks best. All I'm going to do is make a bunch of noise."

Halfer Niblefingers lvl 5 Rogue - A War with No End
Started in 82 and played until the early 90's. Migrated to dial up BBS and played pbp.
Played: D&D, Gamma World, MERP, Star Wars, Star Trek
OOC: Daaaaaaang, I was naturally stealthy by not checking the posts all day, and look what Bjorn does! Out stealths the stealthy ninja Luthien. Well done!
Luthien's stealth roll: 18
And with that, Luthien and Bjorn are two ghosts...
Haphazard stacks of crates, barrels, sacks, and bundles crowd this long cavern. To the north, two finished stone passageways open to the east and west; a narrower opening leads south. In the southeast corner is an old well full of murky water.
This cavern is full of what looks to be plunder from the orcs. Where or how they got all of this stuff is not known. There's foodstuffs, ale, blankets, tools, timber, pitch, nails, wool, and similar goods.
The path to AREA 10 is blocked off by lots of crates.
What's the big circle/ring in the room (per the map)?
Perception check: 13
OOC: Never mind. I re-read your room description.....it's a well with murky water. Duh.
Luthien will return back to the rest of the group and report her findings. "I suggest we check out some of the crates in the next room, and then explore the stone passageways to the east or west...the fact that they're stone and not just natural caves leads me to think they are a part of the original dwarven complex, and we'll probably find the area infested with orcs!"
- You can hear a "fluttering" sound coming from past the east passageway that is blocked by the crates leading to AREA 10. - There is a secret door that is leading to AREA 9 that wasn't very visible before. - There is about 20pg worth of materials in this room, including a small box containing 180gp, and a flask of holy water.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Luthien picks though some of the other boxes/crates/loot, and not finding anything else of interest, hides in the shadows on the periphery of the room again: (Stealth) 11

Glancing at Luthien, "Ahh not the bridge again!"
Sighing I head over to the bridge....and go across.

AREA 8 - ORC COMMONS

Since the two of them have vanished from my sight, I'll just be standing here humming an old dwarven tune to myself as I wait......
