After slowly putting away his crossbow, Andrei prods the mimic with his ice ax. If it doesn't move, he tries to push it out of the way before stepping into the next room.
This room contains a large wood-framed bed with a rotted feather mattress, a wardrobe containing several old robes, a pair of iron candlesticks, and an open crate containing thirty torches and a leather sack with fifteen candles inside it. At the foot of the bed is an unlocked wooden footlocker
As Artus opens up the footlocker you find a folded cloak in excellent condition, a small wooden coffer (unlocked), a chain shirt, a mess kit, a flask of alchemist’s fire, a bullseye lantern, a set of thieves’ tools, and a spellbook with a yellow leather cover.
The unlocked coffer contains four healing potions.

Artus will scoop up all of the stuff, and turn to the group, "These may come in handy, let's find our way out now." Artus puts on the cloak as well, still wearing the top hat, winks at Reggie. "Hey Bub."
"Yeah and I wish we could burn it to the ground on the way out, but I bet the other townspeople wouldn't like that too much. I'll lead the way." With that, Tilo leads the way back to the main floor, retracing their steps.
Tilo easily retraces your steps back up the way you came to make it to the attic. The first thing you notice when you get to the top of the stairs is that the window that used to be along the southern wall is now bricked up and All the doors are gone, replaced by slashing scythe-blades. You can hear an erie moan coming from all around you and you could swear it is coming from the house itself.
"Gods, this house! Who sets out to make a place like this? Where does someone go wrong in life for this to happen? There are strange people back in my tribe, but this is beyond bizarre. I guess deeper into the house is the only option then?"

After studying the blades for a minute you come to two conclusions.
The blades cannot be disarmed or broken in anyway
There is a momentary gap in the repeating movements which would give you an advantage if you try to jump through.
There are two ways through the door. By an acrobatics check or an intelligence check with an advantage after studying the door for a minute There are no other ways through it. No, you cannot get an advantage with acrobatics, No you cannot use a strength check, Just Acrobatics, one roll, or Intelligence with an advantage after studying the movements of the blades.
