“Hey, guys, there’s some stuff in this chest over here. I might want to figure out these vials of liquid. But check these out….” He motions to : 623 cp, 110 sp, two small vials of a yellowish fluid, and a jade statuette of a frog with tiny golden orbs for eyes (40 gp). “Somebody check on Bronk, although once he sees ole Klarg dead, he might feint again, so hold onto him..”

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
While Erbert and the group secure and search Klarg's lair, Kragen will attend Bronk with disdain. Once he ensures Bronk is stable, he will move Bronk into Klarg's lair, against the south wall. Kargen also checks his restraints to ensure Bronk is unable to escape (if he is not restrained, he will do so). Once Bronk is stable and secure, Kragen proceeds to examine the lair focusing on the West and North areas, cautiously looking for anything out of the ordinary such as traps, false walls. Kragen is cautious when examining the north area which appears to have a staircase.
To the group "if we are going to have a short rest, let's inspect the surroundings and setup the area. We know we have other Goblins about."
Erbert sniffs the vials of yellow liquid to make sure it is not urine, saying with a straight face to Kragen, “One tip, don’t eat yellow snow…” and then after sampling the aroma, he inserts his finger into the opening of the vial and tips it slightly so that he can taste the liquid, smacking his tongue and lips, trying to discern what this potion might do.

“These are a couple of weakened healing potions. Not piss. Definitely not piss. I’ll hold onto one of them. Anyone want to hold onto the other?” Erbert sets it in the middle of the floor. He goes over to Bronk to have a look at him. “Well, he’s not dying, but not looking so good either. Are we taking a rest here? Maybe he’ll recover.. unless anyone can heal him. Should I test out the potion on him? I think we ought to hold onto them…” If a short rest is forthcoming, Erbert plans to use his Arcane Recovery feature to regain a spell slot. He leaves the matter of Bronk to the others, but expresses his opinion that he might hold more useful information.

Kragen to Erbert. "I don't eat snow, good sir, unless i am thirsty without water." "Yes, i appears the goblin might be useful, i will care for his wounds and see if i can nurse him back to reasonable health." "A short rest would do the group some good and allow us to refresh ourselves."
Prior to our short rest, as i am checking on Bronk's wounds and his bindings, i use Channel Divinity: preserve life to restore half of Bronk's hit points.
"We should also set ourselves up to cover entrances during our brief rest." "I will cover the entrance to Klarg's Lair."
"Crowdsourced" Hoid spends the time while the others are investigating Klarg's lair in investigating the pool's, ensuring they are thoroughly destroyed from future use, checking to see if the cavern has any other Human made features, and briefly peers down the hallways that the group entered at to ensure he does not detect any activity. When the group is ready to rest, he will retire to Klarg's lair for the duration.
You all get yourselves settled into Klarg's lair to rest for a bit. The pouring of the water in the chamber next door continues to impede conversation due to how loud it is and the echoes in the cave. Kragen and Hoid are watching the stairs to the north. No other items or findings of interest come up with your thorough search of the room. Searching the goblin dead turns up 43cp and 21sp along with their poor quality equipment. The pools are set up by the walls made of field stone. They can be reformed by stacking the pulled down walls of stones again. No signs of human construction are seen in the caves you search.
After only a short time of settling to rest and recover, goblins and wolves burst into the room from the waterfall / pools room. You have been surprised! Two goblins move in to attack Hoid, two goblins throw darts and a wolf moves in to attack Kragen.
Hoid, To Hit = 15, 19. He is hit by one of the goblins' scimitar for 5 damage.
Kragen, To Hit = 5, 14, 3 (two natural 1's !!). All attacks miss Kragen.
Kragen to act, then Hoid. (Others added to initiative next round)
Hoid will take a mighty swing at Goblin five shouting "Let's take out this goblin first so Chadwick can move into it's spot. Gneuman can move into the other empty spot so we can form a line so only one can get in at a time." And if reading Chadwick's mind "Then the paladin with the sexy flowing locks can help us all out with his mighty protection ability".
Hoid struggles to get his ridiculously large sword into play against the sudden appearance of foes and misses the goblin, to hit = 10.
You see a second wolf appear at the stairs to the north. That passage is now blocked with fur, fangs and snarls.
Goblin5 breaks away from Kragen to engage Erbert. As he turns, Kragen crushes its skull with The Judge, spattering Erbert with the contents. (Kragen reaction used if okay)
Goblin4 moves through the melee to engage Chadwick, leaving himself open to a reaction attack from Hoid. Hoid is ready this time with his sword and deftly stabs the goblin fatally. To Hit = 20, Damage = 8. (Hoid reaction used if okay)

Kragen bellows "too arms comrades, we are attacked". Swinging his warhammer "The Judge" at goblin3.
to hit 6+5 = 11
damage 6+3 = 9
Crowd sourcing Hoid
Hoid will take a mighty swing at Goblin five shouting "Let's take out this goblin first so Chadwick can move into it's spot. Gneuman can move into the other empty spot so we can form a line so only one can get in at a time." And if reading Chadwick's mind "Then the paladin with the sexy flowing locks can help us all out with his mighty protection ability".

Trolkarl to act.
Bonus action: Hex aka Condemn on goblin #3 giving disadvantage on dex
Action: Eldritch Blast to target goblin #3
to hit :8
Move to cover Erbert.
Those seem like great uses of reactions.
Trolkarl's Eldritch Blast flies wide of the goblin who is now Condemned.
Goblin3 then advances into the room, attacking Hoid with its scimitar, missing. To Hit = 9
Chadwick to act
Chadwick steps up to attack goblin 3 so he can put himself in front of the wolves.
Hit: 11
Assuming a miss, but 9 dam if this one is naked or his back was turned.
If Chadwick can step up into the opening in front of the wolves without provoking an AoO he will.
He is also talking to the wolves trying to calm them down and asking them to sit.
Nevermind, missed “fatally” in first mental fog filled reading. (Re-roll of damage from 2 to 6 makes me feel better though.)
Chadwick takes a swipe at the goblin who dances out of the arc of his axe. He then maneuvers to be in front of the wolves.
Using calming words, Chadwick tries to soothe the wolves. Wolf1 bites his leg, to hit -= 19, damage = 6.
Gneuman is up
Chadwick "OW!"
"I gave you my jerky, I thought we were friends!"
The wolf whisperererer!
Is the fissure that leads to the dog pen wide enough to fit through?
Gneuman engages goblin 3, attempting to bring his staff down upon the top of his head with a jumping strike: 19+5 = 24, damage: 3+3=6
Following up with straight kick to the creature's mid-section: 12+5=17, damage: 3+3=6
