Birds in mournful veils will soar into the dragon's mouth. So sayeth the wise Alaundo.

Rules about Posting
When not in battle, you may post to your heart's content. Depending on my situation, I may ask for a summary, because if I come on and see 50 detailed posts, I am likely not going to read them all (sorry in advance).
When posting, do your best to adhere to English grammar and spelling, but mistakes will not be held against you as long as you are doing your best! We aren't trying to submit our work to get published, so let's try our best to be lenient and understanding of others. Please try to post in 3rd Person present tense, but if you slip up and go into past, that is liveable!
When possible, and when it makes sense to do so, include tooltips in your post! Make an effort to include a tooltip when you use a spell especially or inflict a condition that way we can all understand what happened and read the same source. Here is how to include a tooltip:
How do the tooltips/links to spells etc work?
D&D Beyond offers the ability to link certain aspects on the forum in mouse-over triggered tooltips, such as magic items, monsters or combat actions - examples being Adult Black Dragon and dash. To create tooltips in this way as these, use the appropriate [tag][/tag] around the desired subject.
Example: [ magicitem]sunblade[/ magicitem] (Without spaces within the [ ] brackets.)
3 Short Rests/Day, which take effect immediately but must be done outside of combat. Short resting spends no hit die, instead recover half your HP + con mod.
Long Rests cost Supplies. Supplies are generally food/drink. This is just to account for all the eating and drinking your obviously did all day.
As a party, everyone starts off with 10's days worth of supplies. 1 day worth of supplies (which feeds ALL of you even any allies you might make along the way) costs 40 gp.
If you don't spend 1 day of supplies during your long rest, you all gain a level of exhaustion the next day, but still recover all HP, Spell Slots, and Ability resets.
Dying
Death is possible, but not just anything can kill you. You underwent a traumatic experience, but came out of it with a newfound, unknown power.
Help Action brings a downed character back up to 1, but leaves them prone. (Mastermind Rogue needs to be able to touch the character to Help in this way.)
This does NOT work on NPCs.
Narratively you are not unconscious when you technically would have died, but are completely winded instead. (Condition wise, you count as unconscious for the purposes of mechanical stuff.)
When you fail death saving throws, you do not die, but are instead completely unable to fight. You regain 1 HP when the fight is over.
Every time you are rendered completely unable to fight, you gain a level of exhaustion.
Exhaustion
Exhaustion will follow these rules instead:
There are 10 levels of exhaustion.
Each level gives -1 to d20 checks and Spell/Ability Save DCs (including weapon ones). For example, Exhaustion Level 1 is -1. Exhaustion Level 5 is -5.
Once you are at Exhaustion Level 10, if another source would give you a level of Exhaustion, your character TRULY dies.
Long Rest w/ supplies spent removes all levels of exhaustion, regardless of how many levels you may have accumulated.
Some creatures, traps, abilities, and spells may cause you to suffer a level of exhaustion.
Inspiration
Earn inspiration based on triggers you set up with DM.
Inspiration pools for a total of 4, which is shared between all players.
At least 2 players must consent that a point can be spent.
Inspiration is only used outside of combat.
Advantage
Any spell, ability, etc that would grant you Advantage can be used as a reaction after you know the result.
This is not true of abilities that impose disadvantage.
Initiative
Rolled with a d4 instead of a d20.
Allied creatures sharing initiative means they can post in any order, but they can also collaborate their turn. (IE: mix their movement and actions with one another)
Spellcasting
Prepared spellcasters may change their prepared spells at any time outside of combat. (Simple include in parenthesis that you did it, maybe even RP it out.)
You MUST have announced your spells change BEFORE combat rolls. Please remember to do this!!
Spellcasting components ignored. (For now! This is a test.)
Being silenced prevents ALL spellcasting even if the spell required no verbal components.
Spellcasting focus no longer required. (But you can RP having one, if you'd like!)
No limit on how many leveled spells can be cast in a turn.
Anyone can cast any spell scroll from any class list and there is no arcana check to cast higher level spells.
DC and Attack Bonus will be based on Intelligence or Wisdom, whichever is highest. (Yes, this is a dunk on Charisma.)
Action Economy
You can freely swap between equipped ranged weapon set and equipped melee weapon set, but to equip from your inventory a weapon other than those sets costs an action.
This means in the DDB character sheet, only equip one is actively in your set. So, for example, don't equip a greatsword and 2 daggers or 1 longbow and 1 hand crossbow! You have to choose to equip 1 melee set and 1 ranged set only at a time.
Please be sure to include swapping to an inventory weapon as your action in your combat post!
Shove can be used as a bonus action to potentially move someone back 5 ft.
Throwing a potion can cause it to break and affect a small radius (up to 3 adjacent).
Bonus Action Attack with Off Hand can be used even w/o taking the Attack Action with your Main Hand. (Example: you can cast [Tooltip Not Found] then attack with your off hand dagger with your bonus action!]
Donning/Doffing armor doesn't take time, but an action.
You may throw a grappled enemy on subsequent turns, provided they are either a size below you or your strength score is 20. (EX: any race that says you are considered Large for the purposes of carrying etc will allow you to throw someone even if you do not meet the Strength requirement to throw a Medium sized humanoid.)
Equipment
Attunement
There is no attunement limit.
To achieve this, you may need to eventually create a homebrew copy of any magical items you find and remove the attunement from them.
Weapons will have at least one weapon action attached to it, which can be used via spending charges on the weapon. (I will be making a "Baldurian" version of ALL mundane weapons.)
There will be more equipment available with special properties that are not necessarily magical, but are at least helpful. (ex: leather caps that grant + 1 dex saves, rings with + 2 persuasion, etc)
Limited Equipment Slots
1 Head Gear
1 Chest Piece
1 Pair of Gloves
1 Cloak
1 Pair of Boots/Shoes/Slippers
1 Necklace
2 Rings
3 "Specials" (things that do not fit the above slots)
Changes to equipment and spells
Just to emphasize this: if you'd like to see a spell or ability change to be like the BG3 version, just let me know! I will do my best to bring it to life. I will be making weapons, cantrips, and equipment (like potions, gloves, etc) that reflect the BG3 design philosophy. These will all be either named "Baldurian" or have the tag "[Baldurian]" in their name so you know its for THIS game. To see these, you must turn on homebrew. Just be sure you don't accidentally take other random homebrew options when leveling up your character. Check the sources if in doubt or ask me!
Actions List
Here is a (probably not complete) list of actions you can take in combat:
Dash
Disengage
Help
Improvised Melee Weapon
Main Hand Attack
Ranged Attack
Shove (the normal version)
Throw
Unarmed Strike
Weapon Action
Here is a list of bonus actions you can take in combat:
Dip (into fire, acid, something else idk)
Offhand Attack (Melee or Hand Crossbow)
Shove (the one where you just try to push someone 5 ft)
Weapon Bonus Actions
Some weapons even have Reactions.
Conditions
Aside from the existing conditions, here are some new ones that may come into play as well as changed old ones. As a note, I do not expect you to memorize this at all. Whenever someone becomes afflicted with something, I will post it every time I make a post in combat. Your items and consumables given by me should always have the entire wording of any condition they may cause somewhere in the item description!
Acid. Reduces your AC by 2 while you stand in it.
Bleeding. Creature takes 2 Slashing damage at the start of each turn and has disadvantage on Constitution Saving Throws. Removed by healing.
Blinded. Ranged attacks and spells have a range of 10 ft and attack rolls suffer disadvantage. Attack rolls against this creature have advantage.
Bone Chilled. Can not regain Hit Points. If creature is undead, has disadvantage on attack rolls.
Burning. Take 1d4 fire damage per turn. Can be removed with Help Action, using a Healing Potion, or getting Wet. Immune to this if already Wet. Dip action can be used on burning characters.
Chest Trauma. Has disadvantage on Constitution Saving Throws and has one fewer action. (So if you use an action, you can't use a bonus action and vice versa.)
Chilled. Affected creature is Vulnerable to Cold damage and Resistant to Fire damage.
Confused. Creature is hostile to everyone and wanders aimlessly. Sometimes skips its turn. (As determined by DM.)
Crippled. Movement speed reduced to 0 and has disadvantage on Dexterity Saving Throws. Removed by healing.
Dazed. Has disadvantage on Wisdom Saving Throws, can't take Reactions, and loses the Dexterity bonus to their AC. Removed if Helped.
Drenched. Your melee attacks inflict Wet on the target. (adding this largely to remember it is possible lol)
Drunk. At minimum, creature has disadvantage on dexterity and charisma checks. (depending on the brew, could be steeper!)
Electrocuted. Take 1d4 lightning damage at the start of each turn.
Ensnared. Cannot move and take 1d6 piercing damage per turn. Attack rolls against this creature have advantage, while the creature's attack rolls and dexterity saving throws have disadvantage.
Entangled. Cannot move. Attack rolls against the creature have advantage, while the creature's attack rolls and dexterity saving throws have disadvantage.
Enwebbed. Cannot move. Attack rolls against the creature have advantage, while the creature's attack rolls and dexterity saving throws have disadvantage.
Feeble. Deal only half damage with weapon attacks that use Strength.
Frozen. Creature encased in ice and is incapacitated. Taking bludgeoning, thunder, or force damage shatters the ice, ending the condition. Also vulnerable to those damage types.
Gaping Wounds. Attacks against this creature deal an additional 2 piercing damage. Removed by healing.
Goaded. Must attack the goading creature, if possible. Disadvantage on attack rolls against targets other than the goading creature.
Hamstrung. Movement speed reduced by 50%. Removed by healing.
Maimed. Movement speed reduced to 0 and has disadvantage on Dexterity Saving Throws.
Off Balance. The creature has Disadvantage on Strength and Dexterity checks, and attack rolls against the creature have advantage. Removed by taking damage or when helped.
Ruptured. Take 1d4 piercing damage when the move action is taken. (Only sets off once in a round.)
Shocked. Cannot take reactions and has disadvantage on ability checks and saving throws using dexterity.
Silenced. Affected creature(s) cannot speak or cast spells, and are also immune to thunder damage.
Weak Grip. Has disadvantage on attack rolls and strength saving throws. Removed if helped.
Wet. Immune to burning, resistant to fire damage, vulnerable to lightning and cold damage.
Minions
Some creatures in this game are "minions" which is an additional creature type. Minions have normal hit points and stats, but the reason they differ from other creatures is that they always die in a single hit or if they fail the save of a damaging spell. Minions have more than 1 hit point, but it is only for the purposes of spells and abilities like sleep.
Minions can be overkilled, which means you can essentially splash the damage of your attacks to other nearby minions. For melee, any adjacent minion can be hit in the splash, while ranged splash can only happen if they are in a line. Damaging spell AOEs are save or suck for minions, if they fail the save they die and if they succeed they survive even if saving means you take half damage.
Example: the stirges have 4 HP. If you deal 4 damage, you kill 1 stirge. If you deal 5 damage, you kill 2 stirges. If you deal 8 damage, you kill 2 stirges. If you deal 9 damage, you kill 3 stirges.
Same-creature minions move on the same initiative and when they attack, a single attack roll is made per creature they are targeting. On a success, they deal a static amount of damage multiplied by the number of creatures targeting that same creature. (For example, if you have 3 goblin minions surrounding you and their attack roll is a success, you probably will take 3 damage.)
Want to see something change? Just PM me! Want a feat to be like the BG3? Let me know! I'm very easy to work with, and I really just wanna do fun stuff with all of you.

Caemlyn (Nan and you guys sometimes call her Cammy or Cam)
Fave Colors: Black and White
What you know about Cammy:
They know she never had any family to look after her and that she grew up poor and mostly alone, and that she managed to pull through thanks to the powers granted her by Tymora, and by deceiving/stealing/persuading those around her. Depending on their insigh, they could know that because of that she cherishes the relationship they've formed and that Caemlyn sees them as a family. I was also thinking that as a result of being used to trick everyone, she may have had made some enemies in Baldur's Gate, and they would know about these people. (I've just made this up, if it works for you we could perhaps think about any of this characters she has deceived?)
Also, she loves good food and drink, and to dress with fancy clothing, perhaps as a reminscence of spending so many years having absolutely nothing. She loves sweets! If you give her chocolate, you will make her happy. She'd also love to have a pet - like a cat - but Nan doesn't allow it :( Also, making this completely up, is there any famous bard in Faerûn? I would make Caemlyn a total fan of that guy.
A thing she hasn't shared with anyone is that she's envious of other clerics that have had a better childhood and have thus been able to study. I haven't made her proficient in Religion/History/Arcana because it didn't match her upbringing. So basically, she feels she's not a true "cleric", and feels very insecure about this, because she hasn't really had someone to teach her.
Fave Color: Blue
What you know about Amaris Tell: ('No tacky nicknames, please. It's three syllables. It's not that hard.')
Amaris is a bit of a brat and a know it all. She's 21 years old and apparently lived in and studied at Candlekeep for the last seven years until she came to Baldur's Gate. Amaris is a big bookworm, she loves reading and is always eager to learn things, but she can be pretty impatient and has a short temper, and she doesn't like talking about grand philosophical topics at length, like life and death and mortality and such. She seems to hold some disdain for the rich, particularly the patriar class of Baldur's Gate, and doesn't like to go the Upper City much. Amaris is an introverted extrovert - she likes being around others, but can't be around them for too long. She recharges her 'social energy' by having alone time reading books or cuddling with her siamese cat familiar, Missy. She lets Cam play with her, but ultimately Amaris has 'full custody' over the familiar. Amaris has known Nan since she was a little girl and the two are very close.
Erevan
Fave Color: Teal
What you know about Erevan:
"I hail from Evermeet, the island kingdom and refuge of the Elves of Faerun. There, under my father's tutelage, I was taught the ways of the blade and the forest. I used to accompany him as he traveled across Faerun on behalf of the kingdom. Upon my father's death, I inherited our family sword and journeyed to Baldur's Gate, where I met his friend, Nan. I stayed with Nan for several years, assisting her to the best of my abilities, before eventually returning to Evermeet. However, I have now come back to Baldur's Gate at Nan's request, as she has matters that require my expertise."
Personality (likes/dislikes)
Erevan is very observant, he pays keen attention his surroundings and watches very carefully the behavior of the people he meets. He is quick to adapt to different situations. Even if he loves Evermeet and will do anything to protect his homeland, he really likes living among non-elves as more often they have a competely different approach and prospective about a great number of matters. He is extrovert, determinate and sometimes impulsive. He tries to live by the Harper Code as his father before him. Beside training with his bow and sword, Erevan enjoys dancing and reading old lore. Since he thinks that all Harpers should be able to play some instrument, for the past couple of years he has tried, but as for now, failed to learn how to properly play an harp. He is very fond of Nan and really enjoys her food.
He can not stand people that use their power or station to oppress others. People that disrespect nature make him very angry. He really really does not like fishes.
Allies and Companions
Allies are NPCs who are on your side and likely can be recruited. Companions are those who follow your lead and accompany you on your journey. You can have up to 2 companions with you. The DM controls allies, but you the players may control the companions in combat. The DM will still speak and behave on behalf of the companion, but the players control the companion's actions in combat. You can either work together on this or dictate the role to a single player, it all works for me.
Check spoilers for statblocks and additional info if any. The image of the statblocks should be a link so you can view on other tabs or whatever else!
Svenya (Ally)
(Recruitable under certain conditions.)
Svenya is a young, half-elven woman (possibly in her 30's) who was cursed at some point to walk as wererat in the sewers of Baldur's Gate. She is part of a wererat colony therein, and she comes off as more nervous than sneaky. Wererats are known for their deftness, and it seems Svenya, despite her demeanor, prefers to fight near the front.
If she bites any humanoid, even in her giant rat form, there is a chance she will pass on her curse to the victim. Svenya seems hesitant to pass on the curse to anyone else.

On this crisp autumn day in the year 1492, you slug through the bustling streets of Baldur's Gate, assaulted on all sides by the cacophony of merchants hawking their wares, beggars seeking alms, and the constant hum of intrigue and corruption that seemed to seep into every corner of the city. Even now, you just got done with a job dealing with a would-be lich now dead necromancer. Even now you can still smell the stench of dead on you and you aren't quite sure you can even wash it off of your gear... Hopefully you can.
Despite all the faults in Baldur's Gate, and oh are there many, there is one place nestled away in a quiet, cobblestone alleyway far from the city's center in the lower city. A charming bed and breakfast you call home which acted as a true respite, nay, a barrier between you and all the turmoil of the Gate. You come across it now, finding the familiar sign which reads, "Nan's Nook."
The proprietor of this cozy establishment is Nan, an elderly human woman who bares an ever mysterious twinkle in her eye. She's been running this bed and breakfast for a couple decades now, and she has seen the ebb and flow of the Gate's history. Those of you who don't know her all that well have an inkling that she may have been an adventurer, after all she is no patriar and yet affords such a gorgeous building. Within the walls of her inn, she has cultivated a haven of peace and comfort for weary travelers... and you.
As you enter Nan's Nook, you are greeted by the aroma of freshly baked bread and a crackling fireplace that warms the common room. The walls near the tables are adorned with books, a small collection that even a studied wizard might be envious of, a well-kept secret to be sure. Were a university near, certainly this place would be full of students.
Yet this was just one more place to rest one's head. On the outside, the unimpressive building rarely attracted customers, so you've been able to keep the place mostly to yourselves.
Walking in, you don't immediately see Nan, but that doesn't stop you from making yourself comfortable or getting up to something... so do tell: who are you?

- Gods above, finally! - Caemlyn says as soon as she crosses the door - I can't wait to have a bath and be rid of this stench - she aproaches an arm to her face and gives a sniff, which causes her nose to wrinkle - ... eugh ... stupid necromancers and their stupid love for rotten things.
Caemlyn is a slender human woman, not yet in her thirties but very closed to them. Tall, with long white hair and pale gray eyes, and constantly clad in black clothes. "Black matches everything and is perfect for every occasion", she would always say.
- Nan? Naaaaaaaaaan? Nan, dear, where are you? Let me kiss you before I proceed to lay in hot water for a good couple of hours - she asks the empty room, waiting for the elderly woman to appear. Caemlyn had grown to love the woman as if she were her own grandmother. And since the cleric didn't have a family of her own - having grown up in the streets of Baldur's Gate as one of the many urchins that roamed the city - this meant a big deal for her - Huh? She isn't home? Weird - she told the rest.
Bryn Lappage stepped across the threshold of Nan’s Nook with his attention focused down on his hands. Therein lay a wooden ball with a short length of broken wood attached, what remained of his walking cane just recently broken in the ordeal with the necromancer. His focus had been on the cane so much that even the lingering smell had not been truly noticed.
Bryn is a young middle aged half elven man with handsome features. He takes great care with his appearance. His facial hair, a point of personal pride, is diligently cared after and waxed into a flourishing mustache with pointed goatee. His clothing, while not of noble standards, is of high quality and always kept clean and in good repair. He does not walk with a limp or give any indication of a need for a walking cane, he had been carrying one for the better part of three weeks now however, apparently a social trend rather than a physical need.
Caemlyn’s words finally pull him out of his obsession and he registers the smell. "Goodness, I was going to go out in search of a replacement cane immediately, but perhaps a bath is required first. I wonder if Nan might have a cane in the back somewhere that I could borrow until I can do a thorough browsing of the options at the stores. I really should have planned for this and had a replacement picked out already. I can assure you I will not put myself in this situation again."
He looks up and around their little hideaway looking for signs of Nan.
"I'm sure that she is at home Caemlyn" says Erevan as he follows his companion inside "She is probably resting in her room, no need to worry." he stops for a moment to scan the area before heading towards one of the tables and sitting on an empty chair by the fire. "I am too eager to get rid of this unpleasant smell, but I'll rest a little bit first."
Erevan is a medium build moon elf with fair, alabaster-like skin, shoulder-length black hair and gold-flecked green eyes. He is only a few decades past his first century of life. He is clad in well-worn, but meticulously maintained scale armor that he wears over a dark green leather. A magnificent elven sword, adorned with a moonstone on its hilt, hungs at his hip.
Erevan looks thoughtfully at the crackling fire for a long minute before removing from his back a bow and a quiver half full. "I may have to restock before our next adventure" says the elf as his mind wanders to the first time he met Nan, in this same place, almost thirty years ago.
Coming in at the tail-end of the group of adventurers is a young half-elf woman, one might guess in her early 20s, dressed in blue robes. Her freckled face twisted in a pouty, disgusted expression. Her skin has a bluish tint to it and her long brown hair, tied up in a ponytail, fades to dark blue at the ends; all thanks to her moon-elf heritage. She carries a patched leather satchel over her shoulder that the party would know contains. among other things, her spellbook - a bulky, clasped Bradel-bound tome with silver filigree that she uses as a focus for her spells.
"Ugh, I get that necromancers work with the dead, but why couldn't they just bring back ghosts or spectres are something? No, it just HAD to be stupid, stinking zombies!"Amaris groans. "It's times like these that I wish prestidigitation was in this damn spellbook, then I'd at least be able to make us smell nicer. By Oghma, I swear I'll burn these robes. Nobody take too long in the bath, okay? I really can't stand this."
Despite her frustration, she becomes visibly calmer upon entering Nan's Nook. This place had been a refuge for a young Amaris for many years, and even now as an adult she can't help but feel happier for being here even when she's in the foulest of moods. She grabs a book off of the shelf, plonks down onto a nearby seat, and begins silently reading as the group deliberates as to which order everyone will be able to take a bath.
- Be quick in the bath? Oh Amaris, love, that is definitely not going to be me. So, I think I'll better go last. But, please, do leave some hot water for this poor cleric, okay, guys? - Camelyn says. Then goes to sit next to Erevan. The half-elf smells as bad as she does, so there's no harm done in sitting next to him - Well, let's at least let some fresh air into the room. That will hopefully take some .... odour ... away.
- Hehe, Nan hates it when I do this. Says she'll end up having a heart attack. Buuuuut, since she's not around to see it...- she says, giggling.
Then, looking at Bryn, which is complaining over his broken cane, she adds - I told you using your cane as a blunt weapon was not a good idea. Anyway, what's the point of using a cane if you don't really need it? At least if you had a hidden sword in it it would be useful! Ohhh, tell me you're going to put one of those inside it next time you get a cane? Wouldn't it be funny? Making the baddies think you're limp and suddenly producing a sword out of nowhere and *stab stab stab* - as she says this, she moves her arm as if she was slicing some invisible enemy.
DM: Adventures in Phandalin [Khessa], The Dread of Strahd[Darya], Dragons of Stormwreck Isle [Rook], Baldur's Gate Mysteries [4-Player] Player: Oona in MO's Icewind Dale Ru's Current Status
Erevan chuckles at Camelyn's display of magic "Nan has a knack for knowing things; you might get into trouble later, but fresh air is so much welcomed, you have my thanks." adds the elf with a smile.
He nods in agreement at the cleric's statement about Bryn's cane "She makes a pretty valid point, Bryn; that cane served its purpose very well against those undead, but a sword would work even better." The elf scratches his chin as he tries to focus his thoughts for a moment "I do recall seeing a cane somewhere, in the basement I think."
"Amaris, if I were you, I would take Camelyn's offer and enjoy the first bath of the day; we all know that she likes to soak in for a long time." says Erevan with big smile.
“Camelyn, imagine a nice warm day in mid summer. Not too sunny out, not cold or breezy, just the perfect day. Do you wear clothing? You don’t need its warmth or protection from the sun. What is the point of wearing clothing when there is no need of it? I have taken up the cane because I feel it fills out a part of my…..MEness. I have considered purchasing a cane sword but then it becomes a tool and less an accessory that accentuates ME. Thank you Everan, I shall check the basement and see what I can find.”
Bryn taps the head of the broken cane into his hand and moves off towards the basement. Better to go rummaging around there now before his bath, then he can clean off any filth all at once.
Amaris lets out a yelp like a mouse caught by a cat when all the windows slam open. Her book (a bawdy-looking novel called 'Bump in the Night' with cover art featuring a handsome white-haired vampire smirking seductively) launches into the air, its page crumpling upon impact with the ground. She subsequently groans and hurls a nearby pillow at Caemlyn, missing entirely. "You know I also hate it when you do that! Don't you laugh too, Everan. Last time I nearly knocked a whole table over! Don't do it again!" Amaris whines, retrieving her book. "Oh, Oghma's eyes, you made me lose my page... Well, it's trashy literature anyway. And I've already read it. Twice. But it's so gods-damn compelling..."
Amaris puts the book back and raises an eyebrow at Bryn's clothes talk. "The point of wearing clothes is so that you aren't naked, Bryn. There's laws about it. Be careful in the basement, by the way, I think the Boogie-Man was asking for you down there," she says nonchalantly. "He still wants that dance. But fine, I guess I'll take a bath first. I'll not hoard all the hot water, not like last time. I swear I thought Caemlyn was never going to speak to me again after that."
While Bryn heads downstairs, Amaris heads up, leaves her belongings in her room (Nan made her bed for her again - how sweet), then draws a bath and hops in. "Gods, I needed this."
Erevan tries to resist for a while, but in the end he completely fails to contain an hearthy laugh at Amaris's reaction. "My apologies, but it was too hard to not to laugh; your expression was too funny to resist. I'll try to contain myself in the future." says the elf apologetically, but with a smile on his face.
"Let me know when you are done with your bath. Since Bryn is going to be occupied dancing with the Boogie-Man downstairs and Caemlyn is going last, I'll take a bath after you." says at the half-elf woman as she heads upstairs.
- Careful, Bryn. You are starting to sound like one of those druids, who are so fond of "enjoying nature's gifts" that I'm sure would ban clothing if they could! - Caemlyn laughs.
Then she sees the pillow coming at her and thought her first reaction is to move away, she ends up staying where she is. They've been there before: Amaris getting mad, throwing something and her, failing completely, getting even madder and Caemlyn bursting in laughter. Which is what the cleric did: she laughed loudly but then got up and approached her friend, grabbing the book quicker than her.
- Oh? And what is this about? Let me see! - she began reading a random page - "Through his parted lips, she could see those fangs who had already tasted her blood but hadn't yet been sated. The pale elf's red eyes were burning with hunger, with desire, and as he grabbed her waist firmly she just let go. She wanted to taste him, to be tasted by him, and could barely contain a moan when his hands began unbuttoning her blouse and exploring her...". My my! You know, dear? I'm thinking we've focusing too much on work and too little on having fun. You and I should dress up sometime and go out for a night of fun! Perhaps there's some pale prince waiting for us to ... well ... do stuff.
Giving Amaris her book back and having nothing else to do till her turn in the bathroom arrived, she went to her room, where she changed her clothes for something more comfortable. She found out that a good part of the stench went away with the clothes. Then she came downstais again with the foul-smeilling bundle and told Erevan:
- Perhaps we should make a big pile of stinking clothes and then let Amaris cast a fireball on them. I'm not sure we'll ever want to wear them again anyway.
"Careful there, Caemlyn, from what I know about vampires, and to be honest, it is not that much, reality differs greatly from fiction." says Erevan as Caemlyn finishes to read from the book. "Undead do like living beings, yes, but mostly as food. Speaking of food, I'm a bit hungry." The elf gets up and helps himself by slicing a piece of bread and some taking some dried fruits.
"The idea is good, but I do not think that Nan would be too happy with a fireball being cast in her home. In addition, leather and scale armours are not cheap to repair..." chuckles Erevan at Caemlyn's suggestion. "Anyway, I too should change in something more confortable and less smelly." The elf then goes upstairs to change and shortly after returns to eat another mouthful of dried fruits. As usual, his sword hangs from his belt.
Amaris blushes a bit at Caemlyn's suggestion at finding a pale prince with which to do things. "Erevan's right, vampires are dangerous! Super dangerous, in fact. They are to be avoided, no matter how sparkly or pretty they may be, but... A night of fun and relaxation doesn't sound too bad. Not that kind of fun, necessarily, but... it would be fun to all go out together, maybe to the Elfsong or something?" She suggests, looking a little bashful at even bringing it up before shaking her head and storming upstairs. "Maybe not, I'll let you know when I'm done in the bath!"
About ten minutes later Amaris comes down in a fresh set of clothes while braiding her still-wet brown-blue hair. "As promised, not too long. You're up, Cammy. Try not to think too much about any vampires or pale princes in there!"
She passes Erevan as he heads up the stairs and stifles a gag. "Oh, Mystra's marbles, Erevan, you... you should definitely change... and bathe. I can't fireball those clothes yet, but I can definitely chromatic orb them!"
- Oh, he doesn't need to be a vampire as long as he's handsome as hell! - the cleric laughs - Anyway, I can settle for a visit to the Elfsong! A good dinner and a nice wine would do wonders! Not that I have any problem with Nan's cooking, of course In fact, she could come along, I'm sure she'd love it.
When Amaris comes down from her bath, Cam is tempted to go herself instead of waiting to be the last one, but remembering that she wants to take a good long time there, she decides to be patient:
- Let's let Erevan and Bryn go first. Meanwhile I'll grab something to eat and wait for Nan to finally come outside. Come on, Nan! - she calls, looking at their landlady's room - We don't smell that bad anymore! Come with us so we can tell you about our latest adventure!
Bryn returns from the basement several minutes later empty handed. The basement is kept fairly clean and very organized. Used as food and wine cellar for the most part with minimal misc. storage. There was in fact a cane amongst the misc. bits, but it was so plain and common that to be seen with it would be worse than to go without. Until he could get to the shops and get a proper replacement, he would forego the use of one.
He scanned the room to see where the bathing situation was. Amaris had returned, hair still wet. Caemlyn was pushing it off, it seemed. Bryn was torn. He wanted to sit down and have a moment to relax, but the thought of sharing water after two people was not what he preferred. Plus, if he sat down now, he might not want to get up.
He looks towards Erevan. “Do you mind if I go now? I will be quick about it.”
He runs off to the bath and several minutes later passes through the common room wearing nothing but a town and carrying his dirty clothing and sporting wet hair. “The bath is free now, for whomever wishes to go next.” After heading into the bedroom, he put on a fresh set of clothes and ran a comb through his hair and mustache. Then returning to the common room he finally sets himself down on one of the couches and placed his feet on the table, letting out a long over due sigh.
"A night out at the Elfsong sounds like a great idea, Amaris." says Erevan as he and Amaris cross paths on the stairs. "We should definitively go, maybe even tonight." "And yes, I know that I need to bathe, I'll go immediately after Bryn."
"No luck finding the cane? I was sure I had seen one not too long ago." asks Erevan as he sees Bryn returning empty-handed. "Anyway, you can take your bath now, I'll go after you."
As Bryn rejoins the group in the common area, Erevan heads once again upstairs for a long-awaited bath. The elf, maybe still a bit concious of Amaris's words, take a longer bath than he originally planned and, after a while return downstairs, refreshed and clean.
"You're up Caemlyn, take your time, but not too long if we are to go to at the Elfsong tonight."

Fundamental Changes
Rests
Dying
Exhaustion
Inspiration
Advantage
Initiative
Spellcasting
Action Economy
Equipment
Here is a list of bonus actions you can take in combat:
Some weapons even have Reactions.
Conditions
Aside from the existing conditions, here are some new ones that may come into play as well as changed old ones. As a note, I do not expect you to memorize this at all. Whenever someone becomes afflicted with something, I will post it every time I make a post in combat. Your items and consumables given by me should always have the entire wording of any condition they may cause somewhere in the item description!

(art by quihnn)

No, it just HAD to be stupid, stinking zombies!" Amaris groans.
Amaris
- Be quick in the bath? Oh Amaris, love, that is definitely not going to be me. So, I think I'll better go last. But, please, do leave some hot water for this poor cleric, okay, guys? - Camelyn says. Then goes to sit next to Erevan. The half-elf smells as bad as she does, so there's no harm done in sitting next to him - Well, let's at least let some fresh air into the room. That will hopefully take some .... odour ... away.
As she says this, she mutters a few words and suddenly all the windows burst open, letting some air into the room.
- Hehe, Nan hates it when I do this. Says she'll end up having a heart attack. Buuuuut, since she's not around to see it... - she says, giggling.

With all the noise, Nan hasn't yet made an appearance, but the door to her bedroom is closed (and if tried, locked). She's likely taking a cat nap!

Since Bryn is going to be occupied dancing with the Boogie-Man downstairs and Caemlyn is going last, I'll take a bath after you."
says at the half-elf woman as she heads upstairs.
