"Delvindra, honey..." Duwamilly looks uncertain "I was thinking of just reporting them to the authorities once they arrived at the port... We now know their camp is near here...
...if you have a way to make it rain fire on their heads, like you did yesterday with Frinion,"
Something dark and sinister flashes behind Delvindra's eyes and she starts to pull off the ring she was gifted by the High Priest.
"Maybe I do..."
As she pulls the ring free and the whispers enter her head, Delvindra feels a combination of power and anger. Anger at the blade that was held to her throat and the man who dared to wield it and the power to punish the transgression...

As they start wandering off, the four bandits demanding to know what their leader was thinking, Delvindra's fury burns against them... a fury expressed in the form of a massive orb of flame descending upon the retreating bandits. They barely have time to scream as the flames descend upon them. The scorching pain is enough to bring their leader back to his senses... he stands amidst the charred and grotesquely twisted remains of his comrades, covered in horrific burns, yet somehow still alive!
"I... I'll remember this, you witch!" he exclaims.
But he isn't stupid enough to wait around for another fireball. With that ominous warning, he turns tail and dashes into the woods, seemingly oblivious to his injuries.
(Congrats! Encounter over for real! Alright, 25 XP each; Duwamilly gets inspiration for preventing an all-out brawl... and I'll go ahead and hand one out to Delvindra as well for some very interesting RP)
(Lol! Sure! I'm the Mistress of Puppets, of course! 😉)
'And now the bandit boss is alone, maybe... Fire-scarred, maybe... But not necessarily a repentant or a better person' Duwamilly thinks. 'He will try to find new evildoers to group with and resume his robberies... Has all this violence really changed things for the better? I still believe that violence, most of the times, is a defeat for all...'
However, the ex-Preceptor prefers to leave these considerations to the tiefling monk herself, if she wants to think about it... she rather continues to take care of the wounded man.
(OOC: Speaking of the wounded... he was just healed of 7 HP. 7! What condition is he in now? If he were a normal person - or even a first level warrior - he should probably be either healed completely, or for at least above half of his maximum HP; therefore he should now be well or fairly well... Does he still seem to be in serious condition, instead? If he is now well, Duwamilly chats with him, asking, among other things, who he is and what was he doing before getting ambushed. If he still is in serious conditions... well... the gnome assumes quite a worried look - since she is used to more efficacy of her healing spells - but she simply keeps taking care of him)
The young man sits up, still wincing with pain as he does so but seemingly in much better condition than he was mere seconds ago. The young man's clothing is tattered from the brutal beating he received, and completely filthy from being thrown into the mud, but you can tell that was previously a fine garment.
"I don't know how I can possibly repay you for saving me from those bastards," he says, glancing out the carriage window at the smoldering remains of the four dead bandits before turning his attention back to the party. "But I still have a few gold pieces that they didn't take... I'm not sure why... they just took my brooch of shielding and my bag of bounty before they beat me and threw me into the road to lure in more unlucky travelers... oh, where are my manners? I should really introduce myself to my saviors! My name is Charles Brighton. Sir Charles Brighton, if you really feel like being formal, but considering the fact that you just saved my life, I think it is entirely appropriate for you to just call me 'Charlie' as my friends do."
Yasmina watches with some confusion how the gnome seems to have put a charm on the bandit leader, then making the bandits leave, only to then see the tiefling give them a fiery farewell. The half-elf can not for her life see why they would leave the work unfinished now, swiftly flying after the remaining bandit to finish him off.
(This would have happened right after the fireball, Yasmina flying after the bandit carried by her winged boots, attacking him from afar as often as she can)

"Pleasure to meet you, Charlie, my new friend!" the gnome cleric takes advantage of the moments in which the man has not yet risen to his feet to shake his hand, with a big smile "I'm Duwamilly 'Planerunner' of clan Gerinell! Ex-Preceptor and now faithful dispenser of well-being and good mood on behalf of Garn Glittergold! You know? There was also a Red Dragon who wanted to hire me... but I didn't accept! Red Dragon bosses are horrible! They're notorious for firing employees!"
"In fact, even if the magical objects you speak of should be worth much more than a few coins, it's strange that the bandits didn't take your money too..." Duwamilly reflects "Anyway, we won't take them from you either! Among friends, these things they don't count! Rather, to celebrate our new friendship, you could help us find a boarding trip to the Shaded Isle! Usually those with 'Sir' before their name are well connected... Do you think you could help us with this, Charlie?"
Meanwhile, a voice in the ex-Preceptor's mind observes: 'He is d4rn charming!' and she stares at him for a while with her mouth open; but another immediately comments 'But he's almost twice as tall as me... and noble... I could probably only have hopes of he being interested in me if he suffered a financial collapse and was at the same time struck by a permanent form of reduce person. Not that Garl Glittergold couldn't orchestrate it... Right, sire? But I would never wish such bad luck on this poor guy... not even to balance it out later with the privilege of perhaps being able to take an interest in me. Yes, but... He still is d4rn charming!'
"In the meantime," Planerunner does her best to help her new friend "just sit here a minute, okay, Charlie? I'll see what I can do about your nice clothes..." and she briefly calls for Garl Glittergold's help, Mending the noble's clothes.

Her new winged boots carrying her swiftly and effortlessly after the fleeing scorched bandit, the red-haired half-elf swiftly places a curse on him before unleashing a blue beam of eldritch crackling force from her sapphire ring.
"A pleasure to meet you, Lady Duwamilly 'Planerunner' of clan Gerinel!" Charlie says with a friendly smile as he takes the offered hand and plants a kiss upon it. "A holy woman, then? So that is how you managed to bewitch the roughens! As that is the case, I suppose I should also send my sincere thanks to Garn Glittergold for his aid! I'll be sure to present a worthy gift to his temple as soon as humanly possible. Now then, dear lady, would you be so kind as to introduce me to your travelling companions?"

The bandit lets out one last scream as the beam strikes him in the back... then he crumples lifeless to the ground. Does Yasmina search the body (or bodies, if she wants to take the time to look over the charred remains of the other bandits), or return to the carriage?
As Duwamilly works on mending the unfortunate noble's clothing, he considers her request for aide in reaching the Shaded Isle carefully.
"A rather strange request..." he says with a raised eyebrow. "What you ask is not exactly simple... but... I could probably make arrangements. The difficulty will be finding a captain and crew who are both brave enough to undertake the task and trustworthy. It is not unheard of for down-on-their-luck seamen to resort to piracy and use requests such as this one to get money first by accepting such a job, and then holding their passengers hostage to extort more money from benefactors. But I must ask... why does a holy woman such as yourself wish to visit the Shaded Isle?"

Upon hearing the extremely gallant ways in which the nobleman expresses his appreciation and gratitude, Duwamilly's heart begins to beat faster... After Sir Brighton calls her 'Lady', he smiles at her and kisses her small and pretty hand, which almost seems to disappear covered for a moment by those lips, said heart is now launched into a crazy race and the blood, pumped wildly, makes her hot and blush.
"You're... you're really kind, Charlie!" the gnome cleric exclaims "You must have had excellent preceptors! Were they gnomes too? Usually the best ones are... Oh, but I digress. However, if I can avoid using 'Sir' with you, you can certainly avoid using using 'Lady' with me... Just call me Esterwll! We gnomes have lots of names... The one I use for very, very, very special people is Esterwll! Do you like it? If you don't like it we'll make up a different one... We gnomes can always assign ourselves new names and nicknames!"
"Oh, but I'm digressing again..." the ex-Preceptor realizes "You wanted me to introduce you to the kids! Sure thing! Here we go!"and finally, one by one, she introduces the others - so she realizes that Yasmina isn't there and adds "Moreover, there would be Yasmina... who is truly a dear girl! But she's not here at the moment... I just hope she hasn't gotten into trouble too, now... You know how it is with kids, don't you, Charlie? You can't lose sight of them for a second... But you'll see, she'll be back! And as soon as she is with us again, I will introduce her to you".
"Last but not least, Charlie," Esterwll concludes "remember that my dear sire Garl Glittergold will rejoice for sure for your donation to the temple... but even more for your daily good mood! He loves you, you know?" and the way those brown eyes look up at him, you'd think 'he' isn't the only one"And he wants you to live your life while having fun doing it! Sometimes just a pinch of good humor is enough to sweeten even the most bitter situations... By the way, do you know who the most cowardly knight who ever existed is? It's Sir... ...Render!"
Yasmina does indeed search all the bodies, starting with the bandit she just chased down. Investigation if needed: 3
(No need for that Investigation roll)
Yasmina does a quick search of the corpses... there isn't much of interest on them. The leader had a small coin purse containing 8 silver pieces, and the other 4 bandits each had one containing 3 silver pieces (so a total of 20 SP between the five of them). It seems that anything else they had was destroyed in Delvindra's fireball, but there probably wasn't anything especially noteworthy... though... (if Yasmina caught the noble's statement that they took two magic items from him), it may strike her as a bit odd that she didn't find any such items among the defeated roughens.
