Kosef let’s out a breath of exasperation. “I wonder if this thing will just go if we let it?” Not wanting to seem like a traitor, he fired off another Sacred Flame:
14 Dex Save or 3 Radiant Damage
The creature, having been put through a beating, is unable to move out the way, wincing in pain.
Orson ignores the womans shrewish comment and instead heads down stairs to see if he can do something to barricade the door from the inside. Once on the ground floor he starts stacking anything he can find infront of the door. He also looks for any rope that might br inside.
You find there already are crates stacked in front of the door. It seems she had the same idea as you. She doesn't seem to have any rope on either floor you visited.
The creature roars out in pain and takes all three attacks on Biezdar. "I will rip your head off for that!"
Jayson dashes in, leading with his sword. Sadly, the bard would be unable to stab the broad side of a barn.
((Roll via sheet - 3+4= 7 to hit))
/Do these dice *ever* roll well? ::: Jayson will take a move action to avoid being where the creature would anticipate him being based on the aforementioned attack./
Biezdar is shocked to hear the monster talking, while he tries to rip him with claws. Biezdar manages to dodge those attacks moving nimbly, but then a second of shock hit him when he heard words coming from the mouth of a monster and he did not shield up in time to fully stop the bite. "AAAhhhrgh !~ What the hell?" - he screams - "You will regret this!" - he says trough his gritted teeth. Biezdar feels this fight got tense pretty quick and it is in its crucial stage when next failure means death for one of them. So he tries his best to be on top and goes for a jumps up to bring flail down on the monster head.
Attack: 12+6=18 Damage: Bludgeoning: 2+4=6

Orson runs back up stairs and pushes past the woman to look out the same window she had been using. "Yeah! Good work fellas!" He yells down. Turning back to the woman he says, "All clear ma'am."
Orson goes back down and starts removing the blockade against the front door.
“I should just stick to singing, based on my performance in this tangle. But well done, friends. It would seem we arrived just in time to be useful to the client.”
Jayson moves nearer to Biezdar, addressing the knight.
”Nicely fought, sir. We should likely withdraw and get this good lady to Phandalin. Then, as earlier discussed, we can head back to the dwarves and their excavation.”
"Thank you Jayson, i am to pleased with our actions". - he answers Jayson and then says to the Midwife: "My name is Biezdar Kamrazzan, we were tasked to provide you a safe passage to Phandalin, will you be so kind to let us accompany you there?" - then he winces a little and adds.- "I am sorry to be a bother but could you treat us to a rest in your house? - and then addressing rest of the party. - "do you guys think we have time for that? i don't think i am up to another scuffle i we bump into something on the way..."

Gor lets go of the corpse and rears up, taking a moment to look down at the winged creature laying there.
"What is that thing?" He said, using his boot to push the body around a bit and try to get a better look at it. "Midwife? Where did this come from? Oh, wait, was this what we were supposed to sledge? Or was it her? We didn't just kill the occupant of this windmill did we?"
She comes down as Orsen finishes clearing the barricade. "I have a potion of healing here as a thank you for dealing with that manticore. As for your request, I'm grateful that the town are looking out for me, but I've told them before that I am happier out there, therefore I will not return with you. I would rather something happened to me here where I am happy, than hide away in the town.
If you wished to stay the night here first to rest, you are welcome to use the top floor. I have no beds there. But it's warm and dry and spacious. I also have a few more healing potions but they will be 50gp each. They are too costly to produce and too important for my line of work to give any more away for free."**
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Kosef is confused and frustrated. “You want to stay here!? With these monsters around. There is a DRAGON around, good woman. A DRAGON. I didnt think I’d have to be pushy but if we hadn’t arrived when we did you would be meat. You must return with us to Phandalin, it is the only place you’ll not be killed and eaten!”
”My dear lady, we will gratefully accept your offered hospitality for the night, but on the morrow, I must emphatically concur with my colleague.”
The bard points upward.
”We ourselves have seen this wyrm, ma’am. The danger is very, very real. We left the site of our previous errand early specifically to exfiltrate you from this location and see you safely to Phandalin. This is not only for your benefit, ma’am, but for all of those under your care. Surely you must recognize that if something were to needlessly happen to you, all of those folks would suffer. I know I speak for the townspeople when I assure you that they will gladly make every effort to make you comfortable there for the duration of your stay. Once the danger has passed, we will escort you back here ourselves. So, please, I beg you, ma’am, come with us.”
"Be that as it may, all my equipment and livelyhood is here, and I hardly think I would make a very good snack for a dragon. In fact, leave that manticore body around and the dragon will just take that. I'm more than happy to write a letter to Harbin telling him that I will not move but that you tried your best to convince me. He knows how stubborn I am, and he also knows I've lived here since before I helped his mother birth him."
"Lads we did help her, but that does not oblige her to listen to us. We are guests here after all, which we are all thankful for. I will gladly accept that letter as it might convince Townmaster to reward us after all and we might need the money to gather resources needed to get rid of the dragon. This lady lives a life of freedom and bravery just like us and i respect that."
Biezdar does not want to risk aggravate the lady and be thrown out of her place as he needs the rest :)

"I agree, oah." Gor says as the woman flat refuses to leave. "If she wants to give her blood to Lodis by way of Dragon, it is her right to decide for herself. We did what we came to do, brothers, and it is on her to decide if she wants the help or not."
Gor turns his attention to the midwife and grins.
"You meet your inevitable death with true grit! I admire your determination, oah! The dragon will come for you soon I am sure! I am sure that your blood will please Lodis and your body will nourish the instrument!"
A very clean hit with the flail, leaving it reeling.
The creature flinches at the words.
The handaxe just about makes purchase, reflected by the weak blow dealt.
The creature, having been put through a beating, is unable to move out the way, wincing in pain.
The creature is looking critical.
Orsen is up

"Die you foul beast!". Another Sacred Flame:
Dex Save 14 or 7 Radiant Damage
The creature, despite not being a beast by literal definition, still seems to follow the instruction, keeling over dead
