"Ooooooooh I don't like this. I feel like a sitting duck here in this room but I have to agree that a rest might be in order before we continue. The good news is that the fleeing kobolds probably believe us dead, not that it is the kobolds that scare me now." Looking over the staff, "Wow. that looks, magnificent"
Bram agrees with Liafial's assessment of the situation. At Ospos mention of a giant worm, Bram comments,
"A worm? Wow I would have like to have seen that. Although better alive then witness to a great creature like that. The dead don't tell good stories, well, most of the time."
Seeing Ospos scooping up jewels and gems, Bram begins to do likewise.
"Not sure we are going to have another chance at these pretties, may as well take what we can while we can."
As the others enter the workshop Bram looks up in time to see the giant worm destroy the tunnel behind them.
"Wow! That was beautiful! Must be my lucky day to get to see such a creature and still be standing."
At the mention of taking a break to recuperate Bram asks,
"Are we safe yet, is that thing gone or at least leaving? I'm not to keen on resting here if that thing wants to stay around and have some fun with us."
Bram listens to the rumbling and the trembling in the ground, trying to determine if the creature is still active here, or moving away.

(edit: <sigh>. "Please dice roller, what have I done to you, that you would treat me this way?")
Dril: It does indeed seem to be an arcane focus, but there aren't any runes or markings on it that would inform whether or not it had its own magical enhancement. You're stumped.
Bram: The body of the worm passes completely after a few moments, leaving the tunnel in ruin. Tremors continue to shake the mine, and they seem to generate from every direction. Will the worm return? Will the cavern collapse? You have no clue.

"I guess it's safe to say that we won't be sleeping here if that thing comes crawling after us. I was just hoping it wont find out about us sleeping in the first place, but let's see. We have not exactly been on the lucky side most of the time so far."
Does Nean have any idea what creature he was seeing rather than just a worm?

(Paradox i feel like i'm getting your good rolls too and not just mine, it's kinda weird...)
Nean: You've heard tales of massive, burrowing creatures living deep underground occasionally running into underground settlements and mining operations. Beyond that, you don't really know any details about what variety this is, though there's no question that it is incredibly dangerous, and taking it on would likely prove lethal.
Dril slowly makes his way to the doors and peers in between the crack to take a look inside, calling on his years in the dark forest to aid him in his sight into the cavern....Perception:13

Dril: A few minutes go by as the party begins to settle in and the tremors subside, hoping to get a little rest before continuing to search for your quarry. As you wait, curiosity gets the best of you, and you begin walking over to the doors hoping to catch a glimpse of the mirror. Though there isn't much light inside, it's easy to see the mounds of treasure. Golden coins, ornate chests, you even spot an entire suit of armor, encrusted with priceless gems. Truly a fitting hoard for a dragon. Your eyes scan for what you're really after, and they pick out what looks to be a golden frame peeking out from one of the piles. Unsure of what it is, you lean forward, and somehow your slight weight is enough to shift one of the massive doors, now loosened by the commotion. A screech pierces your ears for a moment, followed by the sound of old wood splitting apart, as one of the impractically oversized door handles falls away from the door and comes crashing down 30 or so feet from you. The silence that follows is pained, as the entire party waits for a response to the noise. One minute goes by.... two minutes... BOOM resounds in your ears as you are tossed to the side of the door along with a cascade of stones. The massive purple worm rears into the air, much of it's body still hidden below, its gargantuan maw wide open, rows of teeth exposed as it now stands between the party and the doors. (Dril give me a dex save, DC 15 and it's 20 bludgeoning dmg on a fail or half as much on a success)
(also sorry but this means no short rest for the moment)

Dril, crouching in fear at the commotion he had caused, had no defense against the impact of the door and the horror behind it. Dril briefly becomes a projectile before scraping to a halt among a litany of baubles and trinkets; limp, unconscious.
Frightened out of his wits, Ospos didn't move an inch. As his life flashed before his eyes, his brain kept going over the kobolds dropping stones. In hindsight their tactic was obvious; summon the worm to fight their battle, flee and rebuild later. Then the door Dril knocked loose, summoning the worm once again. The worm follows noises.
Gingerly, so as not to make the slightest noise, Ospos draws a gem from his pocket and throws it behind the worm, into the room with the hoard.

Ospos: Instead of sailing between the cracked doors, the thrown gem bounces off one of them, flying back towards the center of the room and clinking against the ground. The worm dives for it, smashing into the ground near the group and sending up another spray of debris. As it burrows underneath your feet, you see that the tail end has a wickedly barbed stinger jutting from it.

Bram: You take the opportunity to run to Dril while the creature is distracted, making it to your companion and rushing to feed him the potion.
Dril: Your eyes open to find Bram kneeled over you, having been healed for 6

Grasping the idea behind Ospos throw, Nean once again summons a magically floating hand and directs it towards the door that is already lying on the floor. While trying to remain completely quiet, the hand now starts knocking on the metal door as loud as possible and begins to slowly travel away from the group, still producing banging noises, until it reaches the maximum distance of 30 ft. away from the group.

As Nodrus catches up to the rest of the party eventually, the spray of debris scatters across his back, but with the last few seconds of his rage, he would only receive 3 points of damage. As he grits his teeth from the sharp bits of rock and dirt, Nodrus reaches into his backpack, finding the healing potion that he purchased before, and shakily begins to drink from it.
"I could use a rest as well, I can't imagine they're going anywhere." He rubs some of his wounds and pockets some more trinkets.

"Dril, Dril, wake up Dril! Come on Dril, don't let this overgrown earth worm be your end."
