"Depends on if we chose a good caravan or not. If the items are too numerous or too heavy to use without the carts, we could take them. Might even be an easy way back in if we can use their paperwork." Holissa says looking around in mild surprise at the green dragonborn. "after this, we're going to have to talk about keeping a bit of a lower profile, I doubt my crimes have made it to the city yet and I'd like to keep out of the eyes of the law for as long as I can. After all," She says with a chilling smile, "no one suspects the aasimar."
"With a little luck of course, and besides if we happen to steal a caravan, we should have some place to hide inside the carriages." Onyx says with a little laugh. "How did you get out so easily if they are looking for criminals and the likes of us??" He adds at the end as if to question her criminal background and stature within the underground.
Valrakas is a male tiefling.
“Some shape changed, some were invisible. We didn’t make a scene leaving the gates. They had no reason to bother with us. As far as the caravan is concerned, we’re not bringing it back. The guard is going to be checking anything that comes in. We can’t really show up with a stolen caravan unless we have something to fool the guards at the gate.”
(Autocorrect sorry, I knew your character is a he)
"Well okay then, I'll just be tagging along if ya need anything" Onyx starts whistling and watches the gate as he ends the fog spell to see what type of mayhem he's caused. Not really intent on continuing the conversation.

Hardal places his shield as an arm rest while he explains to the rest of the group.
"I was planning on letting the owl scout down the road as night covers Amber Road and either make the caravan slip or induce sleep to the coachman and its horses as we wait for it to come by.
Since the bird is gone and it costs money and time to replace it, we have to adjust the plan. If some of you have any suggestions to improve our odds, put them in the table.
At least we need someone that can look far away in the darkness."

“well if’n You’re looking for flight that’s no complicated task for me.” I grab at the edge of my cloak of the bat with both hands and I begin to hover off the ground. “We even have any idea what this caravan looks like? Bound not to be the only caravan on the road.....”
Onyx stops whistling taking a look at this brash crew of miscreants, taking in the faces and outfits of each. (If I could have everyone PM or post in the group what you are currently dressed in if you have a cloak on that covers most of what you have on thats fine, If you rather not thats okay too, Thanks)
"Dont think I caught your name..." As Hardal speaks up Onyx looks at him inquisitively as long as he's been alive he hasn't seen a Gith in person but has heard of the race before. "Names Onyx, pretty far from home I'd say?"
(Profgenclean/ Hardal) Standing before you a human, dressed in leather boots, pants made of some sort of animal hide expertly tanned and treated for the elements, Dark brown long sleeve shirt covered by leather armor chest plate , his forearms have leather bracers that extend from his wrists to his elbow with a leather string woven into them to tie them along the inner edge, the one on his right hand also extends to the tips of his middle and ring fingers and cover most of his palm. the cloak which seemingly shifts colors around him to match the surroundings is draped over his shoulders hood down. The skin on his face looks worn like an old satchel, a mustache and goatee neatly trimmed, his hair is long but not to his shoulder and swept to the side just covering the tip of his right ear. His eyes where the white parts of his eyeballs should be white look almost grey, his irises a deep amethyst purple despite the color they look dead. His cloak covering anyother items he may have on him self at the moment.

I’m in dark red with brown trim commoners clothing covered by a deep black colored cloak. Two daggers are affixed to the front of my brown leather belts with matching brown boots. Dark hair around my horns and a dark goatee
Sporting a chain mail with his longsword and shield on his back, a tall bald man with pale yellow skin, pointed ears serrated at the back, and sunken black eyes.
"The name is Hardal, as for home... it is quite far indeed."
You can sense that there is longing in Hardal's words as he utter the words 'home'.
"Anyway, my personal life is of no importance to be discussed right now. We need to look for the caravan first as time passes as we talk.
The demon prince can now go and take a look from the skies for the caravan while the rest of us can go to their respective positions. I'll be the first one to cast a spell, in case I fail, the rest should have a backup plan to stop it from moving."

(OOC: How far are we from the main gate, is it still within sight?)
Onyx suggest we go a little further down the road if the gate is still near by. we should be able to see any carvan coming this way as they will be using some sort of torch light as the night draws in.
Perception to see if he can see any carriages coming down towards the city: 24

As you all debated on what to do, Valrakas, you spot a few caravans coming down the road. The first one bore a symbol upon the sides of the carriage, on both sides of the carriage were mercenaries. The cart held mostly crates, barrels and a few people in the back. Further down, there's a covered cart with a few more guards on the side. It made a slow pace along the road to have the guards keeps up with it. The last one had stopped, it is too far to make out why it had stopped.

(The gate is still within sight but they can't see you all since its 200 yards out.)
You can see an cart making your way down the road, just two mercenaries on the side to protect it.
"Not necessarily,"Atporix replies to the yuan-ti. "Some people just enjoy the chaos that a minor disruption of a trade good or the disappearance of a minor higher-up may cause."
Onyx lets the group know of the on coming cart. "Just as I suspected hired muscle, anything worth protecting is worth stealing am I right" He gives Hardal a little nudge with is elbow.
"Time is getting short what say you? take out the first cart that comes along or wait?"

"Judging from the looks of it, the first cart has mercenaries both its sides. Getting that cart would be hard just from their sheer numbers.
The second cart which is covered is protected by guards. There is definitely someone important for them to protect there since they move at a slow pace.
We don't have any defining information on the last cart so we'll leave that for now.
I suggest we get the second one. If the caravan owner is inside, they would be hesitant in attacking us after we secure him. Let's just hope my hunch is right."
Hardal readies his spell Grease targeting the covered cart's path until it is near enough for them to reach it immediately.

"It's not our problem the kill paper gave a vague description of it.
If we see a caravan, we stop it, kill everyone inside, and then split the spoils. Simple as that.
We have more than enough people to stop another one in case there's more of them."
Hardal pauses for a moment before saying his own opinion.
"The only thing bothering me is that the kill paper specifically says there should be no survivors.
Perhaps someone influential is one of the caravan's passengers.
If that's the case, we are guaranteed to get something valuable on this job."
