{Milo, I've adjusted your damage to 18 and 15. Because of the crunchy crit, I've taken only the first damage roll and added maximum dice (8) to that first damage roll and modifier. So, 8+6+4 and 8+3+4}}
(Thanks. I forgot this is the campaign with crunchy crits. I will try and remember, but feel I have used up most of my luck now...)
(I know we still need Wadito finish their turn up for this round, however going ahead to post my next round now to save time, and Wadican do both turns in 1 as well)
The heat is starting to affect Milowith the sweat getting in his eyes and his vision going a bit blurry. It meant he missed his first swing (13) but his second rapier is much cleaner (19to hit, 11damage)
After Myrla's devastating attack and retaliation, the yellow veins on Hunteros' torso slowly dim and die. At one point, it looks as if Hunteros is about to keel over. However, a sudden surge of heat comes out of every surface of Hunteros' body before the yellow veins start pulsing again, slower than before. The heatwave engulfs everyone in the vicinity and Hunteros' scale turns a lighter shade of red. It is reminiscent of a boiled lobster.
{{After Myrla's attack, everybody takes another 1 fire damage.}}
With renewed vigour, Hunteros gazes upon a stalking Inge and doesn't flinch when the blade of the glaive clangs against his armour and the haft smacks his face. "Yes, I can see Helstrom in you," Hunteros says. "Quite an eclectic bunch you have gathered here, little Prana. Let's see if you can keep them when they finally learn the truth."
{{Milo's turn in the new round is noted. Waiting for Wadi's roll before we finish this round and move to a new round.}}
With the way Hunteros' scale keep getting redder and lighter in colour, Wadi is reminded of cooking shells and other shelled animals. Hunteros is boiling from the inside. Wadi cannot really say how long it would take, but, after some time, Hunteros would die from his insides being boiled and burnt. Before that, his temperature and the temperature around him would continue to rise.
Wadi not sure what to do to save his friend and is grasping at shifting sand. He will try to purify him using a skill (spell) he learned. He casts Purify Food and Drink on Huntreos.
Remembering a ritual he once saw, Wadi attempts to do the same in order to excise this possession. He is not sure if it would work, as the ritual is commonly used to remove disease or poison from organic material and liquid. But, as he starts the ritual, there is a niggling at the back of his mind that this would help somehow. It feels as if there is something building from deep inside him that would ensure it causes at least an effect.
Hunteros suddenly grunts in pain as some of his scales suddenly turn a darker colour compared to the rest. The darker coloured scales are visibly turning a little bit blue as if it is freezing. He spits a glob of red steaming wad of blood and scowls at Wadi. "Another Dawnchaser with their annoying spell," Hunteros comments before focusing all his attack at Wadi. "Why am I not surprised?"
1st Attack: 16 to hit. Miss. 2nd Attack: 17 to hit. Damage: 6 fire damage.
Wadi manages to block one attack with his own weapon, but the other sears his hand, leaving the skin red and burnt.
{{Myrla, Milo, and Inge, take your turn. I will say this.}}
Myrla keenly observes Hunteros's movements, ready to seize any opening he might present. As he strikes at Wadi, Myrla sees an opportunity to attack his flank once more, but she misses her mark (Sentinel reaction, Hit 11). Frustrated by her lapse, she focuses on his movements, waiting for just the right moment to lunge at him again (Attack with Precise strike feat, hit 23, 15 damage).
{{Myrla, Milo, and Inge, take your turn. I will say this.}}
((I think you meant to prompt Brix instead of Milo. Though I guess Milo and Wadi could already go again as they have their turn before Hunteros anyway.))
Sorry, I'm beginning to enter a vacation period and while I will try to check-in at least daily, I cannot promise that I will always be able to do so. From September 1, I should be back to normal.
His lip curling into an angry sneer, Brix decides he can no longer stand by and wait for a comrade to fall without at least attempting to help. He digs into his pouch of polished stones(bonus action) and feels about for the perfect projectile. He pulls three stones from the bag. He winds up his body by pulling his hands up close to his chin just before raising his left knee high towards his chest. He steps forward forcibly with that raised leg while simultaneously pushing off with his rear leg. His right cocks back and all his motions culminate in a smooth fluidic motion that send the stone hurtling across the room towards Hunteros.
Hunteros tilts his body as Myrla's first attack comes, and steps directly into the path of the second with a grin. Once again, the veins on his chest flickers before bursting with more colour, now covering the entirety of his torso and neck. The air around him becomes hotter again, prompting Myrlato quickly pull her rapier and backs away.
{{Everybody takes another 1 fire damage after Myrla's attack.}}
In case anyone is wondering, Hunteros releases a burst of hot air from every surface of his body whenever an attack against him reaches a certain damage threshold. When this threshold is reached, you guys take 1 fire damage. Have to do something to account for everyone's high AC and raise the stake a bit. Haha.
Tired of waiting and getting worried about the state of everyone, Brix pulls out three stones and throws them at Hunteros, He usually did this for fun, but this time, there is something different. Something within him is trying to tell him to throw it a certain way. When the stone is released from his hand, it strangely gains speed, faster than it is supposed to. Unfortunately, the stone crumbles just an inch before it reaches Hunteros.
Hunteros offers a smirk as Inge rants. He walks toward the path of the glaive and grabs it as it embeds into his shoulder, holding it in and not allowing Inge to move away.
"You will know my name," Hunteros says matter-of-factly. "I believe little Prana is preparing to stop your journey short on this floor and proceed to the next one. If there is one thing I know about our little Prana, is that she always do things by the book. This first floor is a test on your mind, your intelligence, and your resilience to deal with complex, difficult problems. Some of you stands up while some others coasts with you. The next test will be that of your physique. Something you will like, I'm sure, as all Helstrom does. I do not need to be there, but I know she will warn you against me."
He pauses for a moment and frowns. He looks at his body, or the body he is occupying, and lets out a deep, heavy sigh.
"It appears this body is expiring," Hunteros says. "Well, we will meet each other again. Until then, do not let others tell you what to do or what to think."
As Hunteros ends his speech, a whistling comes out of his body. There is only but a moment before a blast of fire comes out from his chest.
{{I need everybody to make a Dexterity saving throw.}}
Myrla listens Hunteros' speech and immediately knows something's up. She already braces her shield on his last words and turns so that she could avoid most of what that creature could throw at her. (Dexterity save: 23)

Sorry, I'm beginning to enter a vacation period and while I will try to check-in at least daily, I cannot promise that I will always be able to do so. From September 1, I should be back to normal.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Fire burst out first from the middle of Hunteros' chest before the rest of his body becomes aflame. As if a cork has been released, a strong wave of intense heat engulfs everyone around Hunteros, even rattling the doors along the corridor. The walls become a little bit singed and some of the barrels on the wagon starts to steam. A few of the packed ration also catches flash fire, burning quickly before the flame dissipates entirely on its own.
Being very close to Hunteros, Wadi and Milo take the full brunt of the heatwave. It burns them quickly, leaving their hair singed and skin red. Steam wafts off of their body when the fire finally dies down.
When the heat dies down, there is nothing remains of Hunteros. Only a few specks of ash and the hilt of his discarded longsword. Even the metal of the blade appears to have melted very quickly from the intense heat his body produced.
The sound of cracking glass fills the corridor before a barely visible magical barrier shatters from around each person in the group. It appears that the benefactor of the monument had granted her protection, protecting the group's person and equipment from being destroyed by the heat. The red light of the corridor slowly turns white once again and a loud sound of grinding stone can be heard from the door leading east toward the dusty hall and the darkened hall with the sarcophagus.
{{Wadi and Milo take the full 5 fire damage, while Brix, Myrla, and Inge take half of that (2). I am also going to roll here for the number of rations and packed goods from the wagon that have become inedible from the fire. On a d4, even number is half of the goods perishing, and odd number is a quarter of the goods perishing in the flame. A d4: (4)}}
Milo'sskin is the same colour as his hair, a vibrant red. Wincing, he is barely able to stand (2/12hp). Seeing Wadicollapse, Milofeels himself heading that way as well, so he quickly focuses on breathing and quickly takes some herbs from his pouch, chews them up and rubs them on his skin. Used to the heat from the desert, these herbs offer a slight cooling effect, reducing the burn and helping to bring his temperature down (Second wind,9 healing. Now at 11/12hp). He still feels very weary so sits down, hoping someone else is able to save Wadi
Myrla follows Milo's lead, albeit with a little delay. Seeing Wadi go down, Myrla turns to Brix, calling, "Brix! Wadi is down, you've got some of spirits ready to bring him back up?" Then, she'll chews on some herbs herself and let's her muscle relax so that they don't contribute to even more heat (Second Wind: +9 HP, now at 11/11)
