As the group approaches the dimly illuminated building, they can see that there are wooden posts boarding the lower windows. As Dar'Quilyn calls out, there is a stumbling noise come from the winder. Sticking their head out at the window, along with a loaded crossbow, is a middle aged human woman wearing a night gown. Her freckled face peers out into the dark outside the building. "'Ew goes there?" She calls out, obviously not making out the party that well from her current vantage point, the crossbow gesturing slowly around the group.
"Travellers? Well you'd best piss off out of here before them furry bastards turn back up!" The woman yells at Johann. "Them Clerks are on 'tother side o'er that way." She nods her head to behind her. "I'm gonna shoot them feckers an' skin 'em if they come near my 'ouse again."
Beyond this house, there appears to be some more houses a couple of hundred feet away, shrouded in the gloom of night. It looks like that's the main hovel of homes in this quaint hamlet of Verdegreen.
"We don't want to distrub you miss" says Dar'quinlyn waving his hand as goodbye while he continue walking "Thank you miss! This way! " he points towards the directino she mentioned. "We are at the hamlet at last!"
As the group approaches the dark shapes of the other buildings, there is sign of trouble being in the parts. Other houses have boarded up their windows, and the ground outside their houses looks half-ripped up. There is no sign of anyone outside at this point, and to the back end of the hamlet it appears that there is some farmland, though the fields look to be in a bad state.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Warren will attempt to get up onto a roof in order to get a better view of the area. He'll either use the wagon if it's close enough or just jump and climb up the wall/swing on the roof edge
Johann goes up to a door and knocks on it. He calls out, "Is this the Clerk Farm? It's the Seven Saints Adventuring Company. We're here about the wolves."
Johann strides up towards the farmland at the edge of town. As he steps into the front garden area, through the gap in the short stone walls, he hears a *SNAP* noise. Taking a quick look down, he realises he has triggered a trap.
Johann: please make a DC 13 Dexterity Saving Throw with Disadvantage!
