Tenebril will continue to yell out where the beetles are in hopes of helping everyone with ranged attacks. He is also going to get directly over the top of the closest beetle and attack it with Thorn Whip , where he's trying to pull it (10ft up) just enough out of the HoH so everyone can see it and hoping to trigger the damages from HoH and/or Spirit Guardians again (he's not sure if that will work but worth a try) And then it should fall straight back down and take fall damage (I hope)
Thorn Whip : Attack 26, dmg 6, fall damage 5
Not sure if that's high enough to pull it out of the HoH and SG but figured it was worth trying. If it does pull it out enough, does that trigger Sparhawk's hold action?
ok agreed, Ten would not waste a spell on retreating enemies. He will wait a lil bit before dropping HoH though and will try to send Gloam to see what they are doing BUT as high up as he can go and while trying to as silent as possible
Ten will turn to the group and let them know what's up with the beetles and will do a search of the shiny things if no one else starts (assuming the beetles aren't coming back). He'll dismiss the owl to its pocket dimension if it looks like they are going to try to attack it again.
"Let's check out those shiny things, maybe that's what drew the beetles, but I suspect they actually were drawn by us."
Kos waits until the beetles are gone for sure and any dangerous spells are dropped before moving forward to examine them closer.
"They may not of been attacking us out of hate but simply hunger, either way it's unfortunate but we would still have to defend ourselves."

"A rightful place awaits you in the Realms Above, in the Land of the Great Light. Come in peace, and live beneath the sun again, where trees and flowers grow."
— The message of Eilistraee to all decent drow.
"Run thy sword across my chains, Silver Lady, that I may join your dance.”
Tenebril will drop the HoH and Tess will drop the Spirit Guardians. Tess will help everyone look through the muck at all things shiny and Tenebril will stay as high up as he can, he'll use "One with Shadows" to cast Invisibility on himself and then select the stealth/hide. He'll watch the cavern entrance for any signs of new enemies and have Eldritch Blast readied, just in case.
I have him tell everyone what he's going to do so they at least kind of know where he's at.

Gloam stealth: 19
After a minute if continuous shreiking, the wailing taoers off and ceases. With the veil of magical darkness waning, Gloam takes flight.
Beetle spit and a big rock come flying at the owl as it emerges from the cavern
Tenebril notices as soon as the first glob of acid spit hits Gloam and feels him pop out of existence. Tenebril pulls away from the entrance and heads towards the party. He floats down to the party and drops invisibility say, "Well something just took out Gloam. I think it was at least one of the beetles. Looks like they might be waiting for us right outside the cavern. Does anyone know a good way to deal with them quickly. I don't like the idea of getting hit by their acid spit again."
"Yeah, I guess I have the ranged part on control. I guess it's just a matter of figuring out exactly where they are at outside the cavern so we don't take a barrage of attacks before we can even do anything. As long as I'm in dim light or darkness, I can freely cast invisibility, but only on myself, haven't figured out how to get that to work for others yet," Tenebril says with a chuckle.
"Anyone else good at sneaking or staying hidden?" Tenebril asks. "I think that would help to be able to hit at least a few times at once to level the playing field so to speak, since we know they are waiting for us out there."
As the last of the fungal monstrosities retreat into the darkness, Gharzun watches their forms vanish with narrowed eyes and a clenched jaw. He does not lower his warhammer immediately. Even as the silence settles, thick and damp as the rot around them, he remains alert.
He glances briefly to the others as they begin to sift through the remnants of the battle—gleaming objects glinting from beneath piles of disturbed detritus.
“Recover what you can. I’ll watch the dark.”
With that, he moves away from the group, positioning himself near the passage the enemies had fled through. He plants his shield at his side, hammer still ready, and falls into a ready stance. Eyes fixed forward, feet shoulder-width apart, he breathes slow and steady—prepared to intercept whatever might come next.
The glow of the fungal garden casts warped shadows across his armor, but Gharzun does not flinch. He simply waits, sentinel and still.
... a stone giant barrels into the room, swinging its stone club at the forst people.he sees. "Steal my mushrooms? Hurt my pets? You'll be mushroom food next." The giant clamkrs as it smashea its way theough the cavern

She'll then cast Fire Bolt - Attack: 21 Damage: 25 then Bonus action cast Healing Word upcasted to level 3 on Kos - 21
Tenebril flies as high as he can while trying to move away from the giant and hurls all three beams of his Eldritch blast at what sounds like the owner of the things that just attacked all of them and what killed his familiar.
The giant howls in pain and barks an order to his pets in Terran pointing to the ceiling of the cavern. The beetles roll in and one blasts a stream of acid at the source of the edritch blasts 22. The other beetle, unabke to miater.mkre.acjd, uses his momentum to batrel.into Gharzun, attempting to gore him wit his horn. 14 for 23 piercing and prone.
<should that be with DA? I think invisibility ends when Tenebril casts a spell or makes an attack and he did both, unless it was acruallt greater invisibility>
