This small cave is littered with broken bones. Near the back wall lies a busted skeleton with a horned bovine head splintered with cracks. Two leather sacks brimming with gold rest near the skeleton.
A 20-foot-wide section of the ceiling over the skeleton contains a crushing deadfall. Only as it careens toward Cha!jil, does she notice the bits of decayed flesh stuck to the ceiling, which is flat and made of stone.
"Cha!jil, are you alright?" Sparhawk says in alarm. "We have some sort of trap here." He'll study it to see if it can be disarmed, or if something can be wedged into place to keep it from dropping again.
She can just walk out, or crawl, up to them. But I assumed they had already. Nothing in there except thar minotaur skeleton and the bags of treasure as gmfar as you can see. Looks like a dead end.

" Alright is........an overstatement. Nothing too broken.....but many bruise."
“Cha!jil, if you are able, search the body and grab the bag. There may be things in there that are useful.”
Sighing grumpily she crawled over to the body and grabbed the bag before crawling out of the room, concious another ceiling drop will definitely kill her.
When Cha!jil reaches out to touch the hefty bag of treasure, her hand slips right through the bag and it's treasure, revealing it to be nothing more than an illusion.
Disappointed by the illusion, the small leather satchel tied about the the next of the skeleton nearly escapes Cha!jil's notice.
If you take it...
You find it holds five diamonds worth 100 gp each
If you're departing this dead-end, you're faced with a fork, either leading back to the entrance or off to the east. If you head east, rhe tunnel branches left ke right, but either way you try, you'll find yourself back where you started.
<there's nothing here. It's just time waste. This was meant to be played with an irl time limit>
With no other options, you head back to rhe entrance, again surrounded by tunnels interspersed with grisly faves carved unto the rock.
with the injuries you sustained my friend and the spell you cast on me, allow me to take up hand to hand if we encounter foes. If you can, I’d recommend ranged attacks.”
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Koselig notes something within the month of one if tbe carved faces. Gnomes have a keen sense for gems, and what hudes behind thise stone teeth glinting from within the csrved face is sure as anything a cabochon of pink tourmaline.
"Open wide." Kos chuckles slightly as ge slides his nimble fingers into tbe mouth if the carving...
Sleight of Hand 15
Before Kos can touch the gem, themouth opens with an audible "Aaa-aaaahhh!" and stick out it's tongue, with a pink stone the size of a men's egg resting upon it. The gnome quickly snatches up the rock and examines it closely before pocketing it.
"Well, I suppose we could take all the gem stones, and Cha!jils loot of diamonds, but that hardly is worth the damage you sustained. Since its clear the place is trapped, lets take some safeguards moving forward." He pulls out a 10 foot pool and will use it to poke the floor and ceiling as they move forward.
Sparhawk hands Cha!jil a potion of healing. "Not sure if you should take this now or hold on to it just in case, but Tess and I can both heal."
"Lets see where the tusk one leads, shall we." Sparhawk moves forward, placing the pole in front of him, and keeping a sharp eye on traps. They will move slowly to improve their chances of seeing anything suspicious.

( Dex Save to get out the way? 5 )
( Oh, well)
<sorry, I meant to call for the Dex save; unfortunately, that is a failure.>
The ceiling deals 55 bludgeoning damage and Cha!jil has the prone condition.
The ceiling begins to retract, slowly back into place.
What would you like to do, now?
<just saw I put a sorcerer token instead of sparhawk. I'll fix it in owlbear, but I don't plan to update this image.>

(Do we have an owlbear rodeo link?)
<I'm having issues with scaling. Apparently they upgraded to version 2.3, now and their emphasis is more dynamic fog and better graphics.
Here's the link, anyhow. >

Sparhawk doesn't see any clear mechanisms and wonders if it might be a magically activated trap.
Do you want to try to wedge something under it and flag the trap to set it off?
(OOC: Is there a way to get Cha!jil out of the area or get around it?)

Cha!jil tips the diamonds into Sparhawks hand with a shrug.

Looking around the room, it's now obvious, (upon inspection,) that all the carved faces have gemstones in their mouths.
