Rbere are 6 Stine faces, which some players might not have heard have gems in their mouths and which yiunheard reply to yiur words earlier. Of tbe remainimg unexplored paths, there are three: northeast, east and southeast
Cha!jil sinks her claws into the wall of the passage and hurriedly leaps over the dead slime, heading back towards the entrance of many doors she looks grumpily about....she's not sure how her ancient ancestors and cousins bore living underground....
"Well this just leads back to these doors, should I check them now or do you want to explore one of the three ways we didn't go yet, northeast, east, and southeast?"
Koselig doesn't put away his thieves' tools just yet in case the plan is to try the doors, but realizes he may need them for traps in either of the other directions they can also go.

The sandy floor of this long, wide corridor is strewn with piles of bat guano. Small fungi sprout from these deposits and the walls.
As you pass theough the corridor with your lone magical light, carried by Tess, you disturb the bats roosting overhead, which attack as they pass en masse
<There are 5 swarms, contingent on the Five players currently in the party, but if Tess is absent this will play out differently. This is why AFK w/o notice can be an issue in PBP>
If I don't hear from T today, I can assume Tess is elsewhere and it adjusts this encounter, but then I wonder if we have anyone without darkvision and if they use a torch, etc.
Edit: it seems triton's have darkvision, too (now) so, if Tess doesn't show up today, irl (Sunday) I'm assuming the whole party is moving in darkness, because you can, because power creep. (Hence, Shadowdark)

The corridor bends 90 degrees to the left halfway through. As yoi proceed beyond the bend the sound of rushing water grows louder
To your left, the corridor opens to an underground lake. A river flows into the south side of this high-vaulted cavern, feeding a glassy lake

Drops of water fall from the ceiling high above, rippling the mirrorlike surface of the water.
Two rivers flow out of the northern side of the lake, while a third flows out to the west. Ledges along the shore lead to dry tunnels.
Acriss rhe lake, a ten-foot-long wooden boat is tied to a ledge near the water. Intricate, flowing knotwork carving adorns the sides of the craft, which tapers to a point at both ends.
Rhe corridor does not end at the lake, but again becomes a narrow tun el briefly, before opening to a cavern. The cavern widens into a gallery of considerable height and length. Clusters of small fungi grow throughout the chamber, and odd indentations dot the floor and walls at semiregular intervals.
<so, you've got a lake first, to the left, and the larger cavern with fungus straight ahead. What do you do?>
(OOC: So at this point, there is no way to get to the boat that we see, or could we follow a ledge to a dry tunnel, explore, than get to the boat eventually?)
Dallas laughs, “Of course I can, I’d be a pretty poor triton if I couldn’t. I’m not sure how I’d get the boat over though. I can cast waterwalk on you and you can help me if you wish.”
(OOC: So at this point, there is no way to get to the boat that we see, or could we follow a ledge to a dry tunnel, explore, than get to the boat eventually?)
Perhaps a different tunnel, but no direct path exists to walk around the lake. I'll post the map.

While waiting to see just how we cross the lake or get to the boat Koselig will quickly cast Healing Word twice more to heal more from the acid attacks he suffered.

Dallas casts water walk on everyone, as Koselig performs some healing alchemy.
When everyone is prepared, you tske a few steps onto the surface of the water. The fish and crustaceans that call this subterranean lake home scurry and dart about beneath your feet. You notice the lake bottom grows steep deeper as you venture farther from the shore, disappearing into inky blackness.
Koselig, make a perception check.

Dallas could probably try to get to it as he’s a strong swimmer because of being a pirate and a triton.
