Jayson sensing a favorable agreement to the plan initiates it.. Jayson moves to see enough into the room to target the silence spell 20ft into the room so the sphere would prevent noise from entering the room mostly.
Uses the scroll to cast silence 20ft into the room beyond but still allow the chime of opening to affect the doors, immediately uses the chime on the door after the spell goes off.
Telepathically, "Here we go folks."
Softly cast the silence spell from the scroll. Then after its cast uses the chime of opening on the doors.

Dust, ash, walls blackened by fire, and heaps of debris beneath the sagging ceiling show that this room was damaged by a destructive blast. The furnishings—tables, chairs, bookshelves, beds—are charred or splintered. A scorched iron chest stands near the foot of one of the beds and the adjacent closet on the south wall is full of rubble.
It is only because of your seasoned natures that you note all of th features of the room before fixing on the most remarkable occupant of the room.
Dressed in ethereal and unsettling robes, with no flesh remaining on its old bones, a Wraith floats in front of you, its back towards the door. It hovers above the scorched chest.
With Jayson's cunning plan, it does not seem to have noticed your entering the room, nor Lorken's light.
"Whatever we do, we'd better do it quickly – I think we'll have more to deal with in a few moments."and he indicates the area beyond the stairs with a tilt of his head. "Is there any chance this thing isn't going to want to kill us?"
Readying himself for action, he sets the lantern down in the silence, and draws his greataxe.
Broma, in an instant, pours over his knowledge of Wraiths, specifically their temperament towards the living. He also steps in front of the softer members of the group, acting as an impromptu shield while the others plan their own moves. It's not exactly out of any purer intention, however, beyond a desire to study its strange form in close quarters combat. Wonderful, simply wonderful.
Jayson telepathically says, “Every fiber of my being says attack. I’ve never known of a good undead. I’m blasting before it turn unless you call me off.”
if it starts to turn towards us Jayson does an eldritch blast at the wraith. I’ll post the attack in 4-5hrs.

Broma recalls many blackboards with dense handwritten blockface script dominating it all. Notes left there for perusal of students. One dealt solely with Wraiths, Specters and Shadows. An italicisied quotation stands above each analysis.
"These aren’t your regular ghosts. They cling to this world, determined to take as many of the living with them as possible before they’re destroyed." Racaar, Mystic Theurge of the Celsus Research Order.
A wraith is malice incarnate, concentrated into an incorporeal form that seeks to quench all life. The creature is suffused with negative energy, and its mere passage through the world leaves nearby plants blackened and withered. Animals flee from its presence. Even small fires can be extinguished by the sucking oblivion of the wraith’s horrifying existence.
Vile Oblivion. When a mortal humanoid lives a debased life or enters into a fiendish pact, it consigns its soul to eternal damnation in the Lower Planes. However, sometimes the soul becomes so suffused with negative energy that it collapses in on itself and ceases to exist the instant before it can shuffle off to some horrible afterlife. When this occurs, the spirit becomes a soulless wraith — a malevolent void trapped on the plane where it died. Almost nothing of the wraith’s former existence is preserved; in this new form, it exists only to annihilate other life.
Bereft of Body.A wraith can move through solid creatures and objects as easily as a mortal creature moves through fog.
A wraith might retain a few memories of its mortal life as shadowy echoes. However, even the strongest events and emotions become little more than faint impressions, fleeting as half-remembered dreams. A wraith might pause to stare at something that fascinated it in life, or it might curb its wrath in acknowledgment of a past friendship. Such moments come rarely, however, because most wraiths despise what they were as a reminder of what they have become.
Undead Commanders. A wraith can make an undead servant from the spirit of a humanoid creature that has recently suffered a violent death. Such a fragment of woe becomes a specter, spiteful of all that lives.
Wraiths sometimes rule the legions of the dead, plotting the doom of living creatures. When they emerge from their tombs to do battle, life and hope shrivel before them. Even if a wraith’s armies are forced to retreat, the lands its forces occupied are so blasted and withered that those who live there often starve and die.
Undead Nature. A wraith doesn’t require air, food, drink, or sleep.
MOVE: Jayson moves to have a good angle on the Wraith and about 10-20ft outside the room: (spending 30 feet of movement; first diagonal costs 5 ft. of movement, second costs 10 ft., third costs 5 ft., etc.) BONUS: ACTION: Cast Eldritch Blast, pointing at the wraith.

At Jayson's silent signal, Lorken springs forward, closing the distance to the Wraith in an instant. Giving voice to a yell that makes no sound within the magical silence, he swings his greataxe in huge arcs, trying to make the most of their advantage.
Attack 1 (advantage, Great Weapon Master): To Hit 16, Damage 17 Slashing
Attack 2 (advantage, Great Weapon Master): To Hit 16, Damage 16 Slashing
Broma follows shortly thereafter, swinging his primed gauntlets. He's very eager to see how his fists will affect the spirit. He's especially eager to investigate what brought the wraith here. But first comes neutralization.
[Thunder Gauntlets' 1st, To hit: 19, Damage: 13]
[Thunder Gauntlets' 2nd, To hit: 21, Damage: 8]
(Note: "A creature hit by the gauntlet has disadvantage on attack rolls against targets other than you until the start of your next turn.")
2. Wraith (surprised -- no actions but can take reactions after its go in this round)
3. Alaina,Gudrune, Capone, Broma.
As Jayson dashes further into the cavern he is already chanting the fell words that form his cantrip. In the dark of the room, with only a narrow gap between his allies, the first actinic bolt flashes past the Wraith and it is clear that wherever it did hit, it wasn't the Wraith. He stops and plants his feet once he is at a suitable range. This second bolt strikes true, a dark bloom -- somehow darker than even the shadow that forms the Wraith -- flares into being for a moment, distorting its form.
Lorken is there only a scant moment later. His beard and his ears wiggle in the silent zone. Whatever he shouts, though it cannot be heard, it is strong enough to flat some of the errant hairs in his goatee. His axe sweeps back and forth in two great cleaving blows. They pass through the specter as easily as air, and yet ... there is something in the magic of the air. A faint ethereal trail of blue motes, and the specter opens its mouth wide and staggers back, surely screaming.
It gives Broma the opportunity he needs. His cerulean armor begins to build up a faint glow, while the gauntlets he wears spark and pulse. He punches forward with big open hand smacks while the wraith is distracted and ... it is not clear if anything happens. The Thunder of his gauntlets does not seem to have any effect at all, though they pulse as if they had hit his foe.
Jayson hits with one bolt.
Lorken deals full damage on both hits with a magical axe.
Broma deals no thunder damage as he in a zone of Silence which grants all within it immunity to thunder damage. The secondary effect of his gauntlets continues to grant disadvantage to the Wraith, however.
Alaina, Capone (and Gudrune) to go still, then Lorkenand Jaysonagain after them.
Capone shuffles just inside the room, staying clear of the door so others might pass too, right into the silence. He then unleashes a psionic Tasha's mind whip at the undead, DC16 Int save or dealing 8 psychic damage plus some debilitating effects.

I'm probably laughing.
It is apparently so hard to program Aberrant Mind and Clockwork Soul spell-swapping into dndbeyond they had to remake the game without it rather than implement it.
The first arrow only grazes the vestments that the Wraith wears, seeming to draw no pained reaction from the dead creature. It is the second of the ranger’s arrows that passes through the Wraith’s chest, drawing a silent scream.
Capone’s mind reaches for the Wraith. There is … something there, but in the frenetic back and forth of combat, and the silence, he is unable to bring his power to bear, his own mind slipping around the Wraith’s like it is a polished marble. No way in.
Gudrune runs to the door and readies her axe to chop at the Wraith if it exits to attack the back line.
1st Attack (Reckless Attack, Great Weapon Master): 7 to hit...
2nd Attack (Reckless Attack, Great Weapon Master - I accidentally rolled the two hit rolls separately, but they're in the game log): Critical Hit, 30 damage.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Jayson says, "Do you fear this monster? You should. But even more, it should fear you, my friends!"

Jayson and Lorken find a strange kind of balance. As an Eldritch Blast flies to the left of Wraith, Lorken swings up and to the right. To move backward from both the Wraith finds itself in the wrong position, exactly as planned.
Jayson’s second bolt strikes the Wraith directly between the eyes. As the dark flame blooms it covers the Wraith’s vision. Lorken’s axe strikes true, cleaving from head to pelvis in one blow.
For a moment, it looks almost like it will fall apart as the blue motes of Lorken’s axe temporarily bisect it. It pulls itself whole, but it looks ragged.
Threadbare, the Wraith flees backward. Broma is directly behind it, but it matters not, the Wraithhowling through Broma like the wind.
[Broma takes 1 psychic damage]
It flees into the back of the room, vanishing into the stone of the room, presumably fleeing, the fight ove—
It appears suddenly, having turned in the wall, to emerge between Gudrune and Capone. No longer silenced, it lets out a hacking, croaking scream as it reaches out to touch Capone, its fingers sliding beyond the goggles and beard to rummage beneath his skull.
[The wraith deals 9 psychic damage, 4 for Capone with Resistance].
Telepathically, Alaina says. "Good idea."
