Once all the scrolls are put into the bags, Gotrek does a final check to see if anything else in the rolm is of use. Then leads the way further down the corridor.
As Gotrek steps into the room (see map in Discord) he sees it is 30 feet (north-south) and 40 feet (east-west). As with other rooms where Thromkor's light was not sufficient to fully illuminate the room, there is sufficient moonlight coming in through windows in both the north and south walls for Gotek to see all the room. On the south wall he notices two double doors with a bar across them. On the west wall he can see a door.
The party moves very quietly across the Entry Hall to the Monastery to the door on the other side and Gotrek opens it very carefully. As he peers through the door he sees that it continues West for 50 feet before it looks like it turns North. At the very end of the corridor he can see a door and about halfway down on the southern side (left) he can see two doors.
As Gotrek quietly opens the door, light from Thromkor's LightRock floods into the room startling the inhabitants. There are two people dressed in monkish robes wearing Gargoyle masks - these ones have eyeholes this time - quietly meditating in the middle of squares C1 & A2. There are a further four people - not wearing masks - but dressed in monkish robes asleep (2 each) in squares B2 & C2.
Although you were quiet the light and the fact that two were awake watching door means that you don't have surprise. You do have initiative (Cole, Tibold, Gotrek and Thromkor) for the first round but the Monks will get to respond. I will roll normal initiative for Round 2.
As Gotrek pushes the door open further, Cole rushes past him and bails up Monk #2 in the far corner of the dormitory. The ferocity of his flying hands and feet forces the monk back as he does a total of 17 points of bludgeoning damage. Tibold then steps into the room and whispers "Time to try...this,"putting a finger to his lips. Suddenly everything goes quiet; you can even hear the combatant’s breath. The flickering light from Thromkor’s rock and the silence makes it feel like – for anybody who is watching – as if it was an old silent movie. Gotrek then pushes past Tibold and recklessly charges Monk #1 swinging his Great Axe, which the monk nimbly ducks under. Thromkor raises a clawed hand at Monk#1 and speaks a few words in Draconic. Numbing frost forms on it, but the monk just shakes his shoulders and the frost/ice falls away.
Monk #1 then steps forward and taking advantage of Gotrek’s lack of defence and attempts to kick him the chest, Gotrek takes a step backwards and the kick fails to land. However, Gotrek fails to see the palm strike that hits the side of the head inflicting four points of bludgeoning damage – half of which Gotrek because of his rage is able to shake off and he only takes 2 points in total of bludgeoning damage. Monk #2 comes out of his corner fists and feet flying. Fortunately for Cole only one of his blows hit but it was a solid blow to his abdomen and Cole is winded badly taking 7 points of bludgeoning damage.
Tibold begins to speak, but remembers his spell. Instead, he raises his hands high above his head. Light descends from them upon Thromkor, Gotrek, Tibold, and Cole, who are suddenly filled with a sense of inspiration.
Tibold dodges and spends one BI to give the aforementioned people 5 temporary hitpoints and the opportunity to disengage and move up to 30 feet as an immediate reaction.

Tibold steps into the room, leaving space for Gotrek and Cole to be in front of him.
"Time to try...this," he whispers, putting a finger to his lips. Immediately the area is muted.
Silence.
And that's all I have to say about that.
Gotrek moves to A1 and enters a rage, which looks quite odd in perfect solence. He the takes a wild zwing at the monk in aA2
Thromkor raises a clawed hand at the monk in A2 and speaks a few words in Draconic. Numbing frost forms on it.
Frostbite: needs 14 CON save or it suffers 1 cold damage and has disadvantage on its next weapon attack roll
