Adric is going to flank with Finlan for advantage and then swing again.

Finlan dodges the swing with practiced expertise and follows up with the flourishing strike of his rapier.

Attack: 8 Damage: 12

Balmaris doubles over in pain with that strike....and somehow turns a bit whiter than he already is.....he stands back up, holding his side, looks around the landing where they are then swings his sickle once more at the now flaming armor.

Then.....to everyone's surprise - he disappears right before your eyes! and reappears on the far side of the landing out of attacking range and slumps against the wall.

Though Creak and Adric miss, it sets up Finlan and Balmaris once more for a devastating pair of attacks. The rapier climbs up, barely clipping the helmet, sending it spinning in the air just as Balmaris's sickle whips in a horizontal line, knocking it clear across the hallway with a clatter. The armor shudders for a second before it falls in a pile of smoldering metal while the oil continues to burn on the floor.

Balmaris winces as he stands up "wasn't expecting that..well done....I think it broke a couple ribs" as he prods his sides with his fingers.

Adric is going to pump 5 points of Lay on Hands into Belmaris. "Maybe this should help, friend."

Gralwynn rushes over to Balmaris's side, channels Cure Wounds and slaps him on his side, where he had previously prodded his injured ribs; hard enough to hurt, not enough to damage.

Healing him 4 hp

"Maybe that'll teach you to not jump infront of heavy, animated metal" she says grimly to him.

"And the next one of you to end up in his position is getting a wet-willy!" She cackled with devilish delight, to the remaining.

"My thanks, to both of you...." he says stretching his arms around and testing his flexibility and upon seeing Rynna "you need to work on your aim my dear.." and he'll chuckle "who are your new friends?"

"I am Gralwynn... this is Creak" turning her head to look behind her at the entrance to the 3rd floor she shouts "Say high Creak!" 

“High Creak!” Creak extends a hand, “Crow Beak Creak?- Treasure Hunter- My thanks to both of you- Chauntea’s bouncy bits! Where did you come from?”

"Fascinating, I have never met a Kenku.....what do you know of the Raven Queen?" and Balmaris will pull out his notepad and jot down a few more notes.

"Oh, it appears that we've found Balmaris' friend! Rather convenient. My name is Adric Stormheart."

Creak, you know that she is rumored to have been an elf queen, in a time more ancient than any living creature has seen. There are hushed tales that you've heard bits and pieces of which guess that she may be walking the material plane now as a haughty elf dancing in the moonlight while other tales claim that she is a broken figure with no true form that treads the depths of the Abyss because of her dalliances with Orcus. The one thing you know for truth is that there are VERY few people who speak of her without a tinge of mysticism and fear.

Balmaris nods along with everything Creak says "Orcus you say? hmmm" and jots more notes "very interesting......thank you Crow Beak Creak, Treasure Hunter..." and he puts away his notepad.

Creak mimics an elven woman’s voice, “Well, let’s see... Oh! My mother once told me stories about a woman that dances through the moonlight. With hair like the blackest raven, she steps to and fro throughout the material plane. She used to tell me that if I went outside too late in the night, she would sweep me into her dance and take me to wherever she desired. Maybe she was a demon! Oh, yes, she could be, Creak. In line with Orcus and all his horde.” Creak mimics a laugh, “but those are just stories, Creak. No need to be scared. Now get some rest. We have a big day tomorrow.”

Creak nods, shrugs, and winks at Rynna, “Ey, sue me- Let’s get moving- Yes?”
