Khessa would like to check the nearest door; there must be other Cultists nearby, since the bodies have been tsken away...
But the blonde arcane warrior examines the now gauntletless armor first. She tries to determine which kind of armor is - and if it could be better than the one she or the other party members are wearing.
KHESSA will be able to see down the hallway into a partially collapsed room that has three wooden beams bracing its ceiling. Situated between the beams is a scorched wooden table with a human cadaver resting atop it. A frighteningly thin woman in a black robe is studying the corpse, her face largely hidden under a cowl. Around her feet creep a swarm of skeletal rats. Two Bane Cultist are at the door. They look a lot like the Bane Cultist the party killed in the previous area. You will notice discarded armor and a helm behind the thin woman that resembles the armor of a Bane Cultist. You can guess whose cadaver is resting atop the table.
She notices the light from the party and glances through the door. “Ahh more for me to play with,”she says in a low voice that is raspy and guttural as though she has some disease of the throat. “Go my little ones.” The swarm of skeletal rats move from around her feet and head toward the door.
I guess Rosaline will spend her first turn being a basic Barbarian, using her bonus action on rage followed by attacking whatever monster is closest to her using one of her twin shortswords.
Shortsword:
Attack: 24 Damage: 9 + 2 sneak attack bonus damage if an ally of hers is within 5-ft of the enemy (piercing)

Unhappy that the market got rid of individual purchases for one-off subclasses, magic items, and monsters?
'This must be the Master of Souls that the Bane Cultist Leader spoke of!' Khessa thinks, seeing the scene 'And what I see confirms the little love that binds the three branches - she found these dead Bane cultists... and the first thing she's thinking of is turning them into zombies!'
The blonde arcane warrior has every intention of attacking the ruthless Leader, but the horror of the realization paralyzes her reflexes. Once she recovers...
If Khessa has a reasonably clear path to reach the Cultist Leader:
...the tall adventuress charges the creepy thin woman, her Greataxe firmly gripped in both hands and brings down a tremendous downward slash towards the life-hater!
Otherwise, if there are other enemies in the way:
...the tall adventuress immediately puts her strategic mind to work to figure out where best to position herself to face the enemies that have placed themselves between her and the main target. [[ OOC: She will probably attack, then step to her left, leaving room for another attacker to take her place and attack as well. In her current position, if an enemy comes to her front, she and two companions could attack in melee that single enemy (one from front, 2 from corners). But I'd prefer to decide the exact movement after the monsters that have beaten her initative have taken their place. ]] As soon as she takes her position, she spins her Greataxe, to clear a path as quickly as possible.
Khessa also knows that the Leader is a spellcaster (both because her followers were, with their necrotic attacks, and because of the tomes found as treasure, and, most importantly, because she created zombies) - and that she is human - and that most spells require the caster to see the target. She therefore quickly assesses what light sources there are in the area (in addition to the Lighted torch, which she could easily throw far away if needed).
He will cast mind sliver at the thin woman, save Intelligence 13 or take 1 point of damage and -d4 on her next saving throw before the end of my next turn. If she is dead by my turn can I target one of the cultist?
“Ha, no one to rescue this time. That makes this a bit easier. And will teach you to have a hostage to complicate our lives. Not that we want you to live long enough to use that understanding.” She moves forward and casts Ice Knife at the Very Thin Woman (Ooc: Twiggy? Olive Oil?)
attack 22
damage 4 (+10 if fails Dex save)

The suit of splint armor is welded together and would require an armor smith to make it useful to wear.
The party will notice a second door.
(Big map updated. Which door do you go to. And what do you do?)
"Let's try the south door" Khessa advises. "It's on a less damp path... I doubt the Cultists appreciate bathing in sewer water".
The blonde arcane warrior approaches and tries to eavesdrop.
Khessa's Perception: 12
KHESSA will hear faint movement, but it doesn’t sound like it is on the immediate opposite side of the door.
Elias follows Khessa down the passage to the door.
Rosebud continues to follow. She looks at her staff, smiles at it, then says to it, “almost time to get cracking.”
Khessa whispers: "I hear faint movement, but it doesn’t sound like it is on the immediate opposite side of the door. Be ready for anything".
The blonde arcane warrior opens the door and, if there is a passage, begins to follow it...
