OOC: Imagine a rectangular room, covered in fungus, with a lava river at the bottom. Unless you can come up with a creative solution, whoever goes down will most certainly touch the mushrooms. Anvils are heavy, so it will require several individuals to pull it up. In your estimation, with a person also attached to a rope for example, it will be a good 300 or more lbs (Eg. More difficult roll)
Lira can make a nature check on the fungus
Vydar
Vydar hears a voice in his head: "I know your pain. If you free me, you will never be the victim of bullying again. Vengeance will be yours." Make a wisdom save.
There are 3 types of mushrooms here that Lira can identify.
1) False Reaper. (Black)This mushroom causes a humanoid who eats it to make a Con save (DC 13) or become poisoned. If a creature chooses to willingly fail the save by preparing themselves with meditation beforehand they can drop to 0 hit points instead and remain there, suspended in a state of false death nearly indistinguishable from the real thing. This state lasts for 48 hours - whereupon they may make their death saving throws at advantage. If they succeed their saving throws they immediately come awake with half their HP and a level of exhaustion. If they succeed two, they come awake as above but with 2 levels of exhaustion. If they succeed one, they come awake with two levels of exhaustion and 1 HP. If they fail their saves, they stabilize at 0 and remain unconscious until they come awake naturally or are magically healed, coming away from the experience with two levels of exhaustion and a blinding headache.
2) Limus Botelium. (green/ yellow)This mushroom is small, green, and slimy to the touch and is often called Slimy Doom. Any creature that eats this fungus begins to bleed uncontrollably, has a disadvantage on CON. checks and saving throws, and whenever they take damage they are stunned until the end of its next turn.
3) Beguiler's Bloom, a rare, magically enchanted mushroom: A small, color-shifting mushroom with a sweet aroma found in fey-touched or enchanted areas. When consumed, it causes disadvantage on saving throws against Charm and Suggestion effects for 1 hour, and prevents gaining advantage on Wisdom saves during that time.
Lira's eyes widen as she recognizes the varieties of mushrooms growing about the chamber. "Definitely don't eat any of the mushrooms! The black ones will poison you--or let you fake your death--the green causes uncontrollable bleeding, and the color-changing one will make you weak against charms." Such terrible effects...she wonders if she might be able to craft poisons using these.
(If she spent some time harvesting the mushrooms, she could use each for different effects if given enough time to craft them into poisons (need jars, fire, etc).
Vydar sighs, it seems like they will be going in completely unprotected. He gives the air in front of him a flat look when everyone proceeds to funnel into the room. He had thought it would be a good idea to go in a few at a time in an attempt to at least keep a few of them unaffected. Seems like that’s not happening.
Still pointedly not looking at the mural, he enters the room.
"It's probably going to take all of us to lower Iolinder down to get the anvil, once he dons the gloves."
Zarbyn starts to think the longer they're here the more likely they will be to fall victim to whatever got Greta.
"Let's be quick about it! We don't want to tarry here too long!"

"A rightful place awaits you in the Realms Above, in the Land of the Great Light. Come in peace, and live beneath the sun again, where trees and flowers grow."
— The message of Eilistraee to all decent drow.
"Run thy sword across my chains, Silver Lady, that I may join your dance.”
"I know Lev also stated a willingness to retrieve the anvil, and I think we have the same reasons for doing so, but he is more injured than I. If no one objects I will wear the gloves and prepare to be lowered."
(Sorry, I'm trying to describe this mushroom room. When you open the door, it is an immediate drop of 60 feet. The walls are covered in mushrooms. The floor also has mushrooms. There is a small stream of lava running across the floor. In order to go into the room, you would either need to climb the wall down, or be lowered via a rope or put spikes in the walls.)
Lev hesitates when Iolinder also volunteers. He isn’t wrong, Lev is injured. But…
”No,” Lev says. “Let me do it. I…” he hesitates again, seeming uncomfortable, something quite unusual for him. “Gods this sounds stupid but, I don’t think I can die. Or at least, I can’t die easily. It’s happened twice now. I should be dead but I’m not.” His hand goes to the medallion of libra hanging from his neck. “This is what I wanted to talk to you about, Iolinder. It just… never felt like the right time. It, still isn’t the right time.” He says the last part bitterly, “Just give me the bloody rope and let me get the anvil.”
The two arbalests are attached to stone mounts and a pivot system. Both stone mounts could provide additional holding power as you lower either Lev or Iólinder down. You note that he will definitely be touching the mushrooms. Lira notes the heat and humidity of the chamber. She finds the head and humidity coming out of the chamber uncomfortable (If she enters, she will have disadvantage on actions).
The gloves cover both hands and go up half way up the forearm. Hopefully, the anvil is not beneath this depth the the dwarf spoke truely about their resistance to heat.
Iólinder will focus on his own connection to Libra as though they might strengthen his connection to Lev.
"Everything dies, Lev. Everything. Some of us simply take a bit longer for it to stick."
Iólinder will untie the rope from himself and tie it around Lev while glancing to Morric who seems a bit off since opening the door... A plan forms but he realizes Morric may need help clearing his mind.
"You show your strength of character matches your strength of arm. That strength will be needed on both ends of this rope."
He nods to the others in the room deciding to fully trust them to lend aid where they can.
"Faith isn't only about religion, and war isn't only about who sacrifices. No one's going to die today. Because we each have faith in each other, this is no sacrifice. Hold firm. And so shall we."
He glances to each of them, and casts Bless on himself, Lev, and Morric.
"Snap out of, Morric. We need you." He offers the other end of the rope to Morric. "We need your strength."
To Lev: "Maybe hold your breath on the way down." He pours water onto a rag to dampen it and offers it to Lev to tie around his mouth. "I don't know that it'll help, but it can't hurt."
Finally, her will hand over the gloves.
(OOC-this is dependant on Lev using his hit die to regain HP. I can better hold the bless of I'm not taking damage but Lev but I'm sure Lev will need those HP if he is the one going down.)

Amdaeng begins to look uncertain, " Um....why don't we just leave the anvil alone......."

Iólinder will tie rope around himself as he will need to be pulled up after grabbing the anvil so being lowered makes more sense.

See private discord spoiler, not gonna put it in the game thread this time, incase others take a peak.
Iólinder will help run the opposite end of the rope though the arbelests for support while considering Lev's words.
