Eirikur looks to Gaelan. "We can't leave the crates alone anymore and we need a better way to communicate between the freight car and the good doctor. Maybe Dr. Bailey has an answer for this. Would you like to stick with the crates or debrief the others and ask Dr. Bailey if he has something to help?"
Eirikur nods. He takes out one of his lengths of rope and ties the handle of the loading door to an anchor, making it impossible for it to be easily opened from the outside and leaving Gaelan with only one door to worry about, then takes his leave to return to Dr. Bailey.
"We arrived just in time. Two individuals were trying to nick the one of Dr. Bailey's crates. We were able to stop them, however, and they fled. Dr. Bailey, would you happen to know of any way we might be able to communicate with each other from one boxcar to another?" He asks, only now wiping the blood off his chest.
Hyalithza will stay in her spot and merely keep a watch on Dr. Bailey from a seat at the bar. She will order a drink and nurse it for the time being, doing her best to see if anyone is acting strange. Mainly her focus will be on the scientists to make sure they don't try to tamper with anything else.
"I can give a pretty loud shout if needed, Eirikur. I'm surprised we didn't hear your scuffle. Did you take them out quiet-like?" Modoc uses Thaumaturgy to make his voice three times louder but speaks with a quiet tone.
Hyalithza you intuit that the man with the large case is staring daggers at Patton Riddle. There is deep hatred in his eyes. You sense he may see Dr. Bailey in the same light since they seem to be so chummy with each other as Patton Riddle is sitting with Dr. Bailey.
This man did not overhear the conversation from earlier between Dr. Bailey and Patton Riddle.

Eirikur chuckles. "We were quiet, but..." he looks around at all the people talking amongst themselves. "It seems the excited conversations here drowned out the sound of pistols. Took a bullet right here." Eirikur jams his thumb into his chest, at about where his heart would be. The bruise remains, though the only blood left is a smeared splatter, staining his maroon shirt.
"Maybe we can use your power of projection to act as a relay point between the freight car and Dr. Bailey. Put you between the two so you are in earshot of both, perhaps?"
Eirikur flags down a worker to order himself a drink.
Taking note of this, Hyalithza will slide away from the bar and move closer to Erikur. "I'm getting a bit anxious about the feller with the case over there. He's been eying the man next to the doc like he is trying to kill him by sight alone."
Eirikur will follow where Hyalithza indicated with his eyes and nod. "I would like to keep ourselves from getting tangled in the business of others, but sometimes doing that will keep our charge out of danger. How do you feel about questioning the man or convincing him to move along?" Eirikur whispers to Hyalithza.
"It might be worth trying but I'm more for solving things with a fight then I am at talking to someone. In my experience words don't get you far unless you have some luck on your side." Hyalithza says as she crosses her arms, slowly looking back towards the glaring man. With a shrug she moves towards him.
"I guess with how you're glaring at them big brained fools ya heard about the mess they made of the train?"

Dr. Bailey's crate is put back with no mishaps and everything seems as it was. Well as far as you can recollect.
The man with the large case looks away when his eyes meet Modoc but a moment later, he goes back to staring at Dr. Bailey and Mr. Riddle.
Modoc keeps an eye on the man and Mr. Riddle with a frown. He'll hope the others are okay.
Eirikur looks to Gaelan. "We can't leave the crates alone anymore and we need a better way to communicate between the freight car and the good doctor. Maybe Dr. Bailey has an answer for this. "Sure thing boss."
Gaelan takes up a position in which he can monitor the entry points to the cargo car and the professor's crates.

Dr. Bailey shakes his head "I do not have such a device though you can ask the other scientists though I would not trust them"
Erikur please roll Insight as well since you also see the man with the large case staring at Dr. Bailey and Patton Riddle.

Jut to pass the time, Gaelan cuts off a foot of rope and pins it to a wall then makes casual throws with darts at it.
