Pushover smiles to see a new companion, but of course, as usual, doesn't speak unless spoken to, instead just giving wave in tandem with her thin smile in Grigs' direction, before questioning if it might come of as disingenuous, so turns away flustered and instead takes a look at the ring on the finger the rat belched up, considering whether if it's worth anything [Investigation: 15 + 6 = 21]
Grigor returns the shy woman's smile with a little wave and toothy grin of his own. It looks like he might say something, but gets distracted by Ja'Dul's extra arms. "That's handy." twitching up bushy eyebrows.

Everyone calls me Grigs by the way. I see alright in the dark if you want me to play canary and check things out ahead of the torches a little ways."

Wiping away the blood, it is a platinum ring that could go for some some gold. After prying the ring off the finger, the inside is engraved with a 'Burton Boot'
The only way forward that remains is the northern passage, with two human tracks heading there as well.
Leaning down, the tiefling wizard takes a handkerchief from her robe pocket and uses it to pick up the finger, sliding the ring off as she does so. She gives it an examine and then says to the party ‘Seems this ring belonged to one Button Boot. Unless he’s roaming around here without a finger, I’d assume we are welcome to keep it and later split the profit when we broker it, though if we do find that they are alive, I’ll gladly return it on request.’ Secretly, Pushover would quite like to have the ring, since she recently had her access to her late father’s vault restricted, on account of her ‘over-generous’ spending habits, and since she can only use her inheritance for bare necessities until proven that she’s responsible enough to use the funds wisely, she’s in need of some extra spending money. She then takes the finger and drops it into the open pages of her gnarled spellbook Aebelskink, tickling the spine and muttering about how ‘I agree, you do deserve a treat after that battle’
"Boot? Uh..." Peering more at the coughed up finger, Pushover had removed the ring from. "Not encouraging. We should move." Grigor moves ahead "stealthily", unless one of the others protests, intending to be an advanced pair of eyes and ears.
((stealth 6 first in game roll, great sign :P Perception 16))
The party continues onward, passing through worked tunnels, natural caverns, and still functional sewers. Most of side passages are blocked by rubble or end abruptly, making the path of the two set of tracks easy to follow.
The party enters a rectangular chamber shows no earthquake damage, possibly because of the buttresses and columns supporting the walls and ceiling. Four pools of liquid are set into the floor — one blue, another green, a third clear, and the last cloudy. Carvings on the walls seemingly depict the pools, and show robed figures submerging themselves within. At the far end of the chamber stands a double door with a large, ornately carved lock.
Pushover looks around the room, and immediately thinks ‘So many different options of what to do…’ To avoid making any decisions herself that could go against the others wishes, she simply murmurs ‘I could examine the pools for any magical properties, and see if there’s any religious significance to the carvings, whilst the rest of you search the room for a key or check the door for traps? Only if you’re happy with that though, I don’t want to be a pain, in fact do whatever you think is best!’ She nervously spins the ring around in her hand, her head reeling from the monumental stress of putting forward a suggestion.
Grigor shifts his pack. "Yeah, I'lll check out the door." Keeping his distance from the pools and moving cautiously, the hairy man lumbers over to inspect the door, checking for traps and then checking to see if it's locked.
"Was not expecting something like this. Thought we were headed into a cave..."

Sigurd asks "Do we have a locksmith? Any gear? Or do Grigor and I bash it down?" the pirate pauses a moment, forgetting to use his pirate accent, asks in a cultured accent, "Wait a minimum... why is there a locked door in a cave tunnel?" (OOC: Just how far down did we go? are we breaking into someone's cellar?)
"I can pick a lock." The bugbear doesn't look confident. He glances away from the door he's examining at the change of accents, but seems more interested in his task. "I'd rather make sure there are no traps first though. And a key would be better."

Sigurd eyes the bugbear weapon for a moment, then asks, "Ye be a duelist or fight with two weapons?"
He then offers the torch to the Grigs, "Some 'o the team can not see in the dark and I prefer both my hands free for fightin'."

Ja'Dul takes a good look at each of the pools. Looking, smelling, stirring each with an arrow to see what happens.

The door is locked with a fairly sturdy lock. But does show a keyhole, meaning that there is a key or possible to pick lock it.
The pools give no reaction except for the forming of a small whirlpool as Ja'Dul stirs. Besides their colors, they are the same liquid.
Only able to confirm the door is locked, Grigor helps anyone who approaches to search for traps.
(If possible, HELP action for adv to anyone searching for traps)
