Geren lines up a shot with his shortbow, trying to finish off the warrior in melee with Feydon, looses the arrow.. and hits! The warrior finally succumbs to his wounds. Feydon, now free to move past him into the mess of tribals beyond, does so swinging his rapier and short sword at the wounded tribal on the left, connecting with the former, and bringing it low.
Missing by just half a foot, the Lizardman tribal looks visibly relived not to have been hit by what would have been a fatal blast of cold.
Hnefa charges at the tribal nearest to the spot where they keep emerging, an before it has a chance to look up at her, his head is crushed by her vicious maul.
Gus cats another Frostbite - this time slaying the Tribal directly in front of Feydon - it screams it a cry of frosty doom.
Sir Jory comes up from behind Feydon, and reaching around him, makes two quick attacks with his halberd, one missing, and the other obliterating what seems to be the last lizardman.
Except of course it was not! Two more have come out of the opening - though it sees that these may be the last two - they each instinctively hurl javelins at Feydon and Jory respectively, but each miss. Only afterwards do they seem to realize all their allies are gone, and they are greatly outnumbered. Incapable of morale failure the way that most people are, they have something similar, and it's clear that, should they live for another chance to act, they'll be darting into the patch of water to the north, or back from the wall out of which they came.
Dawn will attempt to Toll the Doom of the one in the back, (Tribal I) thinking that the other one isn't likely to survive to retreat. She'll then start making her way closer to the cave entrance.
DC 15 WIS save to avoid 6 necrotic damage (assuming it is unwounded, so using smaller die)
The lizardman last to arrive clutches at his ears and tries to shake away the sound, but the scream of pain he emits betrays his failure to do so - not dead, but badly hurt, and looking about as close to panicked as lizardmen can look.
Geren sees his chance and draws his rapier, dashing up to deliver the final blow to the lizardfolk. He misses, but that gives Feydon the chance to strike them down.
Sheathing his blade Geren looks around the cavern.
"Well. Let's search the place, see if we can find anything useful or learn anything we can use."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
You also find:
3 Longswords - shoddily made, but very sharp. (Normal damage, but they'll break more easily than a normal longsword - mostly just means they're not as valuable).
3 Lizardman shields - +2 AC but also look to be less valuable than nornal shields.
Hnefa recovers her Javelin +1. Between the tirbals and fighters they had a total of 45 Javelins. The javelins look to be of varying condition, as though most were made by the lizardmen, but some recovered from adventurers like yourselves.
You also note something is very peculiar about the cave wall to the right, where they kept emerging.... when Geren passes his hand into what appears to be stone, it simply goes right through. As each of you witness this, you find the illusion disappears, leaving a long corridor leading into darkness. It's only wide enough for a single person to get through at a time, and seems like it could go one for some distance.
To the north, you can see the bend to the cave that Madame Cleo the Owl had seen from the outside. The water appear to deepen in a large circular area near the bend - this is likely where at least two of those lizardmen emerged from earlier. Its strange... the cave floor is consistently the same level, until it reaches the deeper part, and then it disappears. It's impossible to see how deep it goes, or if it's straight down, or what.
Eltra brushes off any dirt he may have gotten on himself and waddles over to the group "Looks like I got 3 that time....Good thing I'm around eh?" Once he's done jabbing the group he takes notice of the illusion disappearing "Well what do we have here? Let me peer inside these old eyes can see pretty well in the dark" Eltra looks in able to see normally in Dim Light and Darkness—both magical and nonmagical—within 120 ft. of yourself.

Eltra is able to see that the corridor extends the entire length of his ability to see. He can see at the very end that there appears to be some water on the ground, if not actual waterways. There are faint animalistic noises coming from that direction, but past the edge of his vision. Of the main room, another deep pool can be seen past the first one.
Jory, finally recovered from the fight and catching his breath, walks over to Feydon and looks almost ready to punch him. He stops shy of this, however, and instead whispers angrily in his face.
"You IDIOT! What were you thinking? I told you there could be any number of lizardfolk in here. Whose to say that more might not come out of these pools any minute?"
Feydon shrugs. "No one's to say that, I'd guess. Your point?"
Jory scoffs, and moves the stand by the nearest pool, halberd out and ready for more. But none come.
Coming back out to the group Eltra relays to eveyone what he sees and hears
When the group is quiet, it seems like most of the sounds are coming from down the corridor - perhaps because its the most open way for sound to come to you by. Much of the sounds heard don't seem to be coming from the end of the corridor precisely, but from somwhere far deeper into the cave - its just easiest heard from the corridor. There's definitely a strong sense that this is far more than just a little cave. It could be a vast network of caves, and may even connect to some of the other openings. In the main room around the bend, So far as you've peaked around the corner, all that can be seen is a very high ceiling, the two deep pools that seem to go on forever within what is otherwise just a couple feet of water, the last remnant of the waterway leading into the cave it seems. The water seems to end around the bend, and to its right there is a wide open, dry, vut otherwise apparently empty room. Though its hard to see how far back it goes, you get the sense its not that far. If Eltra were to peek around (and I'lll assume he does as he explains to the group the corridor), he can confirm that the room to the north is empty. There is a wall at the far north end of it that looks like it was layered there artificially. Lizardmen don't do masonry, so it must have been some other group to make it.
The warrior blinks and shakes off the noise that would have otherwise been his death knell. He's still going somehow. It's now Gerens turn.

It's about half past the 16th hour, btw. There's going to be about 3 more hours of daylight.
