As unlikely as it sounds I'm not au fait with Three Dragon Ante or dice, that's why I'm a greeter hostess. Speaking of which Lilith you and Quentin have agreed between you for you to try out being a patron hostess in Avernus. She leaves Cania and gestures towards the party to follow her. She walked quickly south past the Spa and Baths. Welcome to Avernus! A2
To your left is a secluded lounge that holds a small bar as well as armchairs and couches.
To your right the area holds four, Three Dragon Ante tables and copper slot machines. Just south of the tables are two cashier booths.
This is a very popular area as it needs very little outlay to play here.
The white-haired tiefling lady in the red dress nods and smiles to Liriel and gracefully walks around in Avernus, getting a feel of the room and it's occupants, her eyes discreetly seeking out those who would be susceptible to her charms and loaded enough to make them worth her time.
As Liriel takes them to Avernus and points out the Three Dragon Ante tables and the dice, Exa is keeping an eye out for the 21 tables that their new employer had assigned her to.
Liriel led them over the stream. This is where you came in, welcome to Dis A3. This area is full of copper slot machines and five tables of life and death (21s). Here Exa this table will be yours and pointed towards the table nearest to the rat racetrack. It's very popular.
This is Thom a fellow croupier. Ask him about anything he'll help you out.
Thom looked at Exa for a moment then gave her a genuine smile, hello Exa he says.
Watch out for people trying a method they often cheat to get the winning 20. It started as 21s nowadays it's 20 and called life and death, helps stop the palmed aces. You'll have the table nearest to mine so we are likely to see each other often. Afternoons are the busiest time here, some of the big rollers have a few hands as a warm up for higher bets. You'll get tired of the rat race in Minauros they are very vocal. I'm hoping that Quentin will enchant the area to stop the noise being overheard like he does with the Cirque Maladomini.
Have a good look around and I'll see you tomorrow.
With that the tour is ended. I've got people to greet. If you need me again I'm normally by the docking area. Good luck all of you, see you bright and early tomorrow.
The white-haired tiefling lady in the red dress gives Karlton Keyes a discreet scrutinizing look, trying to determine how to play him. He could be an interesting diversion as they spent time preparing for the heist, and perhaps he would even play an unwitting part in it in the end.
"No questions, thank you for the nice tour Liriel, I'm sure I will be able make great things happen here." She says to their greeter with a pleasant smile. She too would then look for a way to discreetly meet with her accomplices.
"Hm...No, I think you've covered the gist of it. Thank you, Liriel. I look forward to working with you."The bard gives a smile, taking in the scenery for a few more moments before following his "new" colleagues.
It is difficult to find a spot without a security mirror. You try to suss out where you can go; the restaurant and sit near the kitchen away from the arc of the mirror down there, try the employees lounge, or stand to talk on the spiral staircase. You may have to leave the Casino to meet Kyreth back at the inn.
The white-haired tiefling lady in the red dress simply gives the tiefling with the broken horn a discreet nod and heads towards the entrance to make her way back to the inn for a discreet and secluded corner table meeting, although she is in no particular hurry, being generous with charming and pleasant smiles to the casino customers on the way out.
The pink tiefling gives a nod as well, pulling out a piece of parchment and ink pen. He hums to himself, looking ever the thoughtful composer as he lazily heads for the exit and inn.
Leaving a suitable gap in their departures by doing a round of the gaming tables where she'll work tomorrow night, Exa finally leaves the casino as well and heads toward the inn.
The streets of Havensend was clean and tidy, houses stood out for their flowers tumbling down from window boxes. The people were cheerful and the streets were full of off duty Teiflings. The Afterlife Casino had been good for them. The party arrives at the inn seperately to find Kyreth sitting at a table near the fire, he is sipping his favourite tea. He whispers to Exa and Lilith, if you go into our room upstairs you can drop the disguises and be yourselves for eating down here. It's a four bed common room with privacy curtains. I've paid for room and board.
"Well done Kyreth."the young dark-haired lady says with a pleased smile as she sheds the appearence of Lilith for a while. "All in all a good start I would say. All of us are in with positions where we can observe the goings on. If we somehow can get Kyreth into the security detail we would be well positioned for gathering necessary information for the execution of the heist. As far as I can see to execute we would need undisturbed access to the security room to deal with the mirror's and the Dao. Then we would need the cooperation of our target to some extent, both the password and that rod. Finally, if we could find some dramatic flair to it all to have our target disgraced in front of the prominent guests while we leave with what we came for." She says to the others as she makes herself comfortable on a chair to rest her weary feet.
"There is a change we hadn't expected," Exa points out.
"The statue was not in the vault like we thought it would be. It was on display in a glass case in Cania, one of the gambling rooms. We'll have to see if it's moved back to the vault at all, or whether we need a way to steal it out in the open."
So the statue is problematic? Did you see the entrance to the vault corridor, was it locked or opened with a pass key?
I think that I should try for the security detail, Waterdeep is so large that they can't know all the zhents there. Did you find a brooch in the laundry?

DM for Lilith
A tall human with very expensive clothes is inspecting the card tables. Going by his weighty purse he'd be someone to get to know.
Liriel watches you and adds That's Karlton Keyes, he is a merchant looking to open his own casino. He'll be here scoping out the joint for a few days.

Exa
Exa approaches her table excitedly, her eyes wandering across the cards spread across it and then up to it its current croupier.
"Hello, Thom. Nice to meet ya. Guess we're going to be table buddies?" she asks with an amicable grin.
"Anything I should know?"

Do you have any questions now before I go?
Exa
"Thanks, miss Liriel," Exa says with an appreciative smile.
"You and Quentin won't regret hiring me," she adds.
Once they are free to wander, she would look for a place that she and her companions could meet together without raising too many eyebrows.

A crease furrows Exa's tiefling brow as she tries to find somewhere suitable to have a private conversation.
She loiters on the spiral staircase, hoping to catch Mavilius and Delilah for a brief chat.
"Meet back at the inn?" she asks if the other two arrive.
