The young dark-haired lady allows Mavilius to help her up in one of the carriages, adjusting her dark dress once seated and making herself comfortable there. Thistle is with her now, invisible and fully briefed on the mission so far, ready to keep his eyes open for any pesky zhents or other vermin. Delilah finds herself a little bit excited over going slumming a bit, wondering for the briefest of moments if another dress would have been more appropriate.
Exa looks at the carriage then glances longingly up at the driver in his seat atop it. Her curious, feline eyes flick back and forth a number of times between them.
"Could I ride up top?" she asks eagerly, the tip of her tail twitching with excitement.
Your ride goes smoothly, even in the Docks District where the press of people walking made the coaches slow down. You pass a brothel with women leaning out the window calling to the sailors below, past the Merchants Docks and then to the Brine Widow. The establishment looked new and you can hear laughter inside even this early.
When they arrive, Exa eagerly throws her legs over the side of the carriage and leaps to the ground, landing deftly on her feet. She turns her curious, yellow eyes to the tavern in front of them, impatient to see its interior and whatever its patrons are enjoying so raucously.
She knocks encouragingly on the door to the carriage and then opens it.
"Oh dear, is that what I think it is?" The young dark-haired lady says with curiosity and feigned shock as she the coach passes the brothel with the women leaning out the window. "A sight we haven't quite seen yet."She adds with a playful smile to Mavilius.
As the coaches arrive at the Brine Widow, Delilah would let Mavilius help her off, then nodding to Exa. "Coming."She says, but waiting for Kyreth to deal with the little rascal. "Give the boy some coin and tell him to stay away from the zhents, in fact, ask him if we can expect zhents inside the tavern." She tells the blue-skinned tiefling.
The pink Tiefling seems utterly unfazed as they pass the sleazy brothel, giving an equally playful smirk at Delilah's reaction. "Curious? Such low class establishments do have their charm, I suppose, if you can avoid being beaten and robbed...Which I am certain we can." He gives a wink before hopping off the carriage and helping Delilah down.
While Kyreth deals with the boy, Mavilius looks around for any accomplices that might be using him and his sob story as a distraction to move in.
Mavilius gazed around but found no eyes watching them. As far as he can tell the child was just a bad thief which meant that the Guard would be after him, if the Zhents didn't make an example of him first.
Kyreth holds out 2 silver pieces. "Before I hand this over, are there any Zhents around?" Once the boy answers Kyreth will hand over the coins "Feed yourselves, and when you are done head for the Order of the Even-handed on Shenobel street. Tell them Guile sent you."
The boys eyes bulged at the look of the money. No sir...Guile, the Zhentarim run their own Tavern on the Docks. This Tavern just pays protection money. One of them might be in there gambling, the Brine Widow is renowned here for its clean gambling.
Allowing one of her accomplices to open the door for her, the young dark-haired lady in the dark dress enters the Brine Widow, her keen eyes quickly scanning the room for anyone who could be their contact.
Delilah looks inside but doesn't see a female Tiefling. The tavern keeper, a portly woman with a gracious smile says What can I get you drink or information?
"A bit of both will be just fine thank you..." The young dark-haired lady says with a polite smile, handing the portly tavern keeper 10 pieces of gold. "...your best wine and some glasses. Also, we are supposed to meet a tiefling here that are expecting us if you could tell us where to find her."
That's a princely sum, I've got a Whaterdhavian Burgundy that you'd enjoy. As for the Teifling are you after Verity Kye the Gambler? If so, she is upstairs in a private room where she plays 3 Dragon Ante with my customers. She works for me so no funny business. She puts 6 glasses on a tray with the bottle. Here follow me. She moves behind the bar to a set of stairs and proceeds up them. At the top she knocks on a door Verity I've got people here after you and it's not the guard.
Come in she calls from within. Lyssa took the tray in and perched it on the edge of the table,
Call me when you want a second bottle. Lyssa says.

Danny the coachman took one look at Exa and nodded, Just don't get in the way of the reins and we're good!
Exa
Exa grins widely at the coachman and pulls herself agilely up next to him. She is very careful to avoid the reins.
"Don't worry, I'll stay out of your way. The name's Exa."
